Guestbook comments from the owner

Vacations are great to look forward too, when they get here they seem to come to an end faster than we want. This has been the greatest 5 days. The fun seeing things in town, shopping, The Stampede. Going to the Biltmore in Ashville, the Choo Choo in Chattanooga.

Coming back to the beauty of this cabin, the serenity that is to be found has made for a very full, filling and happy time for all.

Thank you for providing a touch of PARADISE!

Amazing

  • 5 of 5

This was perfect for our weekend get away. It has a warm cozy feeling. I highly recommended this home for anyone looking to get away. More than enough space and luxury. We will stay here again in the future.

Secluded, Beautiful!

  • 5 of 5

Absolutely beautiful. We have stayed in many cabins in the Pigeon Forge area over the years but this one ranked at the very top! Roomy, very clean, all the comforts of home. With 2 bedrooms and 2 jacuzzi tubs the price was way more reasonable than any of the competition. The owners were very quick to respond to our messages and even put off their own stay in the cabin to accommodate us booking an additional night. I highly recommend Applachian Joy to anyone looking for a private getaway! Hope to return very soon.

Exceeded Expectations

  • 5 of 5

There were 4 adults, and our 2 year old son who stayed in this cabin. It was so beautiful, very well taken care of, clean, and we were beyond impressed with our stay here. Also, the pictures make the rooms look a little smaller than they really are. There is plenty of space! The owners of the cabin made sure that we were taken care of, and the kitchen really did have just about anything that you could have needed.

As a side note, the last street, as well as the driveway up to the cabin are somewhat steep. The only time I can see that maybe being a problem is if it has snowed.

It was close enough to Gatlinburg (approx. 20 minutes) that you can go into town for something and come back if you need to. We explored the town, stayed in the cabin one day, and drove through the Smoky Mountains another day. It was seriously a very enjoyable trip!

PEREFCT cabin!

  • 5 of 5

I've been renting cabins in the Smoky Mountains for years so I know what makes it a great one and this was it. The cabin was one of the cleanest I have ever seen and in good condition too. I know these cabins can get rough treatment but clearly this one is well-cared for. I had the upper bedroom which is a very large loft with a spa tub. What I really liked was the ceiling fan in the loft and in the living room which helped to keep the loft area cool. The beds were SOOOO comfortable. Semi-firm which is the way I like them and thankfully, NO SQUEEKS! There were plenty of linens and even toilet paper and paper towels. Most often you have to go buy those yourself if you stay more than overnight. The furniture in the living room was very comfortable and almost coaxed me into a nap after a long day of traveling in the cove. The screened porch was great in the evenings and the spa was really warm!! The owners are very nice and we had great communication.

Oh, just a tip... when returning to the cabin from a day out, come in from Dollywood Lane area where the roads are all wide enough for two cars to pass.

This is a great place. Don't hesitate to rent it.

Perfect Getaway!

  • 5 of 5

My husband and I took our teenage granddaughter and her bestie for a getaway to The Smokies and this cabin was a dream! They took the loft bedroom and it was so nice for them to have their own bathroom and space. They spent plenty of time in the hot tub while we enjoyed the quiet! The kitchen was very well-equipped with any item you might need to prepare a meal. We didn't cook a lot but the meals we did have in the cabin went off without a hitch because it was so well-stocked. Everything was exactly as it was described and we are already planning our next trip back. Thanks Lori for such a streamlined process. It was a pleasure to enjoy your property and we plan to come back soon! This cabin is not secluded but the woods between you and your neighbors and the placement of the back porch, give plenty of privacy. We loved it!
