Breathtaking Views

  • 5 of 5

We just spent our second visit at this beautiful home with spectacular mountain views, and as with the first trip six years ago, it did not disappoint! The house is very comfortable for our family of 3 and is the perfect place to relax, rejuvenate and spend time together away from the real world. Could not ask for a better location and we left there hoping to come back again. If you want to get away from it all - work, cell phones, etc. and take in the beauty of the mountains, then this place is perfect.

This is our second stay here and we are already talking about next year. This house is great - beautifully laid out, modern appliances, everything up-to-date. I cannot say enough great things about the house and surrounding property. The views are simply amazing. We found ourselves just lazing around a couple of days - maybe going into Ridgeway late afternoon to check email. We've spent much time in this part of CO and driven many of its scenic roads - so chose to hang around here because we knew we wouldn't find any spot more beautiful, serene and peaceful. There are elk, deer, turkeys and many chipmunks! The owner, Mike, is very much the nice guy. He couldn't be more helpful and friendly. I feel as if we're "old friends". I highly recommend this place (even though I'd love to keep it to myself!!!). Thanks for sharing with us again, Mike. We didn't want to leave and are planning on staying longer next summer!

Paradise in the Mountains!!

  • 5 of 5

We are returning guests and cannot say enough wonderful things about this incredible property!! We leave and we are already planning our next visit. Our family of 4 (2 kids - ages 11 and 8) think that this location is absolute paradise. The kids are able to snowboard/sled on the property, snowshoe, hike, climb rocks, and many other things that all kids should be able to do. They get up in the morning and they are out the door enjoying the wonderful location. We also love the astronomy lessons that our kids can do at gazing is amazing! This property is located perfectly - close and easy access to towns (including Telluride), but not too close if you want to escape the city life. We are so very thankful to Mike for allowing us to share in his paradise!! Amazing location, house, amenities...can't wait until we visit again!! Thank you!!

Absolutely beautiful! Both home and views!

  • 5 of 5

Four of us traveled to Ridgeway from the Colorado Springs area to view the fall colors and do some fall kayaking. This home with the floor to ceiling windows overlooking Mt. Sneffles and the mountain range was so relaxing that one of our days we chose to stay home and enjoy the solitude and breathtaking beauty. During our time there we heard Coyotes talking to each other, Elk bugling and Turkey's passing through. On our last morning there we saw about 12 Elk walk across the meadow. Michael was a wonderful host and was available by phone if needed. Anyone looking for a peaceful and beautiful place to spend time should consider this property!

I'd give this property more than five stars if they were available. This is a beautiful house. The views of Mt. Sneffle from almost every window, the wildlife wandering around the property, and the privacy afforded were all simply amazing. The house itself is wonderful - very well laid out, great fully equipped kitchen, washer & dryer (very welcome at that point in our trip!) and did I mention the views????? There are windows everywhere to take advantage of the spectacular scenery. You can lie in bed at night and see multitudes of stars from every vantage point. Mike was extremely friendly and helpful - also very patient and understanding when I put the wrong zip code on the check I mailed! We fully intend to stay at this amazing place again. Thanks for sharing with us, Mike.

We could not have asked for a better vacation. The home is spectacular! The views are magnificent!! The pictures listed here are great but to experience it is wonderful. Mike made sure we were well taken care of and answered all our questions. We grilled out every night and packed a picnic for the day to go on our hikes! When you walk behind the house to the meadow you will be able to see at least 100 herd of elk...fabulous!! Right out our bedroom window and front window several days we saw deer. We did not really want to venture to far off because we enjoyed the relaxation of the home and the gorgeous views of Mt. Sneffles, we could not get enough of the views! We highly recommend renting Mike's house!! Thank you Mike for opening your house to us it made for such a fantastic vacation!!
