We really enjoyed our stay. This condo is on the first floor with no one above it. It has a nice patio area for eating and relaxing outside. They did a great job on remodeling this condo, making it feel modern. We will try to book this place in the future if it is available for our trips to Carlsbad.
My husband and I really enjoyed the condo in Carlsbad. The location was perfect and we enjoyed being able to walk to many great restaurants, our favorite was Fish House Vera Cruz. The condo was nicer than we imagined. It was so clean and the kitchen was so well stocked. Gary was the perfect host, he was so nice every time I called him with some minor questions ( how to work the TV ). I loved the Farmers Market which was right up the street from us. The walk to the beach was great and so close. I would surely recommend the condo to friends and family, we loved it so much we have already booked it for next year. Thank You Gary and see you in 2016. Linda and Ron Lenfield Oakley, Utah
Our recent stay at the condo in Carlsbad couldn't have been better! We arrived a few days before Christmas and the relaxation began. We loved the condo and it's proximity to the beach and the fun shops and restaurants in town. On Christmas day we spent the morning with a few traditional activities and then we went to the beach! The condo had everything we needed and was clean and well maintained. The manager was accommodating and easy to work with. We would definitely stay again and highly recommend this location to friends and family. We loved the enclosed patio at the condo, the beach with it's beautiful sunsets, the town and restaurants, and the Music Museum. San Diego is not far and we loved the Point Loma Lighthouse and eating in the Gas Lamp District . Definitely a 5 star vacation!
We had a wonderful time at Casa Suprema!! The grounds around the condo were so much fun for our two small grandchildren who loved being in and around the Australian Tea Tree. We took pictures of the beautiful flowers and actually spent very little time in the condo. The condo itself had everything we needed and was comfortable. The location was very prime since it was only a block away from the ocean. As I said we didn't spend much time inside because of the beauty surrounding us and the delightful weather. It was a wonderful time for all of us and we would recommend this place to everyone wanting to go to Carlsbad. Thanks Gary & Deb, you also made it easy to make the arrangements. We will be back, the Lord willing and the creek don't rise.
The pictures on this web site are right on. The amenities listed, were all there, and more. The only thing I would say is that the parking spaces provided are very narrow/small. If you have a large vehicle, like we do, beware of this. If you have more than one car, you must park on the street.
It is so close to the village, beach, restaurants, literally right around the corner. The property was very clean, inside and out. The owners, Gary and Debra, were really easy to talk to, get a hold of and really nice. I would and have recommend this property to family and friends, even strangers. :)
We went to the beach every day or night, had the chance to enjoy the sunsets every night. We went to Legoland and Sea Life Aquarium (one of the only times we actually had to use our car), we walked the village and did some shopping, we took the Coaster to San Diego to go to Seaport Village and Gaslamp. We loved Cessy's, Norte, Cafe on the corner, Gregorio's and Carlsbad Beach Grill. There is also a Cold Stone, Linda's Yogurt, Starbucks and Jamba Juice! The Daily News, I personally did not enjoy, but the service was good.
You have to share a laundry room with the entire unit, there are only two washers and two dryers. I noticed that as long as you did your laundry during the week morning or day, there wasn't a problem, but on the weekends or at night, there was a long wait. For those who don't know, this Condo is owned by the same guy who owns the Carlsbad Flower Fields. Very cool history.
This is the place to go, if you want to be in the heart of the village and be able to walk to everything you need. Great for families. My children who are 8 and 10 years old, did not want to leave. :)
