About Ilene & Don (802N)
The beauty of this place is beyond words. We built this house in 2000. The building process was a labor of love and we really enjoy sharing it with people who appreciate quality craftmanship and pristine beauty.
Ilene & Don (802N) purchased this House in 2000
Why Ilene & Don (802N) chose Jenner
Jenner is a sweet little town in a spectacularly beautiful area of coastal Sonoma County. Very pristine and beautiful. There are 5600 acres of open space just outside our door, The Jenner Headlands and many beaches as well.
What makes this House unique
Pristine, quiet beauty. This inspiringly beautiful home has soaring spaces, an indoor bridge, lots of light and is a unique, one of a kind creation. We live outdoors as much as in with comfortable outdoor furniture, hammock, garden, decks, patio and hot tub. The large sliding doors open up to let the outdoors and the indoors become one. The chef's kitchen is completely exquisite and a joy to create great meals in. This place is truly special.

Gorgeous home atop a hill overlooking the world
We were thrilled with our stay at Don and Ilene's place near Jenner. In your dreams, you couldn't make up a better location overlooking the Pacific Ocean from the coastal range. We took in the views, relaxed in the hot tub, ate delicious food, and enjoyed our family getaway. Not a negative thing to be said about the experience!
And now for your moments of Zen
Breathtakingly beautiful, inside and out. We were celebrating our 40th anniversary with our adult children and grand daughter and can not imagine a more perfect spot. The views from every window bring the outside, in and the rustic elegance wrapped us all in its nurturing arms. It's a magical place and the attention to detail makes life effortlessly flow from room to room and in and out. You can just stay on the five acres and experience all that it has to offer, and/or hike right out the gate, or drive a short distance for magnificent cliff walks and the ocean's roar soothes any remaining prickles one might still have. Delightful, to all of our senses. Thank you Ilene and Don for sharing the labor of love that you have created.
Unique, well maintained custom home with an amazing view!
This unique Japanese themed custom home was well maintained, comfortable and provided a great getaway with my family. We used all 4 bedroom areas. The master had a private porch with an amazing view! In fact, the home had beautiful views out of almost every room! The owner met us as we arrived and was eager to help with anything included sightseeing suggestions. By the way, if you want to see huge redwoods within easy driving, go to Armstrong Redwoods State Park! We would definitely stay at this home again.
It was a complete pleasure to have you and your family as guests. We look forward to hosting you another time. With warm regards, Ilene and Don

Best of the Sonoma Coast
We love the wine country, but wanted to try out a different experience. My wife, 2 adult children, and I spent the week at the Japanese farm house, just north of Jenner. The house, grounds and view are all first class. We did visit some vineyards/breweries, but mostly focused on the beautiful Sonoma Coast. Kayaking/paddle boarding in Jenner with seals, eating oysters and fresh seafood, and hiking Salt Point Park, Pointe Reyes, and the nearby beaches were all highlights of the week. Karl (common name for the fog) would roll in/out most evenings and great to relax on the back patio/hot tub and just enjoy the view. The gravel road up to the house is a bit long/steep, but well worth it. We would highly recommend the stay at the Farm House - very detailed, like new with all the amenities. We hope to return!
Near the Russian River Recreation Area, Wine Country nearby, wine tasting tours, art galleries, restaurants, horseback riding. Kayak rentals right in Jenner. Fort Ross State Historic Park nearby, an authentic historical site where the Russians once settled. Spectacular views and a fun way to spend a day on the coast. http://www.fortross.org
