About Sylvia Guzman

We have lived in the Houston area all of our lives and always loved spending time in Galveston, going to the Mardis Gras, Saturday evening 'Art Walks, 4th of July fireworks, Dickens on the Strand, fishing and just hanging out enjoying the beaches and wonderful places Galveston has to offer.

Sylvia Guzman purchased this house in 2008

Pure enjoyment for all ages - Moody Gardens, Schlitterbahn, Saturday evening 'Art Walk,' clean beaches, fun fishing, water sports, ghost tours, restaurants, coffee shops, antiquing and great resale shops. It's about a 30 minute drive to NASA and the Kemah Boardwalk.

Paradise island resort

We loved our stay at the hidden gem!!! So close to everything , but not the noise. Plenty of room for everyone and loved the porches to sit on at nite. I highly recommend this beautiful house to every one looking to stay in Galveston. I would stay at it again when we visit there in the future.

Very nice guest house centrally located in the middle of Galveston

  • 4 of 5

Property was as advertised. Sylvia was very responsive and professional. We had 3 couples staying and it worked out great. Kitchen was well stocked for us to cook breakfasts. Front porch swing was a hit. Easy access and parking. Recommended and we'll stay there again in the future.

A hidden gem indeed!

  • 5 of 5

Loved our stay for a family Thanksgiving in this beautiful Victorian era home! The house is well restored, comfortably furnished, and had plenty of room for the 6 adults (2 couples and 2 singles) in our gathering. It definitely made a wonderful home base for a great holiday visit to the whole Galveston area. We would certainly stay here again if family schedules permit.
