Guestbook comments from the owner

This was our first vacation with our 4-month baby boy. We enjoyed the museums and the Aspen Vista trail. The restaurants were great, but especially Muda Noodles on Cerillos, featuring excellent Thai food, our stay here was very comfortable!

Wonderful Sante Fe Retreat

  • 5 of 5

Our stay was perfect. This condo is as lovely as the photos , the entire home is decorated in a S West feel and the space for a family of 4 was great. The location is far enough away from the Plaza to be restful , but also easy to walk to. The parking on site was appreciated.

Thank you for a great stay!

Lovely home beautifully decorated and close to every thing.

  • 5 of 5

This house is beautifully decorated, clean and convenient to galaries and 10 minutes drive to Santa Fe opera house. Also it is close to Trader Joe's for grocery. We enjoyed our stay and will come back in the future.

Great house in the Railyard area, close to everything, well stocked, clean and well laid out

  • 5 of 5

We spent 5 weeks as a family at this rental and enjoyed every minute of it. The house has 2 floors which made it great to separate the bedrooms from living areas. The place had everything one may need in terms of supplies, great kitchen utensils, grill and other basics. 2 patios allowed us to have family meals outdoors or were great reading spots. Railyard location was very convenient to all the things in Santa Fe - at least 3 supermarkets including local co-ops within a mile, coffee shops, very interesting Railyard galleries, farm market 3x a week. We walked to the plaza (about 20 min) or Uber services were available everywhere.

We would stay at this house again and would recommend it to any travelers.

Great house in a wonderful location

  • 5 of 5

We spent 5 weeks in Santa Fe and found this place a great and comfortable place. The Railyard location was convenient to everything, had its own character with galleries and farm market. The house was extremely well stocked with all the necessities, easily accommodated our family of 4. We frequently used the grill and sat outside for family meals in one of the 2 courtyards. Phyllis responded to any of our questions and requests right away. We would definitely stay there again.

Very nice condo in the city

  • 4 of 5

The condo is beautifully decorated and has a very interesting outdoor patio surround by the high walls of the condo unit but still quite private. The sitting/dining area is quite nice with a nicely equipped kitchen from which you can see the sitting/dining area. There is also a 1/2 bath on the first floor.

The master suite is very nice with a large bed and in-suite bath which is also good sized. However, the second bedroom is quite small, with two twin beds and a small bathroom. The laundry room is also on the second floor. An issue for some older folks may be that the bedrooms are on the second floor with a winding. carpeted staircase up to them (by winding I mean you go up 4-5 steps, take a sharp left and go up 4-5 more to a landing, take a 180 turn and go up another 8 steps or so). A bit difficult to haul large luggage up.

The location depends on what you are looking for in a vacation. It's in the city itself right next to a main road (the entrance is on a small side road). However, traffic noise wasn't a problem in the condo. The upside is that you can be in the main plaza shopping/restaurant area (which is very nice) with just a 15-20 walk. And it's about an hour from Albuquerque and about the same to Taos (take the "High Road" to Taos, a gorgeous drive).

Overall, a very nice condo and we would recommend it plus Phyllis was great to work with.

Casa Nicho in late spring

  • 5 of 5

We were a group of 4 women "of a certain age" on our annual "spring fling". Loved the location of the house--so close to all the sites downtown...Sofa/chairs in living room were quite comfy. Loved the convenience of turning fireplace on/off w/ a switch. Kitchen was great. We didn't do any cooking but it's ready to go if that's your choice. The extra half bath downstairs was a real bonus! Bedrooms were roomy and beds were quite comfy (softer than I'm used to but very comfy). Patios were nice. We just didn't have an opportunity to use them. Wi-fi worked well. I could see where parking in a big vehicle might be 'iffy' if all units are rented but at least there IS off street parking and that's a good thing...We would not hesitate to rent Casa Nicho again. Phyllis was very easy to work with and was always "Johnnie on the spot" for us.
