This inlet home is a unique older home with an exterior log cabin look sitting right on the creek with two floating docks. Built in 1943, it has a large family room in the center of the house flanked by bedrooms and more bedrooms upstairs. The house has a screened porch looking out onto the inlet and a small open porch on the street side of the house. The kitchen has a small eating area and in the family room there is a table that seats 12.
The boat house is a few steps from the main house. Downstairs in the boat house, you’ll find the washer and dryer. Go upstairs and there is an extraordinary game room with a pool table, a poker table, and TV area. There is also a full bathroom. There is a deck on the front of the boat house overlooking the inlet.
The front yard gives an extraordinary view of the inlet. There is one stationery dock and 2 floating docks for your boats or for crabbing, shrimping, and fishing. There are 2 kayaks for those who want to paddle in the inlet. The back yard is big and provides for lots of parking space that is private from the street.
This is a great place for families to gather. You can be happy right at home or visit the nearby beaches at Garden City and Huntington State Park. Brookgreen Gardens is just down the way and Georgetown is about a 20 minute drive. Of course there is Myrtle Beach 15 minutes to the north with boundless shopping opportunities.
