Little Blue House On Halloween

  • 5 of 5

My husband, daughter and I rented the Little Blue House especially for Halloween and we had so much fun seeing all of the trick or treaters (including many adults and dogs) who were all dressed up for the occasion. It was a blast! We had 750 pieces of candy and ran out in 2 hours and had to go in the house and then watched the parade of people for at least 3 more hrs.

The house was absolutely adorable in every way, the decorating and furnishings were so in keeping with the era of the house, but also very up to date. The owner thought of everything, including a bottle of wine upon our arrival!

Thank you Rachel for sharing your lovely home with us.

Amazing well equiped cottage

  • 5 of 5

This place is amazing. First of all from the moment we pulled into the driveway, we were impressed. The house is beautifully done. Modern where it counts and antique where it is quaint. I have never spent so much time in a house on vacation as I did here. We usually explore this trip we were happy sitting on the porch and enjoying the amenities of the property. This house is located on an amazing street lined with well done historic houses. We walked the street at least once a day just admiring all the other houses on the block. This place is a leisurely15 minute walk from town center. It was easier to just walk to town as opposed to finding parking. I am a mountain biker. I was able to ride my bike to all the Prescott trails. When we return to Prescott again I will stay here again if at all possible.

We only ate out once while in Prescott as the kitchen was modern and the dining room and back patio made for a better dining experience than we could have had in town. I would say one must eat at the Prescott brewery at least once while in town. The brewery is walking distance from this house also. The nearest grocery store is a sprouts that is very nice. It would be a long walk or a very short drive from here.

We enjoyed the experience very much.

One thought would be to have a cozier couch. But loved the beds.

We left our heart in the Little Blue House

  • 5 of 5

This little home is a slice of heaven! It is in the amazing town of Prescott and all it has to offer is a short walk away. We have been coming here for many years and have watched this little home evolve into a romantic, warm, peaceful and welcoming destination. Everything is perfect from the welcoming flowers to the little extra treats. The beds are super comfortable. We read our paper daily in the rockers on the front porch. In the evening we share wine and cheese in the sweet backyard patio area. We will return every year as it is one of our "great escapes" from the heat and busy city.
