Come share in the serenity and beauty of South Beach living, as we have done for over 15 years. Located at the point where the Atlantic Ocean and Calibogue Sound meet, the area is ideal for any and all water activities you can imagine. Come find your peaceful vacation within the gated community of Sea Pines Plantation.

Our villa has an updated kitchen with cabinets and granite counters, including new appliances, dishware, cooking utensils. A granite breakfast bar was added for additional seating and to take advantage of the views of Calibogue Sound. A favorite spot for children during breakfast. Both bathrooms have custom vanities with granite counters and porcelain tile floors. The entire villa has been repainted, and all furnishing were selected by an interior decorator to match the decor one expects on a vacation by the ocean. New custom blinds in both bedrooms and living room. New sleeper sofa, new couch , and new love seat. Located on the top floor, this 2 bed/2 bath villa is light and bright. Living room/dining/kitchen areas feature tiled floors and cathedral ceilings, and these areas, as well as the balcony, all look west to the Calibogue Sound and all those spectacular sunsets. Conveniently located in the South Beach Marina area - guests will be close to dining, shopping, tennis, golfing, boating activities, bike trails and more. All of this, and just a short 70 yard walk to the beach!

Bluff Villas are at the southern end of Sea Pines Plantation. The area provides numerous water activities to enjoy, or to take a leisurely stroll along the ocean and watch the dolphins frolicking along the water's edge. The South Beach Marina Village, home of the world famous Salty Dog Cafe and only steps from Bluff Villas, provides shops, restaurants, and charter tours on the water. The Village is where you'll also find the community pool if the beach isn't to your taste, and numerous high quality tennis courts (costs may apply). Sea Pines has over 20 miles of bike paths, four golf courses, including the Harbor Town Club (home to the Heritage Classic golf tournament), tennis courts of all types, an equestrian center, and a wildlife preserve to explore. What makes this villa unique

This Sea Pines area has so much to offer. We can't imagine picking another plantation. There is plenty of dolphin sightings on the sound. The nature preserve is beautiful, especially when the flower gardens are in full bloom. You can always spot an alligator in one of the many lagoons. There is a huge alligator by the Ocean Gate lagoon.

Notes:
Keyless entry allows for easy access and improved security, and is sent via email at least two weeks before your scheduled entry. Gate pass to enter Sea Pines is provided as part of the rental. Amenities starter package is provided with the rental rate free-of-charge. Amenities include: Two towels and washcloth per occupant, soap in each bath, dishwasher detergent for three loads, two rolls of toilet paper per bathoom, a dishrag, and a starter roll of paper towels. Community pool is steps from the villa. Pool pass is $70 per week, or $12 per day from the South Beach Inn & Marina across from pool. We will provide up to $35/week in rental rebate on the purchase of pool passes. Receipt required.

Great location and accomodations

Very pleased that we found this gem on Hilton Head. Locations was a short walk to the quiet part of the beach. Close to The Salty Dog too! This 2-bedroom unit was very clean and nicely decorated. Owners were very responsive to any questions too.

Very peaceful, tranquil setting, perfect view from balcony and sun on balcony nice in evening!

This was our 4th trip to Hilton Head and the best condo we have stayed in. We like being close to the sound, it is a quieter side of the ocean and saw dolphins every day! Very quiet part of the island, hardly any traffic on the little road into the complex because it is a cul-de-sac almost right in front of the property, so very quiet and peaceful to sit on balcony. The rooms are decorated nice, clean too! Large dining area! It is on 3rd floor but the exercise was good! I would stay in this particular condo again, hopefully next time a little longer!

Great location to enjoy South Beach and Seapines resort. Villa has been updated and had everything we needed for our family of 4. Owners were quick to respond to questions and very easy to work with. We will definitely consider renting again!

Updated, clean and beautiful!

We were so sad to leave! We had a wonderful week. The location is great, very quiet, right by beach but also close to South Beach activities. The condo was perfect for our family of four, very comfortable, nicely updated and furnished with everything we needed. We spent a lot of time relaxing on the balcony looking over the beach. We rented bikes right next door and the trolley is very convenient. Thanks for everything!

We couldn't have enjoyed the condo more. Everything we needed and then some. Beautiful views, perfect location. Close to quiet beach but next to Salty Dog, etc. Very clean and comfortable! Plenty of room for our family of 4.

Spring Break 2017--Outside & Unplugged (mostly)

1718 was perfect for our family of 3 (daughter is 13). We only had to pester Todd once when we couldn't decipher how to lock the door when leaving the unit. We visited Hilton Head once in 2010 & are happy we visited again (& plan to put it on our 'vacation rotation'). We only went to the beach once during our stay. It is super close & beautiful. No need to bring the wagon, it's a quick 2 minute walk across the street-through the pines & you're there. We saw many dolphins in those few hours. Rented bikes there, convenient & reasonable($32/bike/week). We live in an area (suburbs of St. Louis) that doesn't have good bike paths, so essentially we biked all over the island most days. We enjoyed the freedom of stopping in somewhere for a snack, drink or ice cream & then moving on to the next place. We also did some volunteering. Through volunteermatch.org we signed up with the Outside Foundation to help clean up Shelter Cove in kayaks. Win-Win! The Salty Dog has good food, nice staff. Salty Dog Ice Cream has superb ice cream & super friendly staff. The best meal we had was at Skull Creek Boathouse (a little drive, but YUM!). We were quoted an 1.5 hour wait-however, the high tops outside are first come, first serve. About 15 minutes & we had a seat. We got the biggest kick out of spotting alligators on our bike rides (we don't have those in Missouri!) Rode several times over to Harbour Town (we MUCH prefer the South Beach area), then through Deer Island (cute little octagon houses), back through a wooded path (a local person told us about the route--it felt like we were riding through Jurassic Park-minus the T-Rex) that took us back to a main road. Dinner cruise with Vagabond, food was good, staff was excellent. Stopped several times to scratch the ears of the horses at Lawton Stables (trails were pricey, but the place is immaculate). Folks (owners & visitors) around our unit were very friendly & helpful. We were trying to locate the recycling in the area & a 'neighbor' offered to take our bags of recycle the day we left out--so nice! It was a nice week of being unplugged (mostly)--outside, sunshine & nice ocean breeze! Spent one day in Savannah. freesavannahtours.com guide (Chris) was great! Entertaining & educational! Also check out Alex Raskin Antiques in Savannah if you have time. (Driving out we stopped at the Georgia Aquarium. Early bird tickets $30.95, Behind the Scenes Tour $15-worth every penny. Whale sharks are AMAZING!) We'll be back!!

Refundable damage deposit $200
Tax Rate 10.0%

PETS: No pets allowed. Failure to comply with this requirement will subject guest to immediate loss of the villa’s use for the remainder of the time period purchased, and the further loss of any security deposit.

SMOKING: This villa is smoke-free, including the balcony area. Failure to abide by the no smoking request will cause loss of the security deposit.

AGREEMENT CANCELLATION AND CHANGE POLICY: Guest shall inform Owner by phone and in writing of Guest’s intent to cancel Agreement (the “Cancellation”). For cancellation received by owner:
• On more than 30 days prior to commencement of the Rental Term: Rental deposit and security deposit shall be refunded, less $100 cancellation fee.
• Less than 30 days prior to commencement of Rental Term: Guest shall forfeit the original payment of 50% of the total amount due (includes 50% of the rent, deposit, and taxes) unless the following condition is met:

 Guest rebooks subject to availability for another rental term. A new rental Agreement must be executed and the full prepayment of any additional Rent and Taxes related to new Agreement must be received. Reductions of the Rental Term (subject to minimum stay) must be submitted in writing to Owner prior to Due Date.


OWNER RESERVATION CHANGE AND CANCELLATION POLICY: In the unlikely event that the Premises become unavailable for any part of the tenancy specified herein, Owner’s liability shall be limited to refunding monies for the portion of the Rental Term made unavailable. As a courtesy, the Owner will help Guest find comparable accommodations.

  • 50% refund if canceled at least 14 days before arrival date.
  • 100% refund if canceled at least 30 days before arrival date.
