Beautiful views inside and out from this gorgeous 3rd floor oceanfront condo at Ocean House in Indian River Plantation on Hutchinson Island , the sailfish capital of the world. A complete remodel from top to bottom. EVERYTHING is brand new with the exception of kitchen cabinets and granite kitchen counter tops which had already been remodeled.

New tile floors in the entire condo, except for the bedrooms , which have new carpeting. New master and guest bath custom cabinets with glazed finish and soft close doors. New granite tops on both sets of cabinets, new sinks, and new high end plumbing and light fixtures. New master bath walk in 4 x 6 ft fully tiled shower with high end shower fixtures and heavy glass shower door. Walk-in closet in master bedroom has built-in storage. New overhead lighting in master bath provides all the light you need. Guest bath has new tub/shower combo with tiled shower and tiled wainscoting around the entire bath room. Guest room has new carpet and built-in shelving in the closet as well. The fully stocked Kitchen has brand new stainless steel appliances including Bosch super quiet dishwasher.

In this beautifully redone condo, you have ocean views from your living room, master bedroom and balcony,and golf views from your eat-in kitchen. Plantation shutters throughout the condo for privacy when you need it.

At night listen to the waves from the family room or master bedroom that each have brand new sliders opening to the balcony-all with ocean views. OR, watch TV on the brand new Samsung 55" Super HD 4K "curved" TV in the family room with a Samsung "curved" sound bar for surround tv sound or that you can stream music to via blue tooth. All on top of a brand new entertainment center. Also there is a newer Samsung 40" HD TV in the Master bedroom, and a 32" HD TV in the guest bedroom.

The Master bedroom/master bath are at the back of the condo,off the family room, both facing the ocean while the guest bedroom and guest bath are at the front of the condo, down a short hallway off the foyer. As you enter this hallway from the foyer, there is a pocket door that can be closed, creating a private retreat for your guests. The doors to the guest bath and guest bedroom both open to this hallway,so when the pocket door is closed, your guests can travel back and forth between the guest bath and guest bedroom without being visible from the rest of the condo.

The guest bedroom has 2 twin beds and a closet with built-in storage and a dresser.


Additionally there is a reserved COVERED attached parking spot for your use. No need to walk out in the open elements - you walk from your car to the condo front door completely under cover.

Fabulous condo... Fantastic owner... A+++

We have nothing but positive to say about our stay at 305N Oceanhouse! The condo itself is beautiful...tastefully decorated, fully equipped, and well maintained. High quality... from appliances to linens and everything in between! The kitchen is well stocked with the pots and pans you would have at your own home... nothing cheap. The furniture and bedding is very comfortable and the newly renovated bathrooms are great. Views of pool and ocean are fantastic! The owner, Art, is very responsive and kind, quickly answering any questions that we had. There were NO problems with this well maintained condo, but, if there had been a problem, I am confident that Art would have been quick to resolve. Indian River Plantation is a great place for vacation and we highly recommend this condo in particular. We certainly hope to go back! Thank you, Art!

Ocean House Condo Rental

Our experience at this condo was very enjoyable. The renovations are just beautiful and very easy to care for. The kitchen is well equipped and easy to work in. The bathrooms are very nice and have lots of cabinet space. The showers are easily cleaned. Flooring throughout is also easy to keep clean. The view from the balcony of the pool area and ocean is wonderful. Very relaxing and quiet, listening to the calm ocean waves. The location is convenient to most shopping,recreational activities and restaurants. I would recommend this condo and this area to anyone who would like a peaceful vacation and relaxation. The external property is well maintained as well. You can enjoy beautiful sunrises and sunsets.

Any problems I have incurred with the property the owner has responded immediately and has rectified the issue as soon as possible. Upon arrival the property is cleaned as if no one had been in it. Very, very nice. As stated above I would recommend this property to anyone who wants a relaxing atmosphere in a very well maintained environment.

This is our third time staying at Art's condo. We love the breathtaking ocean views and proximity to Stuart. The condo has been beautifully renovated with new appliances, and tile floors and the master shower is awesome! We enjoyed the new curved tv from the comfort of leather sofas. We know this rental is kept in pristine condition and we enjoy the feeling of being "home" while we are there. The owner accommodating and responsive to requests by guests. We look forward to returning again.

Gorgeous newly rennovated oceanfront condo

We were very fortunate to be the first to rent this beautiful unit for six weeks after it was completely rennovated. We have rented several IRP units through the years and found this to be TOP OF THE LINE when it comes to beachfront living! Wherever we looked it was obvious that the owner put a lot of pride and thought into the decor and wanted to make his guests feel welcome and pampered. The colors on the walls, the artwork throughout, the gorgeous floor tiles~~just made us smile to be in such a happy place. We also appreciated all of the extras in this fully-stocked condo. The owner was very responsive and answered all of our questions immediately. He was able to recommend some wonderful restaurants and local sights/activities. We really appreciated the reserved, covered parking space; which, other properties do not offer. We highly recommend this unit without reservation.

The ocean views from the condo are breathtaking, especially at sunrise when you are sitting on the balcony with a cup of coffee! This condo is spotlessly clean, with a well equipped and organized kitchen, and very comfortable furniture. The condo and Ocean House North are meticulously maintained. The owner of the condo, Art, was very prompt answering any questions we had and also provided us with personal recommendations for restaurants and activities. We enjoyed many of Art's suggestions and look forward to completing the list in the future!

The proximity to Stuart was perfect for entertainment at the Lyric, great restaurants (try Riverwalk Cafe and Black Marlin), museums and shopping. On Hutchinson Island we enjoyed biking, walking and many outdoor activities including renting a pontoon boat at the marina to explore the inland waterway and view manatees. (a highlight!)

We would definitely recommend this condo and cannot wait to return!

I wrote the "Perfection Plus" review of this condo at the owner's request. I find nothing wrong with that and had intended to write one anyway as I did enjoy my six week stay, for the most part. Reason for this updated review:

Before leaving our home in Virginia, we received one condo key from the owner. Upon arrival we could not get the front door open and thought perhaps we had received a wrong key. Being a Sunday with no one around, we assumed a hotel for the night would be the outcome. until a solution could be found on Monday. We did continue to try pulling the door towards us as we turned the key, shaking the knob a few times, and finally it opened. BUT, always, ALWAYS we had difficulty with that door. We got used to it. Hopefully, for you if you do rent this condo, the owner will have put on a new deadbolt. Also know the mattresses in guest room tend to slide a bit. Both tubs - master and guest - are short, extremely so in the master, and both shower heads need replacing, especially in guest bath. Entertainment unit in family/main room, the right upper glass door is jammed and will not close. Owner is aware of this. I know I spoke well of books/magazines in condo but probably a good idea, if you are a real reader, to bring your own. Sliding glass doors in master bedroom - they do not slide. We tried one time and were so fearful of breakage, we never attempted to use them again. Probably some WD40 would do it. Probably some there, but we decided to just leave those sliding doors as they were. Owner does have place well supplied with most anything you would need to take care of the place, including a tool box.

Kitchen very nice and stocked with everything you would need to fix any meal. Only thing missing were dry measuring cups. I got and left them there. Made sure there were paper supplies, plastic and foil wrap, salt/pepper, dish liquid - just as was there when we arrived. Had an event with the air-conditioner leaking water, quickly repaired. Further deadbolt issue and I had to tap on with hammer (put kitchen towel under hammer) to be able to secure door. Owner quite upset about "damage". Said we have to pay. Changed mind after telephone call by us, but said "Not rent to us in future", which was degrading/hurtful. Kept his place as my own home. Not enough room to fully explain deadbolt. In spite of the end, still recommend condo - views, kitchen, furnishings - a very nice place. Owner mostly considerate man.

Owner's Response: When tenants sign a lease, we ask them to advise within 3 days of arrival of any issues with the condo, for both our and their protection. The day these renters moved in, they called and told of the glass entertainment center door not closing completely. We have had to adjust the hinges on that door in the past. He didn't want it adjusted,he just wanted us to know , and I told him not to worry.He obviously called us after being inside. There was no mention of an issue with the deadbolt,even though they had made a special call to tell us about the entertainment center. I had told the renters when they rented as I tell all the renters, that there is a full time M-F 7AM-3PM building manager on duty if they have any thing that needs to be fixed, and they can call me other times with any issues. At no time during their 6 week stay did they call me or talk to the building manager about a problem with the dead bolt. They did bring to the manager's attention the air conditioner slow water leak, and he fixed it that day (drainage hose was clogged). I did indeed ask them to write a review of my condo-I ask all guest to do so, and I don't see the review until it's permanently posted on VRBO. As you can see the first review was excellent!!!!!! After they left, my cleaning lady went to clean the condo-for the first time ever she was unable to get into the condo. She called the building manager and he was finally able to open the deadbolt. The building manager emailed me and said there was visible damage to the deadbolt and the door frame, as if someone had propped the door open with the deadbolt out,then wind came and slammed the door back and forth against the frame. He stated it had been fine when he went into the condo just before these renters arrived. He said it would cost $100 to fix. Based on that information, I informed the renters, that for the FIRST TIME in my history of renting, I was going to deduct money from a securtity deposit - $100. They became upset but admitted they had used a "hammer with cloth wrapped around it" to "fix" the deadbolt. I asked them why they didn't let me or the building manager know,and allow us to fix it. They had no response. Despite all of this, I decided NOT to deduct any money, but I told them I had no interest in renting to them any more. 3 weeks later they posted a "revised review". Hopefully this provides context to their "revised review". All other reviews,including this renters initial one have been "5 STARS".
