About Kevin Soler
Hi, we are Kevin and Debbie Soler and our goal is to make your stay at our vacation homes exceptional. Also pictured is our niece who loves visiting us in Cape May. She especially loves the Cape May County Zoo and the Horse & Carriage Tours in the downtown area. We are also parents to two small dogs; Smokey, a poodle/daschund mix that we rescued in Arizona and Marco, a toy poodle who rules the roost. All of us love exploring Cape May and you may see us walking around town on your visit to one of our fantastic homes. We love the beach and the ocean and our entire family has fond memories of time spent in Cape May and all the nearby oceanside communities including Wildwood, Stone Harbor, Sea Isle City, Ocean City and the many towns in between. Visit Cape May and we guarantee that you and your family will create your own fond memories and if you have any questions about Cape May or our homes, please call or email us and we will be happy to help you in any way we can.
Kevin Soler purchased this House in 2009
Why Kevin Soler chose Historic District
There is simply no place in the USA like Cape May & West Cape May which is why we purchased this home. The history and authenticity of these two towns is fascinating. One can not help but wonder what it would have been like to live in the horse and buggy era and what it was like to "summer" at one of the grand homes reserved for the wealthy. We know you will enjoy exploring Cape May and West Cape May and our historical home and it's wonderful location is ideal for doing so.
What makes this House unique

We, however, do our best to make sure you have everything you need starting with new and comfortable beds, bedding, furniture, pillows, blankets, fully equipped kitchens, hand soap, laundry pods, dryer sheets, dishwasher tablets, sink soap, trash bags, cleaning supplies, beach cruiser bikes, a beach box stocked with beach equipment; beach chairs, blankets, umbrella and optional linen service if you need it. Just bring your toiletries, flip flops and dinner clothes and you are all set for a relaxing and fabulous vacation. If you plan on returning to our cottage year after year, it is best to let us know as far in advance as possible and we will do our best to hold your same rental period for the following year. very nice house, loved the front porch
was hot on 3rd floor, (tough to get comfortable)should have queen bed on 3rd floor so that you can handle 4 couples,
Thanks for enjoying our cottage. If a special need or issue arises, always call me and I will do my best to take care of it. Or when I stop by to say hello, I will provide an instant fix if possible. If you need a 4th couple's sleeping area, we can make a king bed on the third floor by simply moving the twin beds together providing more space than a queen bed would. This third floor area is usually utilized by the younger family members utilizing the single beds. Controls for the AC/heat are on the 2nd floor keeping both floors nice and cool or warm and toasty in the fall and spring chills.
Once again, perfection!
My family and I rented this beautiful home for our niece's wedding at Congress Hall. I had rented this place five years ago, the exact same time of year, to celebrate my retirement with my friends. We loved it then, and we loved it now!! My family really liked gathering together on the pretty front porch, particularly after the wedding to talk about all the fun we had! Also, taking rides on the bicycles through the streets of Cape May was really neat! Thank you, Kevin, for your attentiveness to all our needs! Once again, we have lots of wonderful memories, staying in your gorgeous home! 😊
We would love to have you and your family return to our cottage for your Cape May visits. We will provide you and your family with bikes, beach chairs, umbrella, beach carts even a Beach Box from Memorial Day to Labor Day, sometimes a little longer. You will love it here!
Kevin is simply the best landlord that there could ever be! 116 3rd Avenue was once again perfect!!!!!!
Beautiful cottage with everything we needed for the perfect vacation
This was our second time at the cottage, we love it. Easy walk to the beach and town, we can't wait to come back!
very convenient to everything and yet away from the crowds
This was our 3rd stay at 116 Third Avenue and enjoyed being with the family as all members could stay together.
Bikes,beach box an added plus
This was our second time staying at 116 Third Avenue. The house was spotless when we arrived. In fact, it was ready before the 2:00 pm check in. Kevin even called my cell phone to let us know that the house was ready early. This house has everything you can imagine for a comfortable stay. Plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms, central air, a television in just about every room, modern appliances, bikes, a beach box with all the beach items, seating for eight at the kitchen table, three porches and ample parking. You name it, this house has it. You can walk everywhere too. On top of everything else, Kevin is always friendly, accessible and very helpful. When we couldn't get the grill to light, he was right there to show us the safety lockout feature. He came by the very next day to replace the igniter. Talk about service!! We enjoyed our stay immensely and had a great week weather wise. We certainly hope to go back again. We love Cape May and 116 Third Avenue.
Thanks for staying at our cottage. We offer several cottages to our guests, this cottage that sleeps up to 12, a one bedroom rear cottage that sleeps up to 4 and a very large beach block cottage that sleeps up to 22. Email or Facebook me anytime to find out more about our cottages. Thanks, Kevin.

Shop, dine, relax - one visitor remarks - "Charming outside mall with a beautiful fountain. Many boutiques, hand made soap shop, toy store, Whales Tale gift shop, Christmas shop, Scandinavian store, lots of cool clothing stores and jewelry stores, sweet shops, art gallery and much more. Enjoy eating casual or dressier at some of the restaurants on the mall. Lots of seating areas. A must go when in Cape May. Shops are open very late in the summer and weekends during peak season. Quaint and charming Victorian flair decor."** **Cape May Trolley Tours - Your narrator will explain the town's history. Two trolley tours, the Mansions by the Sea and Historic Cape May are both excellent introductions to the unbelievably lovely town of Cape May.** **Cape May Carriage Company - Enjoy an evening ride through the historic part of our town. The carriage rides are a great way to see Cape May. ** **World War II Lookout Tower - Stairs take you from level to level & you will find them easy to traverse. Another highlight is the watch room where you can view the sunken concrete ship, Atlantus, through the azimuth instrument. There are a few different uniforms on exhibit. The soldiers had a small lounge with a potbelly stove which was their only heat source in the tower. After visiting the tower, down the street is Sunset Beach. Visit for an up close view of the ship.
