We are proud of this condo, our first buy in Seascape. It was built in 1975. We bought it in 1995.

This is not a fancy place. It's a casual, rustic condo on the second floor with a beautiful view of the golf course and and the condos that line the fairways..

It has been in our family for 25 years and we love this place!. It was built in 1975. We have done updates of some kind each year since we bought it. The living room, bathroom and kitchen have had recent total makeovers with new fixtures, equipment, cabinets and appliances. We think it looks great but we still have more to do before we will consider it "Done."

The photos above and below are current with the new bathroom, kitchen and living room updates. The video is not yet updated with those changes.

It includes amenities such as free wireless Internet, flat screen HD TVs in living room and bedroom, complete kitchen setup, comfy deck seating and table, two beach chairs and more.

It is pet friendly with no extra fee.

Whether you play golf or not, this one bedroom, one bath condo overlooking the Seascape Golf Course eleventh fairway makes a great vacation home.

This condo is on the second floor of a two story building. It sleeps four adults. The beach is an eight minute walk.

On arrival a short, winding drive brings you to our Fairway Condo. The comfortable four unit buildings in this central area of Seascape all line fairways of the Seascape Golf Course.

You will be struck with the quiet and solitude of the area, near peaceful lakes and swimming pools, and surrounded by tall, majestic pines and tropical plants swaying in the breeze.

The exterior stairs between units brings you to your vacation home and you enter your private world for the next few days.

Set up your laptop or tablet and stay connected with free Wi-Fi Internet! Explore the library of books in the living room. Open the blinds and let the Florida sun fill the room. Roam the balcony which surrounds the east and north sides of the unit. Arrange the deck furniture to suit yourself. Go down the stairs to find the washer and dryer under the stairs.

Back upstairs to the bedroom. Unpack your suitcases. Hang up your clothes. Divide up the chest of drawers. Turn on the HD cable TV. Enjoy the view of the 13th fairway. Turn down the king size bed. Relax.

The recently remodeled bathroom has a tub/shower combination, toilet and sink. There is a second bath sink outside the bathroom.

Investigate the kitchen, fully equipped with dishes, pots and pans, silverware, glassware, range, cook-top, and over-the-range microwave. Also coffee maker, toaster, dishwasher and disposal! And the fridge has an ice-maker. Make a quick snack or a gourmet dinner and serve it on either the dining room table or the dinette on the deck.

Head for the beach! Take the two beach chairs stored at the unit. Down the fairway and across the Stewart Lake boardwalk and you're there. It's about an eight minute walk. Or, if you like, take the car and park it in Seascape's private beach parking lot with the parking pass we provide.

Or, go jump in any one of five pools on the property. The choice is yours.

Slow down and begin to appreciate the casual opportunities of the next few days. The days you will spend in Paradise on the Emerald Coast of Florida.

This is a family oriented resort and we support that. This is not a party condo for adults or young people. Minimum age of the person booking it is 25. No exceptions.

About Bill Dollarhide

Margaret and I grew up in Mississippi but spent many early vacations traveling to the beaches on the Emerald Coast of Florida. Destin was everybody's favorite! We moved to Pensacola in 1988 to open our business, Dollarhide's Music Center. We had been visiting Seascape since the mid-70's so buying this condo was a natural step in 1995. We take great pride in a clean, well maintained 'Home' for you to live in for your vacation. Once you stay you will likely join the many return guests that come back year after year.

We bought this condo at Seascape because we wanted to buy an investment grade rental but we mostly wanted a comfortable condo for our own visits to Destin.

What makes this condo unique

This condo is close enough to the beach but just far enough away. We've stayed directly on the beach plenty and find that a short, comfortable distance away with some grass and trees a and shade is a good thing. The beach can become a gritty hot place in the summer. Having a cool, big swimming pool right close by is sometimes just the ticket!

Love Dollarhide Condo's at Seascape!! Awesome condos for amazing vacations!

This time (as we have stayed in the Dollarhide properties previously), we stayed in 32D at Seascape! We stayed at this one bedroom unit once before 3 years ago. We loved it then but it's been upgraded and looks FABULOUS!

As a couple with no children and just fur babies, having a nice and beautiful retreat to visit that is (first and foremost) safe for our two beloved Malti-poo's is so special.

Mr. Dollarhide is a gracious host, calling and/or texting to ensure that his guests have everything that they need while staying in one of his condos.

We are already looking at our beach trip for 2018 so that we can go ahead and book one of the Dollarhide condos!

If you are looking for a quiet, pet friendly, comfortable place to stay this is it!!!

I have stayed in many a rental cottages. This one is up there at the top of the list for quiet and pet friendly. The condo is well furnished and everything was in working order. Recent upgrades are obvious as nothing seemed worn out or outdated. We really enjoyed our stay here and we would definitely consider it again for our next stay. The owner made himself available and communicated openly about any of our needs.

Disappointed

I was disappointed in the accommodations. It was just so old and rundown. The owner is trying to make updates, so I give him that, yet it has a long way to go! I kept on my shoes because the carpet in the bedroom was so dirty!!! Tile flooring was in most of the condo.....a couple of different colors and was old and dirty looking.

The owner is very nice and called to check on the accommodations as soon as I arrived. He offered to help if I needed anything during my stay. I didn't have the heart to tell him I wasn't impressed!!!

Owner's Response: Thanks Patti, for your comments. I pay close attention to our reviews. It may be that my description of the condo online painted too rosy a picture. So, I have edited our description of the condo on VRBO to make it more clear that we have done various updates but have work left before we are done. That the condo is a “Work in progress.” That the work will eventually include new flooring throughout, more painting, etc. Hopefully that will better prepare other guests for what they see when they arrive. Please know that we welcome your return in the future. And thanks again for being our guests and taking time to give us feedback.

We stayed with my husband during Hurricane Irma in Florida, Bill has been amazing to us! The condo is beautiful, very peaceful and a great view!

His response to us was at the minute at the moment we most needed! It had been a blessing to find someone like him during this critical times!

Condo is clean.
