About Teresa's Beach Homes- Terri

Owners of Aloha House, Husband and wife team Jim and Maureen live in River Falls, Wisconsin - and they both work for the same Company in St. Paul, MN. They have two adult children and 3 grandchildren (so far). Travel and vacation with family has always been a personal priority, and a requirement for their careers. In fact, they both took on an international assignment based in Shanghai, China, and traveled extensively throughout Asia. With their combined love for travel, sugar white beaches and calm blue waters, they decided to pursue one of their ultimate dreams, and bought a wonderful beach house on Cape San Blas.

Teresa's Beach Homes- Terri purchased this house in 2013

Why Teresa's Beach Homes- Terri chose Florida Main North West

Cape San Blas is known for its clear, sometimes blue, sometimes green water and low, gentle surf. The pace is slower, and it's family oriented. St. Joseph State Park is nearby, and was ranked America's #1 Beach and Best Park. The park is a great place to rent a small boat or canoe and do some fishing, or take advantage of the hiking trails. You can stay on the beach or play in the bay.

What makes this house unique

This ocean-front property is unique because it faces west, offering a magnificent view of the sunsets. It has a screened in porch on the lower-level, and a private balcony for the master suite. It's spacious, and is constantly being updated to ensure you have a comfortable and relaxing vacation.

Guestbook comments from the manager

Guest has commented that the water is still all clear, beach is great and the weather has been hot and no issues other than your typical summer at the Cape so far.

WOW ! What a great time !

  • 5 of 5

Cozy and comfy !! Our family vacation was absolutely fantastic. Fishing, crabbing, walking, shelling and fun in the sun.

My grandchildren loved the adventure at the beach. The wildlife was so beautiful to see in it's natural setting.

The sunsets were breathtaking every evening. Our day trip to Apalachicola was so much fun. The town and shopping was a real treat. Lunch at Up the Creek was great for the whole family. The outdoor eating was breezy and delightful. My daughter and Son in Law went back to The Owl for their anniversary dinner and gave rave reviews on the food, atmosphere, and service. Being as we ate in every meal St. Joes Shrimp Co was our shopping destination for all our fresh seafood. Such a lovely and welcoming place. My husband and I went to the State Park and explored. We wish we had another week to stay so we could have spent more time in the park and bay area. The loft in the house was so much fun for the kids and great for the adults too. Scallop Cove fills beer growlers with local brew. We really enjoyed getting to taste and try the different brews. The donut shop down by the Trading Post is a must. Such delicious treats. Get there early they sell out fast ! The Trading Post had anything we needed so we really never had to leave Cape San Blas. It is a 17 mile slice of heaven. My grandchildren loved the bike trail and took a long long ride with their mother and father. Theresa's Vacation Beach Rentals was so helpful. We had to change houses due to my oldest daughter canceling at the last minute. They assisted me with a new house in no time. We all agree we are coming back for more vacations at Cape San Blas !!

Lovely inside and out!

  • 5 of 5

Such a fun house! The kids loved the loft, and the other bedrooms and common areas were great. During the day, if we weren't on the beach, we were living on the screened-in porch, enjoying the breeze and listening to the waves, usually with a drink or two and some fresh guacamole. Port St. Joe isn't far, and Apalachicola was a neat day-trip (highly recommend "The Owl" and "Oyster City Brewing Company"). We loved our visit to the Forgotten Coast, can't wait to return next year, and only need to decide whether it'll be for one week or two.

Exceptional location, beautifully decorated, and very cozy

  • 5 of 5

Our stay at Aloha House was wonderful. We enjoyed the well-equipped house, from the well-stocked kitchen to the beach cart. The proximity of the house to the beach is spectacular, as it is only a short walk to get to the sugar white sands and the emerald green water. The house is also a short distance to the Trading Post or the Scallop Cove Gas station; we often just rode our bikes to get ice and other supplies. The screen porch was a great place for our furry children to dry off and also a great place for us to sit and enjoy the scenery. Teresa and Terri are also very helpful. We have been coming to the Cape regularly for 5 years now, and we always try to rent from Teresa's Beach Homes because, from my experience with renting, they are the best. No one would be disappointed with staying at Aloha House.

Aloha house is Wonderful!

  • 5 of 5

My family of 7 and two dogs all loved our stay at Aloha. The gulf waters are gorgeous and the sunsets are magnificent from the screened in porch. The beds were comfortable as was the furniture and the kitchen well equipped. It is obvious this house is well maintained and I loved the balance of durable and elegant in the décor. The service provided by Terri and Teresa as they answered our various questions and concerns as we booked our house was so warm and honest. Their responses were quick and thorough. We have rented thru various companies for the last 20 years of vacationing in the area, and I think we will always choose Teresa's Beach Homes in the future.

Stay at The Aloha

  • 5 of 5

We have stayed in one of Teresa's Beach Homes, The Aloha, and have been delighted with everything. The house is always immaculate and Teresa and Terri are wonderful. The house was exactly as described which is always important on your first stay. We stayed during Spring break and are in the process of booking another one of her homes for next year. I would highly recommend you book with her.
