About the property

7500ft elev. Large 3 Bd+/2 Ba Top-Of-The-Hill Mountain Retreat; sleeps 12-14

! Ski out to Chairlift !

One sweet spot has it all: one of the world's rarest places with all-year-round activities. Wilderness with all amenities. Instant access to the mountain. Hike & bike those same trails that you ski in the winter.

Picture this: you’re at the top of the hill at 7500 ft elevation on Tramway Drive in Tahoe Village between 2 chairlifts: (Stagecoach and Boulder) - directly above the Boulder chair. If you are at least a lower-mediate level skier/boarder, you can ski out right to the lift. Or walk to either one. Or if you don’t feel like walking either, Heavenly and all other shuttles stop right in our parking lot and drop you off in front of the Stagecoach chair, and so you don’t have to either walk or drive and look for parking, if you don’t want to. At the end of the day those same free Heavenly shuttles will bring you back from any of the 4 Heavenly bases - Gondola, California side (Gunbarrel/Tram), Boulder or Stagecoach - or from downtown where all the dining, shopping and casinos are - right back to our doorsteps and drop you off in our parking lot!

When your car is buried under 8 ft of snow and you want to hit the slopes in the morning instead of wasting the best first hour of skiing digging it out of snow and then having to deal with the parking situation on a powder day - this is just where you want to be!

Even if you're flying into Reno, you can forget about driving if you want to: take a shuttle from the Reno airport to downtown South Lake Tahoe and then up the hill right to our doorsteps (regular service).

Restaurant & Bar, Mini Mart, Ski Rentals - all just a short downhill walk from us; no need to drive anywhere at all!

And yet we are on a private cul-de-sac street that dead-ends into wilderness with giant pines, boulders and hills all blanketed in snow during the winter. This is the absolute quickest way to the very top of all ski runs and chairlifts. A secret stash where all the locals go all year round

Wow! Did we have a great time :-)

  • 5 of 5

This was the 1st time in Tahoe, and it won't be the last. We hope to be back...I absolutely loved the scenery that surrounds this condo at Tahoe. It is luxurious, peaceful, and woodsy. The attention to the landscaping and the natural environment was captivating. This place is like coming home on a holiday!

Excellent location for skiing Heavenly

  • 5 of 5

If you come to ski Heavenly the location is great. I'd estimate that on a weekend day it saves more than an hour of skiing time: very short 3 min commute to/from Stagecoach lift (didn't try the ski out option), no line at the ticket window, the lift gets you up the mountain the fastest and gets you into less crowded areas. Plus spending the first night higher on the mountain gets you acclimatized better so you can ski to full potential the first day.

The condo feels cozy and has everything one needs.

Nick was very helpful with optimizing skiing day, finding good places to eat and getting around. Thanks, Nick!

I will definitely stay here again when returning to Tahoe.

great skiing!

  • 5 of 5

pretty darn close to lifts and tons of fresh snow all week because it's high, they say it's like that al the time, quite amazing for april, though. we were pretty much buried as soon as we came in, kind of like a village up there and it's cool that you can ski out to the lift. we stocked up on groceries, burning wood, etc. just once down in the valley when we arrived, there's a huge shopping center with walmart, costco, trader joes and stuff down there, and didn't have to go anywhere after that cause the place has everything else and the bar is down the street and they serve breakfast too. girls wanted to go out for some shopping and ice skating downtown, though. and us guys, we just stayed up there the whole week. skiing pretty hard all day every day, so just couch potato with beer and TV at night. we're definitely coming for another week next year. the resort is awesome! :-)

Very good place for a budget ski vacation. We stayed for 4 days in March. It was our first trip to Tahoe and Nick was very helpful providing us with the info we neded. The condo's location is excellent, it's close to everything you may need. We are planning to spent there several days at the end of the summer.
