Perfect family getaway. Ideal location for the family that likes to ski. Free shuttle bus transportation to Winter Park and Mary Jane. Beautiful year round nestled in the woods with balcony overhanging Vasquez Creek. Go to sleep listening to the babbling brook.
1.5 hours from Denver. Short drive to the Fraser Tubing Hill, Hot Sulpher Springs, Grand Lake and Rocky Mountain National Park. Enjoy nearby winter activities including snowmobile rental, snowshoeing, hayrides, horseback riding, music festivals and much more. Downtown is a short walk. Access all that Winter Park has to offer by foot or free shuttle.
The large open area features a vaulted ceiling with dining, wood fireplace, large picture windows, and a glass door to the balcony overlooking Arapaho National Forest.
Winter Park is beautiful and loaded with things to do all year long.
Using private sauna room located inside the townhome.
Adequate accomadations and locale is fabulous from the standpoint of being a 5-10 min. drive from Winter Park Ski Resort. However, don't expect a quiet, good night sleep as the train, which is SUPER CLOSE, rumbles by and blows its horn 3-4 times a night. Even being ski-weary after the day wasn't enough to keep from being awake when that happened. Kitchen and bedrooms adequate though and the place could sleep total 9 if someone slept on the couch.
Beautiful facility. Nice open space for families to be together. The river is beautiful. The balcony overlooks the river and we enjoyed listening to the sounds of nature. Very private location as it is the last condo on the path. Easy access to ski slopes. Loved the views from all the windows. We had a wonderful time.
Beautiful place and great location. The free shuttle rides to and from the ski area stops right outside the parking lot. Free internet.wifi was a blessing. Beds are comfortable. Loved the river and the soft sounds of the passing trains. Great restaurants in town. Lots of things to do for family members who are not skiers. Loved the tubing hill. Owners were very friendly and it was easy to book. We will be returning.
We were disappointed to find 2 bedrooms on lower level and a loft bedroom. From the description and pictures we thought there were 4 bedrooms. Property is in ok shape. Broken window glass in one bedroom. Window that you can't get to because of bunk beds so you couldn't enjoy the sound of the creek. They should clean out closets and fix closet doors and make dresser accessible so guests can hang up clothes. Unit is right by railroad tracks. Quite loud and the trains came through all night. There is a wonderful deck that overlooks the creek but no lawn chairs to sit on. Kitchen is well stocked and was nice to have washer and dryer. Bathrooms are in good shape. A short walk into town with a beautiful park with lots of fun things for kids. Some of these things won't matter if you're renting in winter. Owner is very nice.
30 minute drive to Hot Sulpher Springs where you can enjoy natural hot springs and spa services.
