We invite you to our home-away-from-home in beautiful Birch Bay, Washington. Enjoy the water view from our two story, two bedroom, one and a half bath condominium. The cathedral ceilings and open design with the second bedroom loft let in light and air, and a wall of windows leads out to a private balcony where you can dine al fresco while you watch for the Bald Eagles and Blue Herons. On cooler evenings, light a fire in the wood burning fire place and cozy up with a good book in our tastefully decorated, yet comfortable, living room. Our condo is located in a quiet end unit and comes fully furnished with linens, towels, and all kitchen conveniences for preparing family meals or for entertaining friends; you will find a stove, refrigerator, microwave, washer-dryer, dishwasher, dishes and cookware. Just bring your groceries. Those interested in entertainment will find cable TV’s in the living room and both bedrooms and a radio/stereo and MP3 player There is also free telephone for local calls and a broadband internet line for those who wish to use their computer to keep in touch with the world.
When the tide is out, there is no better place then the warm sandy beach in Birch Bay for kite flying, clamming, crabbing, and beachcombing. When the tide is in, try kayaking the calm sparkling water or strolling and bicycling along the shore. On the condo site you can take a dip in the indoor Olympic size heated pool, relax in the hot tub, or work up a sweat on the racquetball or tennis courts and, for the kids, there is a large recreation games room with foosball, ping pong and other table games. Golf courses, fine and casual dining, waterslides, a grocery store and the famous ‘C Shop’ filled with homemade sweet treats are all within walking distance.
A short drive will take you to the Birch Bay Mall with a supermarket, outlet stores and several fast food shops. Though it is recommended that you use a car to get around, there is regular bus service to nearby Blaine, Ferndale and Bellingham. We are located less than five miles from the I-5 freeway exit 270, 20 miles north of Bellingham with the inviting Bellis Fair shopping mall, 100 miles north of Seattle, 7 miles to the Canadian border in Blaine, 38 miles to Vancouver, BC, and 115 miles to world famous Whistler Mountain - home of the 2010 Olympics.
