What an exclusive apartment! :

This exclusive apartment is located in the best location in Saint Germain :

• At your feet, “Place Saint Germain des Prés”, all luxury shops : Louis Vuitton, Dior, Ralph Lauren, Burberry, Armani and many more.

• The famous “Café de Flore” will be your choice for breakfast. For lunch, just opposite, you will appreciate the ambiance of the “Lipp brasserie” where French politicians hold their private talks.

• The cab station, the subway, and the Saint Germain Parking are right at your foot. Even food shopping will be a pleasure at the Monoprix on rue de Rennes.

Location is unique, but not as much the apartment :

• Each of the 2 bedrooms has its own full bathroom- a rare feature in Parisian apartments

• Incredibly spacious living room and dining room for Parisian standards give a feeling of full rest

• a long Haussmannian type balcony follows the apt all around. Each room as well as living & dining rooms has access to the balcony which overviews the roofs and the “Saint Germain Church”.

• subtle decoration mixes modern comfort of large screen flat TV, B&O stereo and carefully chosen valuable antique furniture.

The entrance of the building is luxurious. It is also very safe with its second glass door. The marble like colors are perfect. The elevator takes you to the 5th floor (Fr standard) dedicated solely to the apartment.

One enters through a large oval shaped entrance, decorated with nice fashion paintings from the forties.

Living room, Dining Room and kitchen :

On the left, the large living room, where the TV is located. It has a fire place (not for use) and 2 large windows full height opening on the balcony. A large sofa opens its arms to visitors.

A door leads to the dining room. It also offers a sofa, 2 arm chairs and a large table that can easily seat 4 guests. The room being at the angle of the building, it offers 2 full height windows and a 3rd one above another chimney. The balcony circles the room and bathes it in natural light. The room is also decorated with drawings.

At the other end, one finds the kitchen. Fully equipped and modern with top quality equipment. On exiting the kitchen, one is in the entrance again.

Bedrooms and bathrooms :

Crossing the entrance from the kitchen, a corridor leads to the bedrooms and bathrooms.

On the right is the first bedroom and straight ahead, its attached bathroom. On the left in the corridor, are the stand alone toilets. The master bedroom is very spacious, has two large full height windows opening to the balcony. It is equipped with 1 king size bed. Its bathroom is a piece of art, tiled with white and blue tiles and offering a bath tub and plenty of mirrors with high quality sinks. Please refer to the photos.

In the corridor, the door next to the master bedroom leads to the 2nd bedroom. It is equipped with 2 large single beds that can be set up as a double bed on request. It also has a full height window opening to the balcony. A door leads to the 2nd bathroom offering shower, sink and toilet. This bathroom is also well designed.

Note that, at the end of the apartment, access to the 3rd bedroom is not permitted. It is reserved for private use of owner when he comes to Paris and is not accessible.

The apt is furnished with valuable pieces of antique furniture, some of them fragile. Therefore if you have kids under 12 year of age inform us, we will require a formal confirmation from the owner before confirming booking.

As a bonus, Phone calls to land lines in France, and to US, Canada and australia are generaly free. It is also true for more than 50 countries. More over, calls to cell phones towards specific countries (often France, US & Canada) may also be free. Ask us for detail as it may vary with time and policies of operators.

Neighborhood :

• The Saint Germain area is very lively and full of restaurants, cafés, cinemas and trendy shops. The art Galleries of Rue de Seine are very close. One reaches the Eglise de Saint Germain des Pres in 2 minutes. And there is even a supermarket to conveniently buy food, which is not always easy inside Paris.

• Last but not least, if you have kids, the Luxembourg garden is walking distance.

• This location is a perfect base to visit Paris. It is very central. There are 4 subway stations at walking distance (Saint-Germain, Sèvre Babylone, Mabillon, Saint Sulpice)

Spacious Apartment, Great Location, Very Cold (rent in warm weather)

My husband and I spent a week at the Beverley with our 2 adult daughters. The location is ideal with 3 subway lines and a supermarket and pharmacy a short walk away. There was plenty of room for all of us and our things with great views of the neighborhood. A very quiet elevator takes you to the apt. door - either 2 people at a time or 1 person and a suitcase. The beds were very comfortable and noise from the street disappears after 11 so very quiet (except for the downstairs neighbors who very noisy a couple of nights in the back bedroom). Meeting up with Raffaela to get the keys went very smoothly.

The main reason we gave the apartment 3 stars instead of 4 was because while we were there outside temps dropped into the 40s in the daytime and 30s at night so the apartment was freezing. The radiators got lukewarm at best and the instructions in the apartment tell you not to touch the control panel. There were heavy drapes to close at night which helped to keep out drafts but one night we all sat on the sofa watching TV under one of the down comforters from the bed because we were so cold. It also was difficult to get warm enough to sleep one night as there are no extra blankets to use.

Also, you only get one hand towel and one bath towel per person, not even a bath mat to put on the tile floor outside the shower which gets wet due to the design of the shower enclosure. (Hot water is also scalding so you need to take care with that.)

The kitchen had 6 coffee/tea mugs but 4 of them had the handles broken off causing my daughter to burn herself while using one without a handle. The dishwasher doesn't really clean the dishes as it seems to use cold water. The washing machine didn't work and needed to be replaced so check with them before renting if you plan on using the washer.

Lastly, there is a line in the lease that is easy to miss that says consumables are not included (which we thought to mean food) - we had to go out and buy soap for the shower as well as handsoap for the bathrooms (which we left for others), a sponge to wash dishes, toilet paper and paper towels. Had we known ahead of time we would have packed some from home to use upon our arrival.

This is not an inexpensive rental and with some minor additions (and some heat) it could be quite nice. We would recommend renting this apartment in warm weather.

Owner's Response: Dear Diane, I am so glad you loved the apt and the location. The apt does have plenty of room, very comfortable beds and great views. You should have called Raphaela, for any issue, she would have been extremely helpful. The apt does have strong heating. We would have been happy to explain how to set it higher with a simple phone call. Some previous guest must have lowered it. We have asked the cleaning lady to check it at every clean from now one. We informed you and discussed, prior to your stay, that the washing machine just turned dead. It could not be changed before your arrival. We always inform In advance in case of incidents. The dish washer itself does work. We double checked. There have been many stays since you stayed in the apt and everything went fine on these subjects. New mugs have been ordered and a brand new washer bought and installed since your stay. Thanks for your review. Comments are always welcome and help us to improve the apartment quality. The Beverley apartment, located in a chic neighborhood near everything you will want to see and do in Paris is an extraordinary abode that will make you feel like a local. One block from a taxi stand and Metro stop and walking distance to many fabulous restaurants and shops, it is a perfect home base for exploring the city. The immediate neighborhood contains numerous incredible restaurants, markets, and shops. The apartment itself has two very large bedrooms and two separate baths, which makes it a perfect apartment for two couples to rent. One thing I could not distinctly tell from the listing photos was how the bathrooms were exactly configured, so I will explain that a bit: The bathroom with the clawfoot tub does not contain the toilet, which is in a separate half bath, and both are in the hallway across from the larger bedroom with the queen bed. The separate bathroom with the shower does contain the toilet, and it is a few steps outside the bedroom with the single beds (both rooms have their own doors). The living areas are also huge and provide outstanding views of Paris life on the Boulevard St. Germain. The wrap-around balcony is an amazing feature to experience. The windows and the wooden floors (they do squeak, but the sound is charming) lend incredible beauty to this space. I cannot wait to return. Finally, In Beau Paris was truly wonderful to deal with and made everything about this experience reliable, efficient, and professional. Without any reservation, I highly recommend this apartment. I loved my stay in Paris, and the Beverley apartment was a huge factor in my happiness.

Fantastic Saint Germain Apartment

We recently completed a week stay at the Beverly Apartment after arrangements with InBeauParis on VHBO. We can only say our stay in Paris was wonderful.

We were welcomed on arrival to the apartment by friendly Raffaella. She carefully explained how to use the keys, the appliances, and all the plumbing fixtures. This was reassuring after our long flight and taxi ride into the city.

My wife and I traveled with our daughter and her friend. Both age 18. The apartment was ideally suited for our needs. There was plenty of privacy and the two bedrooms are spacious and comfortable. The 6th-floor windows provide wonderful views of the boulevard below.

The location in the heart of Paris is also ideal. We enjoyed close access to the Metro and easy walks to the Seine and all the famous sights of Paris.

There are several excellent , and famous, cafes within a block or two of the apartment and we found the food and service at each to be excellent.

We fully endorse doing business with InBeauParis. They carefully guided us through the reservation process and communication with their office was prompt and precise.

Spectacular apartment

Spectacular apartment to enhance your stay in Paris. It’s spacious, beautifully decorated, a large second bedroom, full kitchen with new appliance, two very comfortable living rooms and five gorgeous fireplaces. The location adds to the benefits of the apartment. It has an elevator which is great for this 5th floor apartment with picturesque views. VRBO was very easy to work with and added to the enjoyment of our stay.

Large Apartment in St Germain

Very spacious apartment...both bedrooms and bathrooms very large. Old world charm. Kitchen large and well appointed. Great location. Only drawback was upstairs neighbors noisy and shower drain was slow.

Well appointed apartment in great location

As advertised, this apartment is large, bright, clean and well equipped with a wonderful wrap around balcony providing views in every room. Two minute walk to the metro, 10 minutes to St. Germain food market and 20 minutes to the Seine. Other than a number of light bulbs being burnt out, everything worked well. There is street noise as its right on St. Germain but that is hard to avoid in central Paris and is balanced out by the existence of an elevator right to the door. The flat is the only one on the floor so very private. Very comfortable and enjoyable stay.
