Our beautiful waterfront home is located on a short canal, which leads to the mouth of the Jordan River. Our home was totally restored in 2008. It features rich pine walls and ceilings, and multiple balconies and porches, for viewing our spectacular sunsets. Each of the three bedrooms is equipped with a queen size bed for your comfort. If you enjoy cooking, you will find a well equipped kitchen to make your stay easier. There is also an abundance of fresh seafood available year round.
Our house has a private dock which will accommodate almost any boat. There is ample room to store your boat trailer. You will be only a short boat ride away from the unspoiled barrier islands of the Gulf of Mexico, or the wilderness areas found along the pristine Jordan River, and its bayous. The fishing is great all year. You will find miles and miles of waterways that are perfect for waterskiing and jet skiing. There are also public beaches and fishing piers that are accessible by land.
If you enjoy golf, you will be only 5 minutes from The Bridges, an Arnold Palmer championship golf course. Diamondhead Country Club, with two more championship courses open to the public, is only 15 minutes away. There are many other championship and great courses open year round along the Mississippi Gulf Coast.
If you enjoying gaming, the Hollywood Casino is located on the Bridges property. It offers live entertainment, concerts, and good food. You will also find many other casinos all across the Mississippi Gulf Coast. Each is unique, and offers many different things for your entertainment.
Historic Bay St. Louis offers great shopping and restaurants, with cuisine rivaling New Orleans, at affordable prices.
Come on down, bring your boat, your clubs and your family and lose yourself in our quiet, uncomplicated world.
We are Ann & Ray Cooley. We live in Wiggins, Ms. We have been enjoying Bay St. Louis since we purchased the house next door in 1996. After Katrina we purchased this house and completely restored it. We use it primarily as a guest house for our family and friends. We enjoy fishing, crabbing, boating and golf. I have a dental practice in Wiggins and use the house next door as a weekend retreat. I will be glad to share with you any information about where the fish are biting.
The Owner purchased this house in 2006
Bay St. Louis offers everything we enjoy doing. The fishing and boating are great! Bay St. Louis is over 300 years old, older than New Orleans. It is filled with history, artists and antiques. It offers something for the entire family to enjoy.
50' foot dock and covered boat stall. Easy access to Gulf of Mexico, and inland streams and bayous. Quiet dead end street. Well stocked kitchen.
We stayed for the month of August 2015. The location is outstanding, close to everything with open water access. Anna and Ray were wonderful to us. The house was well stocked with everything we needed including cooking supplies, utensils, grill, cleaning supplies, linens etc. They even let us use the canoe. The porch was a wonderful place to hangout after a long day. Neighborhood is very quiet and walkable with little traffic. If I'm ever in need of a place to stay I will definitely put this place on top of my list. My only regret is I didn't have a boat while on this great canal!
We had a great vacation. The house was very comfortable. Enjoyed sitting on the deck. (Coming from WI it was so nice to be outdoors in March). Ann and Ray were great, we now consider them friends! Planning on going back next year
We stayed here in March of 2012. Very clean and well maintained. The owners are great to work with and we hope to come back someday. We came to Bay St. Louis from South Padre island and the beaches wereso much better and the water was actually warm. Thank you Ray and Anne.
