ABOUT THE NEIGHBORHOOD:
The neighborhood is mostly rental units with a few year round residents and is so peaceful. Not much car traffic because it is located on end of cul-de-sac. The lake and dock are very close but is down an incline, there are a lot of stairs all the way down.
Sitting on the back deck, just off the living room and master bedroom, you can see the big fish swimming in the lake.
One night we were sitting on the front porch and heard the thunder of hooves... no not Santa,,,,( but he does come to relax after Christmas at the unit next door) just a small herd of deer!
Lake Coronado is the 2nd largest lake in the village and is good for WATER SKIING or TUBING & FISHING.. lots of fish just waiting out there (AR Fishing License required over age 16). ( BOAT LAUNCH is map marker D)
If TENNIS is your thing this is also the place to be... you can walk to the Tennis Center which boast 10 clay courts and 3 hard courts, it also has a Pro Shop and lessons are available. Every Tuesday: 8 am “Women’s Tennis Scramble” Every Wednesday:

Just want to relax and read a bunch of books.... the LIBRARY is also within walking distance OR.... WANT TO GET FIT?? I am a Florida native but after my mother moved to the Village in 1998 I was up there so much I thought - lets move there... so I bought this condo for my future retirement home.
I now live in the Village in a house on Lake Coronado with my mom.
I love swimming in the lake in the summer and the indoor heated pool in the winter and working out at the awesome fitness center!!
I hope no matter where you stay while your in the Village that you have a great time!
Angela Sanabria purchased this house in 2007
Coronado Courts.... it is convenient to all areas of the Village being centrally located between the East and West gate.
I love having my own carport just a few steps from my front door.
I like being on the lake but by being off on the canal it gives us a safe swimming area with our own private boat dock.
Also because it is walking distance to The Tennis Center, Library, fitness center and pool!! and a new mile long walking trail
Walking distance to the Coronado Center with the indoor pool, new fitness center, AND the Tennis Center.
We had a great time - my grandchildren loved the water (once we got them in). It was a little shallow right by the dock but you could swim out a ways and it was much better. The kitchen was so well stocked.
The house was perfect - plenty of space for everybody. The view from the deck was awesome!
Hated to leave on Monday - but the girls said they want to come there for all their 4th of July vacations - so it was a big hit.
We booked this place as a college reunion of sorts. You're on the water, have all the necessities of home and are in a secluded area where it's easy to relax. Angela was great. Literally responded to every request within minutes of sending one. Would recommend to anyone. Perfect for a great weekend on somewhat of a budget. Thanks for everything!
Linda was so nice and trustful, we stayed 3 days and everything was perfect, my kids they love it and sure we gonna come back again I strongly recommend it thank u Linda for making our vocation so lovely, big big like from my family 👍👍👍
I would rate 10 stars if I could..... My fiance and I stayed and enjoyed the relaxation away from everyday life. It's a great couples retreat and next time we will take our 2 kids because the fishing is amazing and they love fishing!!! We caught crappie and catfish every morning and every evening for 3 days straight!!! The neighbors swam in the lake and went out in their paddle boats..... It would have been great for us to do the same, but we never got around to renting a boat. The house is a duplex, but we never heard the neighbors and the house is built so you won't share the same backyard basically. The walk in shower and shower head I miss already and the larger bed of the two is the most comfy bed I have ever slept in.....I actually plan on buying one for home now!!!! It's located in hot springs village which has plenty to do, but to get to the actual hot springs area is about a 30 minute drive. It wasn't bad tho. Melinda's coffee shop is right outside the village and I very much recommend her place for coffee and snacks!!!! And the restaurants around both areas are great!! We had Mexican, BBQ, Greek, and there's regular everyday places like McDonald's, burger King, Popeyes, etc. There too.... We like trying new things tho. Overall the trip was amazing and we will definitely return some day!!!!
The owner is very receptive of comments/input about the property. We have stayed twice. We have noticed updates/improvements since our last stay. We never hear the neighbors in the other side of this duplex. It is an exceptional value for the money. Looking forward to our next stay.
This is a very nice vacation home, in a peaceful setting on Lake Coronado. It was enjoyable to sit down on the boat dock, and even have lunch. The kitchen is outfitted well, and the beds were extremely comfortable. We really enjoyed our stay.
We stayed in this half of a duplex for four nights while attending a family gathering about 1.5 miles away. It worked well for the two of us, both seniors. The property appears to be one of the older residences in Hot Springs Village, which began in the 1970's. Much of the décor and some of the furniture dates back to that era. The place was very clean, the kitchen fairly well equipped, although some of the furniture was rather worn. Lighting in the front bedroom was very minimal and only a little better in the living room. The king bed in the front bedroom was in good condition. We did not have an occasion to try the queen bed adjacent to the deck. The dining table was abnormally high, with four chairs of matching height. Regular height chairs cannot be used with it. (Unless as an adult you want to experience being three years ago, when your chin was barely above the table when sitting in a "big-people" chair!)
The owner will not come in unless the renter is there. While this respect for privacy is admirable, it can be inconvenient when a minor repair is needed. The Wi-Fi was experiencing brief interruptions the whole time we were there. Most of the time we could live with them, which we did for the whole stay. The owner would have attempted to trouble-shoot the system if we had been there during the day. But we were not!
There are 63 steps down to the dock. There is a handrail virtually all the way down. The hill is relatively steep, with the slope continuing into the water. Thus young children would need to be carefully supervised. If you have a small boat, check with the owner about rules. There is a launch site close by. Pontoon boats are very appropriate for this lake, but are not available for rental. There is a beach elsewhere on the lake. Swimming in this small bay requires good skills as it gets deep quickly.
There are several gates to HSV, but only two usable for visitors. These are the east gate off highway 5 and the main gate, or west gate, off highway 7. Most shopping and restaurants are at the west gate. This property is a few miles from the west gate, and a much longer distance from the east gate.
Within walking distance: Library, Tennis Center, Fitness Center, Indoor Heated Pool, Dry and Steam Saunas, Large Whirlpool Tub, Bocce Court
This unit is located in the center of the village. Very Quiet, low traffic.
From the Main Gate;
Ron Coleman Crystal Mine is just one mile north on hwy 7. They have a Zip Line as well as mining for Quartz crystals.
Just outside the Main Gate is Walgreens, Health Food Store, Mexican Restaurant, Charlie's Pizza Pub, Cranfords Grocery, Several gift shops, nail salon.
South on hwy 7 about 3 miles is a Walmart.
Hot Springs is about a 25 minute drive to the downtown area, lots of touristy things to do here including; Bathhouse row, which has been restored and repurposed. Get a massage and a hot springs soak, then walk over to the Superior Brewery for lunch and a great selection of microbrewery beers. Or you if beer isn't your thing, walk across the street for a Fat Bottom Girls cupcake (competed in Cupcake Wars on Food Network) and a cup of coffee from Kollective Coffee and Tea. On the way into downtown is also an amazing coffee roastery "Red Light Roastery" if you are a coffee conisure. There is a Gangster museum, a wax museum, Duck rides(amphibious vehicle), and the ability to get water from the hot water springs (free, bring a container), and many shops to browse.
There is a fun little water and amusement park called Magic Springs about 25 minutes from the condo.
There are farmers markets in the summer;
on Thursdays 8am-noon inside the village.
On Fridays outside the village off hwy 7 (15min from condo) 8-noon
On Saturdays in downtown Hot Springs 8-noon.
Little Rock is about an hour drive and there are also many fun interesting things to do there.
