quiet, peaceful, little cabin
A friend and I, and my little dog, spent 3 nights at the Rhubarb house. The location was very quiet and the yard was well-maintained and very large. The little gas stove heats up the place nicely, so despite being cold outside the cabin was always warm and cozy. The kitchen was well stocked with pots and pans, and cooking utensils. The hot tub was relaxing and has an amazing view of the sky and meadow. My only wish was that there was a slightly larger fridge with a freezer. Regardless, I would stay again and recommend to anyone looking for some relaxation time.
Beautiful & private
We loved our stay! House keeping arrived 30 min early while my husband was gathering our things. Made him feel uncomfortable. Grounds were beautiful and the studio was perfect for my family (2 adults, and two small kids). Hot tub wAs nice but used natural chemicals so it felt a little dirty. Overall our stay was nice and relaxing. We would stay again.
This was a very relaxing spot to call home for a few days. The wandering deer, gorgeous grounds to roam, and hot tub all made it a really special place. I'm not sure what it would have been like if there were other folks in the main house, but without anyone else around, on a cold and snowy visit, it was a haven of solitude and peace.
Incredible Romantic Getaway!!!
The Cottage is excellent, cozy, comfortable, and with all the amenities. The hot tub has beautiful views of the meadow, and the stars at night. You will lose yourself in simple pleasures and wonderful surroundings, and touring the island is a great activity for the day, and the shopping at Friday Harbor is wonderful as well. One of the best weekends of my wife and I's Lives.
Cozy, well -appointed, fantastic setting, quiet and beautiful
Wonderful place. Just right for two. Washer and dryer very helpful; gas stove kept the place toasty; hot tub clean and modern (and under the stars); property manager nearby and very helpful. Charming, well- maintained cottage with small but totally functional kitchen. Great retreat with privacy in a gorgeous setting. My only suggestions would be a few more pans and pots and a comfy reading chair or two. Otherwise: perfect!
A Vacation Rental Treasure!
For the past 2 1/2 months, I've been traveling on the West Coast, and this vacation rental on San Juan Island stands out as one of the finest. The studio sits on five acres, located just off a picturesque road that leads down to the water. The studio itself is light-filled, tastefully decorated and equipped with everything that you need. Lastly, Blythe, the manager, was efficient and timely in answering any and all of my questions.
Located on the Scenic Byway of San Juan Island. Close to Whale Watch Park , Lime Kiln State Park , Deadmans Beach and False Bay . A great location for biking and kayaking.
