Welcome to our condo located on the second floor of Makaha Valley Towers, which is in the small, remote, and non-touristy town of Makaha/Waianae. It's far up on the north-west side of the island, away from the hustle and bustle of Honolulu/Waikiki.

Makaha Valley Towers is about 1 mile inland from beautiful Makaha State Beach and is a few miles south of Yokohama Bay. Also a few miles up the road from there is Ka'ena Point, which is the end of the road (you can hike out to the tip, but the road does not connect to allow you to drive around it to the north shore).

Our 1 bedroom, 1 bathroom condo faces the ocean (when looking to your right) and mountains (when looking to your left).

The condo is completely furnished with a queen-size bed. There is a couch (that does NOT pull out into a bed), a coffee table, a swiveling recliner, a two-seat dining table and a sliding shoji screen that closes off the bedroom for privacy. The living room also has a flat screen TV with cable and a DVD player (you can rent DVDs at the Redbox kiosk at Longs Drugs in Waianae).

The bathroom has a shower over a tub, a sink and a toilet.

A fully stocked kitchen includes all utensils, as well as pots and pans, plates, glasses, etc. You'll find three bar stools at the kitchen counter as well as a dishwasher, fridge, a built-in microwave, toaster oven and coffee maker.

Large windows that go the length of the condo face out towards the ocean and mountains and there is a small lanai so you can enjoy the fresh air.

You will find beach towels, 2 beach chairs, 2 boogie boards, 2 sun hats, 2 umbrellas, and more in the storage closet located in the bathroom. There is ample closet space.

There is free parking (a refundable CASH deposit of $50 must be paid to the office for a parking pass). Makaha Valley Towers includes 24 hour security, a shared BBQ area, a swimming pool and laundry facilities.

Broadband wireless Internet (included) is available for your use.



1) MAKAHA VALLEY TOWERS NO SMOKING POLICY: There is no smoking in the condo, on the lanai, or anywhere on the property grounds except for a designated smoking area near the BBQ area. There will be a $250 fine charged to any guest violating this rule.

2) TRAFFIC: The condo is located on the far North-West side of the island and there is heavy traffic during rush hour traffic (morning and afternoon-evening) as well as many stop lights. Therefore, be aware that it can take time to get to or from the condo to other locations on the island, depending on the traffic. Recommendation is to plan your day around rush hour traffic if possible.

3) PEACOCKS: There are peacocks on the grounds. Please note that while peacocks are beautiful, they can be noisy and because the unit is on the 2nd floor, you will hear them, mainly during the mating season in the Spring and mostly during the day but they can also be heard at night).

Fabulous view. Great value. The only downside s that Farrington Highway is the only road in and the only road out. Heavy traffic no matter what time of day, especially taxing during rush hour. Despite this fact, I would still consider this location in the future.

Property while older is well maintained.

nice condo, property is well secured, security is ever present. Unit itself meets needs of couple or perhaps a couple and a child. Please note that it is the west end of the island and not anywhere near the tourist area of Waikiki or the east end of the island. Plenty of nice beaches starting at the far west end at Yokohama bay all the way to the Ko Olina man made lagoons. Traffic on Farrington Highway is ok although there is a lot of construction, avoid rush hour travel and it is good. The unit met our needs and we had a car so we were able to do touristy things as well as have quiet. There appears to be a lot of homeless people on the island but it is on this end as well as in the tourist areas.

The Place is excellent!

Apartment is excellent, has everything you ever needed and more, very close to the Best Beaches on Island of Oahu, Oasis of the Green Belt, very well kept Property. Got a million dollars Views of the Majestic Makaha Mountains. A lot of activities around the Area including great secluded, almost private, swimming Beaches, great hiking, biking trails, excellent snorkeling, great swimming pool on the Property, 24 hours security, very friendly stuff, very romantic dining area set up near the Pool including the Barbeques, dining Tables, special Hawaiian Lights surrounding the Area. Highly recommended. Hard to imagine anything better than that. We keep on coming back every year for around 5 years in the row.

Amazing and very relaxing stay!!

My family and I come home every other year. We decided to stay at the towers this year. When I tell you the process was smooth and easy. Mr. Craig was a HUGE help, he was very quick to respond to any questions or concerns I had. When I looked at this unit online, it had GREAT reviews. Great enough that I decided to choose it for my and my mother's stay. Once we arrived it was beautiful AS ALWAYS. The unit was COZY and IMMACULATE. It provided mire than needed, with extra things like soap, razors, shower caps etc. So I was very impressed. There were no ants or no bugs really. The beach is not far just about 5 minutes. The 7/11 was my main store and it was very convenient. I definitely will be booking again when I come next year. It was a pleasure, Thank you so much xxoo Fiona B.
