We live 5 hours from our cabin and never hesitate any and every chance to come to our second home at PJsDelight. We try to put ourselves in the position of a renter and ask what would make a renter want to come and come again. We believe renters should be honored and appreciated with the best possible service. We loved the Smoky Mountains so much after years of visits. Finally, we could not resist having a second home there. We love our opportunities to relax and enjoy local restaurants and dinner shows that we could visit nowhere else. The entire area is family friendly. If it snows, it is usually gone in a few hours. The HOA keeps the road accessible so that I do not need a four wheel drive car.
In the Spring the blossoms are so beautiful. In the Summer the hiking is superb. In the Fall the leaves are a magnificent expanse of colors for miles and miles. To be on top of a mountain and look down on what God made is breath taking. In the Winter the Pigeon Forge lights and our Christmas decorations in the cabin are a fantasy retreat.
Nice place to be. Enjoyed it. This is our w2nd trip to PJ's! I must say the wood floors are great. They really look good! Thumbs up to whoever put them in! Thanks again.
Just came back from a weeks stay at PJ'S Delight. Such a charming place. It was clean cozy and comfortable. Two of us had stayed there a few years ago. My other three friends enjoyed it too. Easy to find and close to everything. We really loved the screened in porch the most. Sitting out there in the cool air was very refreshing. We hope to be able to stay there again some time!
Our family has just returned home after staying a week at this lovely cabin. We have stayed at numerous cabins in the area for the last 15 years and I have to say this has got to be the cleanest cabin we have stayed in! Even the fireplace was super clean(some cabins we have rented smell like old soot and we always rent in the summer so we know they haven't been used in months) It was very well stocked as well. We absolutely loved the screened in porch. The location was perfect as well. Far enough to feel secluded but close to everything! The owner, Jim, was very helpful, friendly and was quick to respond with any questions we had before our arrival. Definitely would stay again!
First off I would like to state that I have stayed in many great cabins and condos through this site. There has not been one bad owner or rental however this cabin and owner is by far the best of I have rented from. The owner could not have been any nicer he does set the bar for the others to follow.
The cabin more than lived up to the pictures. We really enjoyed the outside features like the screened in porch and the hot tub. Even though we went right after Christmas the weather was outstanding we was able to enjoy being outdoors for the majority of our trip. I would recommend if at all possible to arrive during the daytime as it is a little tricky to find at first. The good part is it is not in some cookie cutter housing community and it sits off far enough to itself to feel like you have no neighbors. Kitchen was also nicely stocked with about all the pans and dishes that you need to cook any meal with. We had our grandkids with us and they really enjoyed playing on the screened in porch and we felt safe to allow them on the porch.
We will be back again which I can not say the same for on every cabin we have stayed at in the Pigeon Forge area.
Where does one start when there are so many high points and marks? The cabin is simply great!! Everything you will need is there. The kitchen is so well stocked it's great. The owner has thought of eveything. We are a family of 4, and our girls, 15 & 11, had their own rooms to choose from. We of course chose the downstairs room with the king. The other 2 rooms have nice queens. The cabin is very roomy and warmly decorated. Everything is at hand, including the owner if you need them. The cabin is located on a pretty secluded lot, sure in winter with no leaves on the trees you might see a cabin or two yet you are still surrounded by trees. The hot tub on the deck, while a bit on the smaller side is a nice option for relaxing. The back screened in deck is great especially if weather creeps in.
WILDLIFE is in fact there. We got visited by a Momma bear and THREE cubs, so depending on the season you go, be alert to them being around a corner. I was looking off the rail near the covered hammock and turned around only to be 5 to 6 feet from a cub with the Momma bear at the foot of the stairs. I never heard them, and they were there. We kept an eye out all week from that point on. They arent aggressive, but they are in fact bears. Loud noises and a few handfulls of gravel and they simply moved on, but not before the cubs climbed trees making for great photo opportunities.
Overall our time here was excellent. It's only a 5 to 10 min ride to Food City and Pigeon Forge so if you need something, it's not far away. We are thankful for such a great experience and plan on returning here again next year. If you've never rented a cabin, and are on a budget, this is perfect, at least it was perfect for us. I can't really pick out a flaw or low point at all. It's a well kept, many perks, clean , well stocked , very well cared for cabin. We live 45 minutes away and it felt like we were 100's of miles from home which was the plan and because of how great everything was, mission accomplished!!!!!!! 5 stars easily!
Thank You Jim Bradield for everything!!!!!!! We will be talking again in the furture!!!
Cabin exactly as described. Close location to Dollywood and Pigeon Forge. Easy road to cabin, much less steep and curvy than others we have rented. Cabin has everything you need. Screened in porch great for morning coffee and late evening hangout. Cabin is private/secluded doesn't feel like you are in a cabin subdivision. Furnishings in great condition. Owner is quick to communicate, available and great to work with. Highly recommend this cabin for everyone.
We had a great 4 days at PJ's Delight. Tha cabin was clean and a great view. Traveled with 3 teenage girls and they had a blast. Learned to play pool ! I would recommend this cabin to anyone. Girls weekend and even family's. Thank you to the owner for his communication!
