Why Mira Honeycutt chose Central Coast

We fell in love with Paso Robles, its people and the region's wines.

What makes this house unique

We enjoy the quiet charm of Paso Robles in our private residence. And attend the various wine and food festivals throughout the year. We enjoy meeting our local winemaker friends and walk to downtown visiting wine tasting bars and gourmet restaurants. We love driving around to vineyards and farms and specially enjoy the local farmers markets in Templeton and Paso Robles.

Perfect location

  • 5 of 5

We came up to Paso from OC for the Penman Springs pick up party. This house was great. The location is an easy walk to town where lots of restaurants and wineries are. The home is comfortable (we only used 1 of the 2 bedrooms). We loved the spacious backyard! After buying some great cheese in town, we spent a lovely afternoon having wine and cheese just enjoying it! And their DVD selection is great. We snuggled up one night just watching an entertaining movie. The water pressure in the bath is great and the hot water comes in quickly. We had a great time in this home and would return. Mira was lovely to deal with. Cheers!

The Cabernet Cottage was perfect for our stay in Paso Robles. The house was clean, comfortable and well stocked. The location is very convenient to the downtown shops and restaurants and provided easy access out to the wineries in the region.

Great Holiday

  • 5 of 5

Really enjoyed our stay at Cabernet Cottage. Great location, walkable to downtown and super easy access to 101. The house is very well equipped and nicely kept. We have stayed in a lot of vacation rentals and I am sure that this was the most well stocked house that we have rented. Nice touches like tasting discount cards and lots of local information were appreciated. Mia was very responsive and on top of everything.

Great vacation cottage in Paso

  • 5 of 5

We stayed here with our very young daughter and the house worked out great. It was convenient to downtown and all the wineries and gave us great flexibility, which is especially necessary when traveling with a small child. We enjoyed cooking in the kitchen and the backyard patio/garden area was fantastic.

Perfect spot in Paso

  • 5 of 5

Came to Paso for the first time from San Francisco. Cottage was very comfortable and homey - lots of light, neat and clean. The patio out back is very relaxing and perfect for pre-dinner wine and cheese (from Vivant!). Mira provided a list of restaurant recommendations that was so appreciated. Lots to do in town, just a short walk from the cottage, and easy scenic drive to the wineries.

Our Weekend in the Wine Country

  • 5 of 5

The Cabernet Cottage was wonderful. We were in Paso to celebrate our brothers 60th Birthday. The four other couples stopped in for appetizers before leaving for dinner and we were the envy of the group with our wonderful accommodations. The Cottage is so cozy and decorated so fitting for the house. The kitchen was larger than expected and well stocked with the necessities. I was sorry we weren't able to enjoy the large covered patio weather was a bit chilly. We will have to save that for our next trip. Mira gave us a list of recommendations that we so appreciated. The restaurant Artisan was superb we also highly recommend Vivant cheese store, just a short walk from the cottage. Thank you too Mira for the complimentary wine tasting cards.
