About Mary Looram, Looram and Associates LLC.
My husband and I purchased this home when he was stationed at Ft. Ord. We have 5 children and needed a big home. It was a wonderful place to bring up our family. Now they live all over the world. We need to be in New York but we gather together from time to time at Willow Street. Our family has grown to 19 with 8 grandchildren.
Mary Looram, Looram and Associates LLC. purchased this House in 1975
What makes this House unique
We love the Victorian bones of our home with high ceilings and stained glass windows. It is a bright, cheery ,comfortable home perfect for families getting together to celebrate birthdays, anniversaries, etc. We enjoy the backyard because of it's privacy using the hot tub and fire pit. A great place to hang out at the end of the day.

2nd time we have stayed at this beautiful home. Amazing location. Walked to everything.
By far the best vacation property available in Monterey/Pacific Grove. We all loved the backyard with the fire pit and jacuzzi.
Unique and charming
Staying in Mary's place was like staying at your grandmother's house -- but even better! The house is so cute and quaint. It is truly a special place as this is where they raised their family. Seeing remnants of them raising children here -- like the height measurements on the door frame inside the pantry, and the photos of their family -- made us realize that we were in a very special place.
All 9 of us enjoyed breakfast around the big round table in the kitchen every morning. We enjoyed sitting in the front room, and watching movies upstairs. The fresh cut flowers on the table just made things even more beautiful.
There are some quirks with the house like waiting for the hot water before showering -- but it was built in 1896 -- so what do you expect? We never felt like we were sacrificing. It was truly a wonderful stay!
If you want a very memorable vacation in a unique and charming home -- then look no further.
Also we loved walking to Lovers Point, the Grove Market, and Pavel's Bakery (amazing pastries!!!) You really can't beat the location.
Dear Josh and family,
Thank you for this lovely review. It warms my heart. Yes, we do have a few quirks but as you said it is a "Historic House", one of the originals in Pacific Grove.
I am delighted you and your family enjoyed our home. Our family made so many happy memories there. We love to share our Victorian with other families so they can create their own.
I love that you noticed the height chart. Our 8th and youngest grandchild was measured there this past Christmas.
Thank you for taking the time to write this review. Unfortunately, there are a number of Pacific Grove residents that want to do away with Short Term Rentals. I wish they could read letters like yours. It shows you not only enjoyed Pacific Grove but shopped at local stores and contributed to the local economy.
Well located large Pacific Grove Home for Family Reunion, Celebration and Holiday Meal
We rented this home for a family celebration (surprise birthday) and Passover meal. Mary, the owner, and Brenda, the welcomer, answered my various questions regarding the property as I had a number of requests to make everything work out well. The logistics and their responsiveness was great as was the location to the water, stores/restaurants, and the aquarium. There was plenty of room in the house for all and everybody enjoyed their stay.
Thank you so much for taking the time to write a review. I am so happy everyone was pleased and the Surprise and Passover Meal went well. The location is convenient to downtown PG and the path along the bay which leads to the Aquarium. We are delighted to share our home with other families.

Fantastic house for a large group!
This house was perfect for our group of 10 women in town for our high school reunion. Very clean, great location with walking distance to the ocean & local restaurants. 5 bedrooms slept 10 comfortably. We were greeted & walked through the entire house - very excellent hosts. Thank you for a wonderful stay - we will be back!
Thank you, ladies. So happy our home was able to accommodate all of you for that special reunion.
You are more than welcome to return anytime. Thanks for taking the time to write a review. It is much appreciated.
A wonderful Victorian with room to spare
We really enjoyed our stay. The house has so much character and our host made us feel at home and even took care to return some items we accidentally left behind. The house has so much history, especially the group of family photos throughout the years. Would definitely stay here again.
Thanks so much for your lovely review. I am very happy you and your friends enjoyed our home. It was wonderful weather for the watching golf.
Brenda told me she would send you what was left behind. I love having my greeters meet our guests in person and making them feel at home. I think this is added value to staying in someone's home.
I would love to have you and your friends back next year. Thanks again for choosing our home for your stay on the peninsula and taking the time to write a review.

Fabulous & Cozy
This is the third time that I have rented the Victorian on Willow Street for myself and a few colleagues while we attend a conference at Asilomar. I adore this home. It is filled with the life and love of the Looram family, whose family photos through the decades adorn the kitchen wall. It is incredibly spacious and comfortable; a little bit quirky, very well-kept, filled with the right stuff for everything from cooking to reading to hot-tubbing. And now, two adult passes to the Monterey Bay Aquarium are thoughtfully provided as well; what a bonus! Thank you, thank you. Hope to be back next year!
Happy you and your colleagues enjoyed our home. Thanks for taking the time to write a review.
Hope you can return again. Yes, I agree it is spacious and comfortable. We have made many happy memories there and we love sharing so others can make their own. Thanks for choosing our home for your yearly conference at Asilomar.
