This place is exactly as described-charming, clean, and cozy. I really appreciated how comfortable the master bedroom (only one we used) is from the decorations to the mattress to the high quality sheets and blankets to how dark it is for sleeping. The kitchen was well stocked and had all the tools I needed to cook meals and store the left overs. A funny thing about the kitchen-the lights have skylights over them. I thought I was going crazy because I couldn’t figure out how to turn the kitchen lights off the first day we left the house. Because I can’t leave a room without flipping the lights off I was freaking out just a little. I finally texted Nancy and we got it figured out. I didn’t realize skylights produce that much light. The water pressure is almost too good, if that’s possible. I loved the carport which will be extra nice in the summer. So much thought was put into every little detail here and the results are great. I love all the art work, lamps, flowers and furniture. Because it was winter we didn’t spend time in the back yard, which is just as charming as the rest of the house. I will definitely stay here again when I am back in Las Cruces to visit my dad, who happens to live one block away.

Cute Casita

  • 4 of 5

After a small scare about our reservation being lost (everything was worked out), my husband and I had a great time staying here. Having a full kitchen and laundry was great to have. The house is centrally located and we could get anywhere is about 15 minutes. We tried a lot of the local restaurants that were recommended in the information book and weren't disappointed in any of them.

Great property for 1 or 2 people

Great place to stay. Owner very easy to work with

Only gave a 5 star as there is a train track close by that woke us up several times each night. Not the owners fault for sure, but takes away a little from the property

Outstanding Stay

  • 5 of 5

I have had the pleasure of staying in the Adobe Casita in each of the last three years. Each stay has been wonderful. The community is quiet and peaceful. The home’s amenities make it the perfect get away spot. Nancy has done an exceptional job of meeting all of my needs with each stay. I would recommend the Adobe Casita if you are looking for a restful break from the routine.
