About Ken Lee

I have owned this unit, Snowcreek #43, since 2004, but have been traveling to Mammoth since 1992. My children started skiing at an early age, and now they board and ski all over the mountain. I had stayed at many complexes all throughout Mammoth Lakes, but always came back to Snowcreek because of the low density of buildings, spacious units, walking areas, plentiful parking and, of course, the beautiful meadow. Since Mammoth is a year round resort area, each season is special. The fairways at Sierra Star and Snowcreek Golf Course are as green as Augusta, Georgia in the early summer. The hikes are plentiful, the many lakes are a fisherman's paradise and the fall colors are amazing. The size of Mammoth Mountain and the diversity of the ski trails are unique to California. Catch your first lift off the bottom, and the whole mountain opens up allowing even the intermediate skier to experience the mountain from one end to the other. I try to get to Mammoth whenever possible, enjoying the time away if even just for long weekends. Summer months are filled with various local music festivals, opportunities to explore Reds Meadow and Devils Postpile, or spending an afternoon beaching at June Lake. Spring and Fall are wonderful seasons for bike rides, long walks or a massage in town. Coming from the LA area, I love the fresh mountain air, views of the snow-capped mountains and the opportunities to see the amazing star-filled skies on a typical clear night. My goal is to provide a guest experience that our friends and family would appreciate. The condo has been furnished with all of the amenities and features that make it cozy and comfortable. It's my second home and I hope that you'll enjoy it as much as I do.

Why Ken Lee chose Mammoth Lakes

I have traveled fairly extensively for work purposes, but coming to Mammoth is always serene, visually breathtaking and an easy drive from LA. There are many alternative vacation options in Mammoth, but I specifically decided to purchase a unit at Snowcreek because of its well maintained property, lovely and generous open grounds with walking trails, ponds, meadow and the flowing mountain creek. Being surrounded by the snow-capped Minarets and Mammoth Mountain also bring a special atmosphere. Being proximate to the Snowcreek Athletic Club, which provides tennis courts, indoor and outdoor pool, Jacuzzi, exercise classes and a restaurant, is an added bonus. The Athletic Club provides for day passes which is a great way to get exercise or do a workout class. Parking for the units is ample, which is a truly unique amenity at Snowcreek. From my unit, it is a short walk to the Red Line shuttle stop, as well as to the 9 hole Snowcreek Golf Course, which has plans to expand to a full 18 holes. Another asset is the proximity to June Mountain, Yosemite, Mono Lake, Bodie and the small towns surrounding Mammoth Lakes, each with it's own character and charms.

What makes this condo unique

Since #43 is an end corner unit, it is very peaceful. It is located away from the road, which also adds to its tranquility and quiet. Outside unit 43, we are surrounded by resort grounds with wild flowers and a small grove of birch trees, and located next to the Jacuzzi building. A short 5 min walk to the Winter shuttle bus service allows you to leave your car at the resort to avoid the occasional mountain parking hassles. Our wire-less internet, propane gas bar-b-que, spacious, comfortable accommodations, and fully furnished kitchen make this truly a home-like setting.

A big, cozy cabin, great for a ski trip with a group of friends

The cabin is spacious for 8 people and maintained in a great condition. It's in a quiet location and not too far from the Eagle lodge as well as the downtown. The owner, Ken addressed all my concerns in a timely manner. We really enjoy staying here and hopefully come back again soon!

Great and cozy unit with an low price!

Ken’s unit offers a great location and environment to stay with friends and family. It has all the ammeneties that you would ever need, it is pretty much a complete house with a personal Mammoth Lakes touch and cozy furnishing.

This was our second time staying here and it was amazing as the first time. Will look forward to staying here again on my next mammoth lakes trip!

Excellent location, perfect for a large family, very clean with many amenities

This was our 3rd year staying in this rental. As before, we had an excellent experience. This property is very close to public transportation and has plenty of room for our extended family. The bedrooms are large, kitchen is well stocked, three full baths were perfect for our group, nice outdoor storage for ski equipment, living and dining areas have plenty of space. Ken is very easy to work with and his place gave us many wonderful family memories! We would highly recommend this property to others and would love to come again ourselves.

A Great Place for Families

This is my 3rd time staying at this place and I'm still very satisfied. It is spacious with great amenities. It's biking distance to Vons and Starbucks and close to Mammoth Village. The owner is attentive to your concerns and needs. I definitely recommend this condo for any families looking for a comfortable and spacious place to vacation.

Cozy place

We enjoyed our stay. There are plenty of beds for everyone. Loves the hot water supply with no interruptions. Good washer and drier.

We did not use the jacuzzi but it is just steps away.

I would highly recommend this place.

Only 60 minutes to Yosemite, 30 minutes to June Lake, 15 minutes to Mono Lake. Proximate to Snowcreek Athletic Club (additional fee required) for all gym and work out activities, including massages. Across the street from Snowcreek Golf Course. Just a great location minutes from town and the creekside bikepath.

The security deposit, less cleaning fee, is returned to the renter when the condo keys are returned.
