Lower Level: 3 Bedrooms each w/Double bed, Bedroom #6 with 2 Bunk Beds (S/S), 2 Full Hall Baths, Covered Patio, W/D, Charcoal and Gas Grill, and Easy Beach Access just across the street! One dog is considered with a $200 pet fee, applicable pet policy signed, and records received prior to arrival. Dog must be approved by Carroll Realty. I grew up going to the Isle of Palms enjoying the sand and surf on front beach or fishing and crabbing at Breach Inlet or in Hamlin Creek. I no longer live in the Charleston area, but my family and I stay on the Isle of Palms each summer to enjoy two weeks on the beach. My kids look forward every year to doing the things I did as a kid plus new ones. It has always been a pleasure doing business with Carroll Realty. We are looking forward to getting back on the beach soon.

The Location was everything and unfortunetly....all this Rental has to offer!

Just because an agency claims a property is old or tired does not mean that it has to be filthy & uncomfortable! This was a late decision so choice was not much of an option when needing 5/6 bedrooms and 3 baths. That said... the key only opened one of the 3 doors (rusted old locks), the outside deck was unusable due to large splinters, no seating but a worn wood bench splintering, unusable gas grill (charcoal was a small square cinder block w/rusted grate) & iron table w chairs off of enclosed porch was no better. On arrival ..all quilts had to be washed, there were only mattress covers (blood stained & unwashed) for some of the beds, not all. The kitchen floor was sticky & dirty as were all surfaces on counters. The dish washer, although it had been run, was VERY full & most items had to be hand washed before using. The fully stocked Kitchen was laughable as we had to first find everything after removing crumbs galore in the silverware drawer and holder before I could cover the backing sheets with foil before use! We were called on Fri. prior to our occupancy on Sat. & told we could pick the key up for an early arrival (positive) and it was a good thing since all of Sat. was spent preparing the property so that we could all "make the most of it". We checked out a day early. 6 days was plenty to deal with the infestation of ants on the exterior of the property. The A/C works well. Lastly, we found a set of keys on-top of the back electric meter next to the entrance (yes they did work on the locks). Unacceptable regarding the SAFETY of our children, grandchildren, and belongings! This was meant to be a very special week that only left my husband & I rather disappointed, especially for the money!

Great Family Vacation House

Recently my family and I stayed at this house and enjoyed it very much. It was clean and well maintained and the folks at Carroll's Realty were very helpful and informative. The beach access is right across the street and the beachfront is very clean and not crowded. There are plenty of places to eat and a grocery store and marina close. Before making my reservations I had read a review that, in my opinion should be removed. The website clearly states that linens are not provided and this review complained about there being none. Futhermore, the house is

not expensive which allows many families the chance to visit this wonderful place. I cannot express my appreciation enough for the folks at Carroll's Real Estate and highly recommend them as agents.

Great "large" family getaway

We had a fantastic time and plenty of room in this vintage (yet updated in places) beach house that sits directly across from the beach access. The beach at this location is not terribly busy which was nice. The traffic is a little heavy on Palm Blvd but we didn't have any issues.

We had plenty of room, the kitchen was well stocked with plates, silverware, pots, etc...

Lots of room to socialize and the dining table is fantastic!

Lots of outdoor living space and we loved the rocking chairs!

Recommendations for visitors: Bring sheets (there are pillows) and towels. This is obviously listed on the website but just in case. Also, there are some supplies there left from previous visitors so I would go shopping after you have reviewed the "stock".

No Sheets?

The downstairs beds didn't have sheets. That didn't make sense to me. Other than that the house is good.

Great for large parties Needs an update

This rental home is located just one block from the beach, The location is perfect! I would recommend this house for large groups. I like the fact that most bedrooms are downstairs except two the upstairs. The house DOES need an update! Downstairs bathrooms are nice and seem to look updated with nice marble counters, however this house could still use an updating in wall decor, (Norman Rockwall art must go) window coverings, beds, and defiantly more TVS this home is too large for only ONE TV in the living area!! Our mattress was fine and I didn’t hear any complaints from others about their mattress. It's such a beautiful home with potential. I DID LOVE the front screened porch with plenty of seats/rockers, and all the family photos throughout the house were pleasing to look at. I would recommend this rental for girl Scout / boy scout groups or some sort of large parties that just need a place to rest their heads without the need for luxury.

  • Rates are subject to change until reservation is confirmed with a Carroll Realty employee. 50% payment is due within 5 days of making your reservation. Final balance is due 30 days prior to arrival date. We accept Visa, Master Card, or Discover or personal check if more than 30 days from arrival. All reservations are charged a non-refundable $45 damage waiver which covers accidental damages up to $1000.

    Cleaning Fee is waived when staying 7 nights or more. We book weekly only during the summer months from Saturday to Saturday. 3 night minimum any other time. You can book online at or call Carroll Realty at 1-800-845-7718. Pet fees, if applicable, and damage waiver are non-refundable. No exceptions.
  • Damage deposit: $500.00
