WANT TO GET AWAY? Reeds Beach allows you the peace and quiet not found at any of the jersey shore resorts. Just off rt 47 approx. 18 mi. north of Cape May, this waterfront village is situated on a single lane with the beautiful Delaware Bay on one side, and world famous bird watching wetlands on the other. There are no beach tags here and your favorite pooch can frolic in the bay without leash or hassle.
We have finally completed the total rennovation of our beautiful waterfront home inside and out. Everything (including appliances) is brand new. Enjoy panoramic views of the bay not only from your living/dining areas but also from your pillow on the king size bed in the upstairs master bedroom. Early risers will be treated to a beautiful sunrise from their upstairs bedroom on the meadow side. Your comfort is assured with our newly installed central a/c, or let the numerous ceiling fans draw in the bay breeze. On our wraparound deck you can soak up the sun or try your luck crabbing or fishing for flounder, weakfish, blues or striped bass that reach up to 40 lbs. Prefer shade? The westerly breezes will cool you in the comfort of our recently added screened porch. The sunsets from our deck are spectacular as you can see from the pictures. There is a marina, boat launch, and fishing jetty within walking distance. Bring your boat, kayak, windsurfer and any other beach toys as there is plenty of off street parking and a large shed for storage.
If you should fancy the occasional trip to the Oceanside, the beaches at Stone Harbor/Avalon are a scenic 15 minute ride away. Fine dining and unique shopping boutiques can be found in the historic Victorian village of Cape May 20 minutes to our south. For the kids, the Wildwood boardwalk with arcades, water parks and amusement rides is 20 minutes east.
For those who like to step out for the night life, Wildwood has numerous bars and nightclubs with many offering live bands. A short drive up the parkway, Atlantic City offers casino gambling and world class bands and entertainers.
So come enjoy the sunsets in our little slice of paradise, and don't forget to bring pooch.
