About Kim Matlack
For years, my husband and I have been looking for a 4-season place to get 'out of the rat race'. We love the outdoors, and wanted a place to do it all-hike, boat, snow ski, fish, golf, horseback ride....and relax. This past Fall, we finally discovered Watauga Lake and The Tree House. It is one of the most beautiful, peaceful places we have seen. We immediately fell in love with it and hope you will too!

Tree House vacation
Our week was very relaxing, the drive to the cabin is not stressful. We had everything we needed and the pontoon boat was great. Beautiful area.
Christmas in the mountains
The Treehouse is beautiful with views of the lake and mountains. The decor was great with beautiful wood accents that felt warm and inviting. We really loved spending quiet family time in the cabin.
Amazing property. Beautiful house and view. Great Owner.
We had an amazing and relaxing vacation. The Tree House is beautiful and Kim has thought of every detail. We will be back.
We loved our time at the treehouse.
Warm, spacious and beautiful. We rented the pontoon boat and fished every day on the lake. The wildlife was incredible we saw bear, deer, bald eagles, osprey, blue and green herons, ducks and geese. Awesome
