Extraordinary marsh and river views are seen through walls of windows in this beautifully designed, newly renovated home. An eclectic art collection and Australian cypress flooring compliment the views. Other design elements include an open staircase with upper landing, a two story living room, and custom windows offering 180 degree views of dolphins, sea birds, and other Kiawah wildlife. The living room and kitchen, and upstairs bedrooms all have fabulous river/marsh views. A central wet bar links the living area to the more formal dining room. The newly completed, state of the art kitchen features an induction range with electric oven, microwave drawer, quartz counter tops, an oversized island with bar stools, and stainless appliances. The breakfast room offers scenic seating and opens to the rear deck with gas grill.

On the main level, the cherry-paneled library with rich wood beamed ceilings features a sleeper sofa, flat paneled TV, work station, and opens onto a covered balcony. A twin guest room is located near the library and has a lovely attached bath with walk-in shower. Upstairs, the master retreat offers a king size bed, amazing views, private balcony, and 2 walkin closets. One closet serves as a walk-in dressing room adjacent to the bathroom. The luxurious spa-style master bath features a glass mosaic open shower, soaking tub, double custom sink vanity, and separate dressing table. A spacious queen quest room with attached modern tiled bath, features walk in shower and is located at the opposite end of the hallway, adjacent to the back staircase.

Beautiful home true to the pictures and description

We just stayed at this home and it was incredible. There were only three of us, so we each had our own bedroom and bathroom which was wonderful. Sweetgrass Properties sets you up with a few days worth of supplies like paper towels, toilet paper, dishwasher powder and a packet of laundry detergent. We only stayed 3 nights so it was perfect for the 3 of us. The house can easily accommodate more people. We just decided we wanted our own rooms and able to spread out. The master bedroom and bathroom were wonderful. My friend had that room and she was extremely pleased. The kitchen is amazing and the view from the living area is postcard perfect.

Our experience with Sweetgrass was nothing short of perfect. I did everything on-line and through e-mail. They sent us the pass to get on the island and the lock box code to get into the house. Once we landed in Charleston, we went to Lewis Barbeque for a late lunch and then headed to the property. The pass isn't good until 4PM (when you can first get into the house), so we stopped at Freshfield Village which is right before the island and went to the grocery store to pick up water, beer and other supplies. The overall experience dealing with Sweetgrass was exactly what we were looking for when we searched for houses. I was reluctant at first to deal with a company I didn't know, but we're already talking about going back next year and will definitely work with Sweetgrass again. It was painless and exceptional. They are professional and will take care of you.

Month Long Stay - Very Pleased

We have been coming to Kiawah since the late 70's and owned both a house and a condo....thus we know the rental "powers" well. When we saw this house and wanted to rent it, we were skeptical because we had never heard of you! However, through telephone and email communications, we became more comfortable with your company.

This property is beautifully maintained and when we had a problem, you sent capable people right away.

Weekend Getaway with College Friends

We rented this lovely home for a weekend getaway with college friends. The view is fantastic. We enjoyed being in the kitchen and living area the entire time we were there. The rooms and beds are very comfortable and private. Everyone had the own space and well appointed bathroom. Can't wait to stay again.

A beautiful home AND beautiful marsh view! Spotless and gorgeous home, short walk/bike ride to beach. Enjoy the wildlife and ever-changing marsh view from the porch. All the comforts of home and then some. Can't wait to return!

Kiawah Island One of the most legendary barrier islands along the Southeast, Kiawah Island has long been the standard in private island luxury. With more than 10,000 natural wooded acres and 10 miles of pristine beaches, Kiawah is an island to be explored. And explore you will. Kiawah boasts five championships golf courses. Of course, the crown jewel is the famed Ocean Course. Known for it’s unrelenting play, the course was site of the 1991 Ryder Cup, the 2007 Senior PGA Championship and site of the 2012 PGA Championship. If golf isn’t your game, Kiawah was recently ranked #1 by Tennis Magazine in its list of the “Greatest US Tennis Resorts.” There are several different restaurants that Kiawah has to offer, as well. The Bohicket Marina is nearby where you can rent boats, fishing charters, boat charters, kayak rentals, etc. Freshfields Village contains your local grocery store and many shops and restaurants.
