My unit faces the ocean and looks North toward the Ritz. This North side of the complex has better views! There is a window and in every room--very light naturally.

The Beachcomber is the newest, most luxurious location on 7-mile Beach. We have an 80 ft pool, 2 hot tubs/Jacuzzi, BBQ grills on the beach, 2 cabana beach huts in the sand, first class workout facility, underground parking, is located convenient to all the shops, grocery, restaurants, and friendly management and staff. My 3rd floor unit is only one of two corner units, out of the 40, that have both a screened in porch AND a sundeck facing the water!

This unit is in the most unique location in the Beachcomber complex. It is a corner unit 3rd floor with a view looking directly on the beach and looking North up the beach toward the Ritz. It has elevator access right out the front door. The views are not only from the porch, but also the living room, kitchen and 2 bedrooms. My unit, sits on the 3rd floor, which is the only floor with a optional screened in porch and an additional sun patio that runs the length of the unit. Privacy, sunset views, and dining on this porch.

To make your stay more enjoyable, this Hi-tech unit provides a notebook PC to compliment the free high speed fibre optic WiFi for Internet access and a free phone for US and Canada calling (magic jack) in or out for guest’s use. My family stayed at the Beachcomber from 4/24-5/1/11 and it was incredible. I worked with Danielle to book the unit and also to register. She was a pleasure to work with, even when she had to come to the office to register us on Easter Day! She was eager to help with directions and other questions during our stay and always had a smile on her face. I'd also like to compliment the housekeeping staff. They did a great job and were so friendly that I actually looked forward to seeing them each day. This unit exceeded my expectations. It was absolutely beautiful and the location was perfect. Thank you again for providing us with a wonderful vacation that will always be fondly remembered.

Amazing corner Unit 17 right on beautiful 7 Mile Beach!!

THIS is the condo you want to rent!! This updated condo has everything you could want. The view of the beach is extended by the corner unit windows which are across the balcony and then up the side of the living room offering an unbroken view of paradise. The balcony is one of the condo's best features. Plenty of room for your family to have meals outside or relax and listen to the surf. My favorite use of the balcony was having coffee every morning outside. What an amazing way to wake up every day!

We had the great fortune to meet the owner of Unit 17 and he could not have been a nicer man. You will not have any problems if you need to correspond as he is very good at responding!

The condo features granite, all the cooking utensils you could need, new furniture, a television in each room, Alexa (Amazon's answer to Siri), Free (super fast) WiFi and a Magic Jack phone for free calls to the U.S. just in case you have to call back home.

The location of this condo is perfect!! Not only is it steps from the beach, but it is also within walking distance to the grocery, bars, bar and grills and shopping. You could truly get by without a car if you choose and are ok with a little walking. We made a few trips to the grocery on foot and made many meals rather than eating out all the time. It was perfect!

There was a problem with the hall bathroom door not latching. When I brought that to the attention of the front office, it was fixed immediately. And by that, I mean the maintenance man was in and out with the job completed within 30 minutes of my mentioning it!

We spent our days on the beach. There are multiple chairs and we never had to worry about not having one. The beach huts were also a welcome respite when we had enough sun and needed shade. There are two hot tubs that we used at night, perfect for winding down before bed, and an infinity pool long enough to get your laps in if you wish. The pool is shaded in the afternoon so it is great if you want to play with your kids and get out of the afternoon sun. If you enjoy afternoon sun, the beach is the place for you! The surf is usually so gentle that you can paddleboard. There are places within walking distance to rent jet skis, ride a banana boat or parasail. Your vacation can be as active or inactive as you choose.

You will never rent a different place once you have experienced the beauty and location of Beachcomber's Unit 17!!

Doesn't get any better than this.

We were fortunate enough to stay in Unit 17 at the Beachcomber this past February and couldn't have been happier. The elevator to the unit drops you directly in front of the condo.

The condo is stunning inside, but especially out! This unit has the best views in the complex and one of the largest decks replete with comfortable outdoor furniture to sit in and enjoy your coffee in the mornings and your evening drinks watching the most unbelievable sunsets.

Some of the best snorkeling is right out in front of the condo, we saw every kind of fish you can imagine, including turtles and a resident barracuda. Supermarket and liquor store are directly across the street and there are many restaurants within walking distance if you decide not to use the well outfitted kitchen and outdoor barbecue.

Communications with the owners was excellent and they have free phone service to the USA and many other extras you won't find elsewhere. If you are staying on Seven Mile Beach the Beachcomber's Unit 17 is where you want to be.

Stop looking, start booking.

If Grand Cayman is your destination, no need to look further than this great condo. After several vacations on the island, we decided at the last minute to book this corner unit in the Beachcomber. Our first time at the Beachcomber, we'd only spotted it walking past and noticed it did have the nicest pool on this stretch of 7-Mile Beach. This corner unit is exactly as described and the pictures of the condo are spot on. Honestly with all units in the Beachcomber having a balcony I didn't think the special extended patio would be such a big deal, but I have to say I had a change of heart after experiencing it! The balcony was magnificent and we enjoyed morning coffee and especially evening sunsets and cocktails there with plenty of room for the whole family. Mike, the owner, was friendly and very easy to deal with and so was the office staff at the Beachcomber (Amanda was fantastic and check-in was super easy). Everything we needed for our vacation was in the unit; towels, linens, all kitchen items, toiletries, pool and beach floats and even a few snorkel items (though I'd bring my own if you have them). We found some suntan lotions and other sundry items probably left by earlier guests as I left some laundry soap and a few first aid items. The location is great and really no need for a car. There is a Food Pantry across the street, as well as a small strip mall with a liquor store (all closed on Sunday), and there are several restaurants within walking distance including the #1 rated Sunshine Sweets Grill. Cabs can easily be called to travel a bit further for excursions or restaurants. I'll definitely book this unit again, if I can find some open dates. I've used VRBO several times and I have to say this was my most pleasant experience so far! No need to hesitate.

“7 Mile BeachComber - Comfortable Luxury in Paradise”

Fantastic corner unit, with surrounding glass windows for a panoramic view of the beautiful beaches. We have travelled all over the Caribbean and 7 mile beach is the best. We saw 3 "Green Flashes" this week so absolutely perfect sunsets from the balcony. The unit is beautifully decorated in a clean refreshing tropical decor. WIFI everywhere, free calling to the U.S., great selection of movies, big screen TV'S, and a great blender for Piña coladas. We spent every morning snorkeling right out in front on the Beachcomber Reef and saw stingrays, turtles, eels, lobster, and every kind of tropical fish. We love the Beachcomber.

Elegance by the sea

Be prepared for the most incredible sunset that you will ever see!

The condo was more than we expected in its size, location, quality, amenities and decor. It truly is equipped and decorated with high end, comfortable furnishings. This unit is uniquely located on the third floor on a corner which allowed for an extended patio and better view which we really enjoyed. You had a an excellent view of the town where you could watch cruise ships arriving and departing the harbor and you had a clear view of the vanishing pool, beach, ocean and the spectacular sunsets each evening.This condo is ideally situated on Seven Mile beach so taking a morning or evening walk seems like you have your own private beach. The water is fantastic and we snorkeled directly out from the condo and saw a turtle, a ray and all types of fish. We used the pool which is a beautiful design but we also love swimming in the sea... both were terrific. This was the nicest condo that we have ever stayed in and will hopefully return someday.

The staff was excellent and extremely helpful which made our trip more enjoyable and easier to explore the island, even providing the rental car recommendation was a great help as these folks went out of their way to assist us as well.

We had a fantastic time and thoroughly enjoyed the Beachcomber and would highly recommend this resort. The Beachcomber, in my opinion is the best place to be on Grand Cayman.

Wonderful Stay in Cayman!

Mike and the ladies at the front desk were extremely pleasant to work with, during the booking process, upon arrival, and during our stay.

We were extremely surprised when we got into the unit we found it was nicer than pictured! We had a few minor issues but when brought to the attention of the staff at beachcomber they were fixed while we were out or at the beach. The view was outstanding and location was perfect. We were far enough from the bigger resorts on the beach to have little traffic in front of our condo but not too far to walk down for a jet ski ride.

We thoroughly enjoyed our trip! We went to sting ray city, did the bioluminescent tour from rum point, went to the grand old house, the warf, and sunshine grill! My boyfriend and I got engaged at grand old house and it was perfect! The food was absolutely outstanding to say the least!

When we return to Cayman eventually we will definitely seek out Mike and the beachcomber!
