Two bedroom/Two bathroom 1069 Sf condo with great room & 42' plasma TV / 9 Ft Ceilings and open kitchen (with island), lots of cabinets, all black appliances, refrigerator, microwave, dishwasher, disposal, self-cleaning oven with flat ceramic top. This is a 2nd floor condo with stair access only.
Full size washer/dryer in condo. Large patio. Bedrooms have walk-in closet/large closet. Bathrooms have tub/showers. Plenty of other storage space. Newly renovated March 2010 with wood floors, ceramic tile, fresh paint and new furniture and accessories.

I live out of state, but wanted a vacation getaway in a warm climate that I could use and rent out.

Our condo, located at Citi on Camelback, is centrally located. We like the size & layout of the unit and the fact that it has a private garage, it is a secure gated community and has upscale amenities.
What makes this Condo unique
We are so centrally located and close to the freeways (SR 51, I-10, I-17) that it's easy to get to the airport (10 min), Scottsdale (15 min), downtown (5 min) and any sports venues (US Airways Center-Suns basketball, University of Phoenix Stadium-Cardinals football; Chase Field-Diamondbacks baseball, Jobing, Arena-Cyotes hockey or other attractions including the Desert Botanical Gardens, Phoenix Zoo, Heard Museum, Phoenix Art Museum, just to name a few. When you are not busy seeing the sights or taking in a sporting event you may relax in the pool, hot tub or use the fitness center at our complex.

Noisier than a hotel
I was optimistic that this uptown location would make for a great stay. After entering the unit and seeing decent furniture and overall cleanliness, my family and I were surprised and thought we got a good deal; then, when I went to cook dinner and found that the pots and pans were unwashed and sticky with grease. I cleaned them and continued with the evening. Next was a shower after a long travel day; the shower heads in both bathrooms are crusted with hard water and lime scale - spraying everywhere out of half the holes and the drains are partially clogged; at least there seemed to be plenty of hot water...
Off to bed we went and were awakened every 15 minutes or so by the sound and vibration of the main entry gate that is right outside the unit. The noise subsided long enough for a quick snooze around 5:30 AM only to have the sun shining beaming through the inadequate blinds at 6:00 AM - There are no curtains in the unit at all, so if you aren't an 'up with the sun' type person, forget about sleeping in till 7 or 8 on your vacation.
We bought some ear plugs to get a good nights sleep (worked well by the way) and decided to take the kiddos to the pool the next day. After about 15 minutes of using the relatively well kept pool, some ‘residents’ came out on their deck to smoke some non-tobacco product and show off their 'tats' next to the pool - decriminalized or not, I don't want my 6 or 12 year old exposed to it, so we left.
Celeste was responsive to email and was gracious enough to grant a late checkout so we could accomplish the chore of washing and drying the linens from 3 beds and thoroughly cleaning the unit. We left the unit cleaner than we found it - and will not be back. The extra star is for granting the late checkout and having decent furniture and beds in the unit.
We are sorry that some aspects of your vacation did not meet your expectations. We will look into those items under our control, but unfortunately some things are out of our control. And while we appreciated what you did to clean the condo, our very specific instructions only requested that you put sheets and towels on the washing machine and start the dishwasher. The cleaning fee (which we made the exception to reduce and send you a partial refund prior to your review being posted) covers a cleaning crew to clean the condo.

Great place! Pool was just what we needed and it was close to great restaurants.
The property was very nice. Well kept grounds.
The only thing we did not care for was there only one tv. None in the bedrooms. With four people it would have been nice to have at least one in the master bedroom. Other them that we had a great time at your condo. Oh the shower head needs to be replaced in the master. I'm sorry I am a handyman and I notice little things. Thank you we will stay with you again.
We enjoyed our time in the condo while we stayed in Phoenix. It was a good location near the freeway and airport. The pool was nice as well. I wished there was a few more kitchen utensils like an ice cream scooper and a dresser for the 2nd bedroom. Other than that it was a wonderful place. I would stay there again! The owners were accommodating. My family enjoyed sitting by the built in benches.
We loved this condo! The pictures do not do it justice. It was very clean, beds are comfortable and plenty of linens. The pool is very close and we used it every day, as well as the outdoor fireplaces and the BBQs. Good location in proximity to everything we wanted to do. The property was very well cared for. The owners are a pleasure to deal with. It was very secure and safe. We would stay here again.
We'll definitely be staying here again the next time we come back to Phoenix.
When traveling, we normally use hotels. This was our first time to try HomeAway or something like this. We couldn't of been more pleased with the place and the location. You're only 7 miles from the airport, and very central to everything around Phoenix. I'm actually a little upset over all the money we've been spending on hotels and all you get is a tiny square with uncomfortable beds. The condo is really nice and clean, great kitchen, the beds were very comfortable, and we used the hot tub and pool (slightly heated) every day, even though it was December. We plan on coming back again in 2018 or 2019 and we'll definitely be staying here again.
