No central A/C, but floors fans in all rooms, and ceiling fan in the living room.

Centrally located in Wallingford, this free-standing home (no shared walls) is 7 blocks to lively 45th street in Wallingford with a range of restaurants, coffee shops, bars, and eclectic shopping. First of many coffee shops is 3 blocks away. Famous Gas Works Park, Lake Union (seaplanes and paddle boats), Burke Gilman Trai (run, bike, blade)l, Fremont (The Troll and Center of the Universe) are all an easy walk. Green lake is 10 blocks (jog the 3 mile loop or paddle in the lake). 2 miles to Husky Stadium. The following neighborhoods are closer than 10 minutes - Ballard, Fremont, Greenlake, Belltown, Pike's Place Market, Pioneer Square, Queen Anne, Capitol Hill and Montlake. 2 minutes to 99. 5 minutes to I5. Easy access to buses and public transportation.

Do not sending book requests for stays shorter than 5 days without contacting me first, they will be denied. We have a preference for longer stays: 6 nights+ May - September. 4 nights otherwise. Will consider shorter stays if they fit neatly between other bookings already on the calendar and don't leave gaps between reservations.
We own several 3br modern homes in the area that are very similar. We sometimes keep the calendar open so long as we have availability at one of those homes (all listed here).

Can we come live here all the time?
Staying at this modern home was by far our best experience on HomeAway. Everything was 100%. We arrived late in the evening, but checked our selves in with the digital keypad. Everything in the home was fresh and neatly prepared, just like our favorite hotel! We curled up by the fireplace and watched a few shows on the included Netflix. We had a restful and quiet sleep in the top floor master while the kids rested in the 2 downstairs bedroom. This is a house, and not a condo or apartment - no noisy neighbors to worry about. We usually have a suggestion or two for the host, but Seattle Stays thought of everything. Looking forward to using our discount when we return this summer!

Great property - Great Location
The property was set up perfectly for our family. It was big enough for everyone to have space yet small enough to be manageable. The location is great with many stores and restaurants in walking distance and close to Downtown. I drove to Redmond daily and it was very convenient with 520 highway being close. Seth was very responsive to all requests. We stayed for 2 months and the house helped make the visit successful and enjoyable.

Clean, comfortably, well located.
Gives you the feeling of how you can live in Seattle and enjoy it, pizza, bars, live music, farmers market, restaurants, supermarkets, university nearby, parks, shopping, etc.

I Recently booked this house for a trip to Seattle. Property was nice, clean, and stocked with amenities that you need. Each bedroom is decorated so cute and with a comfortable bed. Bathrooms are beautiful, clean, and fully stocked with towels. Property didn't have air conditioning but it's understandable because it's supposedly rains in Seattle 9 months of the year. We went on a week where it was super hot, but has access to fans all around the house so that wasn't a problem for us. House TV had basic cable and Amazon TV which was good for us. Property even provided us wifi, Thumbs up! Location is near a lot of places to walk to: coffee shops, restaurants, and convenience stores. So overall we had a great stay in Seattle. Seth was good with the whole booking process, responded quick to my questions and messages. We were even able to drop off our luggages early but weren't about to check in early due to cleaners, but it worked out fine. I would definitely recommend to stay at this property if you planning on staying in Seattle. =)

Seth was very fast to reply to all our messages, very flexible and the house itself was fantastic. We had a great time in the quiet neighbourhood in a modern, clean and well-laid-out place. We'll definitely use this again when we're next in Seattle!
