This two bedroom fully-furnished condominium is located in Truman Annex, a private and quiet gated community of Private homes and condominium complexes within two blocks of Duval Street, five blocks of Mallory Square, and walking distance to Fort Zachary Taylor State Park and Beach.

This is our second home, which has been renovated with a new kitchen, new bathroom vanity, cabinet and tile floor, carpeted stairs and bedrooms, window treatments, ceiling fans and fresh paint, as well as being redecorated with high quality furnishings. One bedroom has a queen bed and the other bedroom has two twin beds, both with luxury mattresses and bedding, and a 22” LCD TV. This second-floor condominium has a shaded front porch balcony and new Anderson French Doors off the living room that open to the sunny rear deck. The living room is comfortable and features a 40” LCD HDTV and Blu-ray player.

Rentals are in weekly increments, Sat-Sat. Minimum age limit for renters. This is a nonsmoking unit. Sorry, we cannot allow pets. Security Deposit may be higher for Holidays, Festivals and Special Events.

Once you provide us your booking information (Guests names, addresses, home & cell phone numbers) we email you a lease to sign and return within 5 business days with an initial payment of 50% of the price by personal or bank check. WE DO NOT ACCEPT MONEY ORDERS.

Once we receive your signed lease with the initial payment your reservation is confirmed for the lease dates. No later than 60 days prior to check-in you must send the balance of payment (50% of the price plus the security deposit).

If the lease is sent to you less than 60 days prior to check-in then the full payment, consisting of the total price plus security deposit, is due with the signed lease within the 5 business days by personal or bank check. If the lease is sent less than 30 days prior to check-in then the full payment, consisting of the total price plus security deposit, is due with the signed lease within the 2 business days by bank check only. WE DO NOT ACCEPT MONEY ORDERS.

The condo is located within just a few blocks of Truman's Little White House, Mallory Square with it's famous Sunset Celebration, Hemmingway's House, Key West Lighthouse, and Fort Zachary Taylor State Park & Beach. Our favorite restaurant is La Trattoria with its Virgilio's Martini Bar in the back. As an alternative we favor Caroline's Cafe to enjoy their 'Famous Fish Sandwich' or 'Salad Deluxe'. We never miss 'Sound Check' at the Green Parrot Bar every Friday. Recently we have enjoyed a night out at the Little Room Jazz Bar during Happy Hour and the new Key West Pub.

Why the Owner Chose Truman Annex, Key West, FL, USA:
We have vacationed in Key West since first coming in 1999, staying every time in a Truman Annex Shipyard Condo. We loved it so much that we decided to buy our second home here in late 2009 as we plan for retirement in the not to distant future (We hope!). The Shipyard Condominium is a well maintained, secure, and tranquil community yet it is located only two blocks from famous Duval Street with all of it's shopping, restaurants and nightlife, five blocks from Mallory Square with it's famous Sunset Celebration and a short walk or bike ride to Fort Zachary State Park & Beach.

The Unique Benefits at this Condo:
The front balcony is a great place to people watch while having a cup of coffee in the morning or a wine later in the day. And our sunny back deck offers privacy and lush greenery for a dinner with family or friends, or just to lounge and read a book.
