Pacifico is a private, top quality resort and residential development at the entrance to Playa del Coco. We own two identical, ground floor, 1 bedroom condos in Pacifico. This is the listing for Pacifico Lifestyle Condo #L504. Our other Pacifico Lifestyle Condo #L204 is VRBO listing number 863012. These two units face each other across the river pool. Some guests traveling with friends and family rent both condos to accommodate the members in their party.

The property is a 20 - 30 minute drive or taxi ride from the Liberia airport. The atmosphere is casual and very relaxing. The grounds are beautifully landscaped and feature four great pools that are very well maintained. The "River" pool and Poolside Bar and Grille are a few steps from our patio. All four pools on the property are available to guests.

When you wake in the morning you can hear the sounds of birds and monkeys in the surrounding trees and hills. The walk to the top of the hill will get your heart pumping, and the view of the bay at Playa del Coco is breath taking.

The condo is a spacious and has over 1,000 square feet of living space. It is completely furnished with a local/tropical feel. The unit has an open floor plan and and has lots of natural light. There is a 30 X 8 foot covered patio terrace furnished with a table and chairs for outside dining and chairs/chaises for relaxing comfortably in all types of weather. The condo and terrace look out on the free-syle river pool that connects with a lap pool and is surrounded by lush and tranquil garden areas. There is a private gate on the patio that opens to a paved path to the pool and pool bar and grill which is about 50 feet away.

The Automercado supermarket is next to the Pacifico Retail Center and newly opened Hard Rock Cafe. The Retail Center, restaurants, and market are a five minute walk from the condo. The town center is about a ten minute walk and the main beach is about a 15 minute walk.

Guests may want to access the exclusive Pacifico Beach Club with two infinity pools, poolside cabanas, beach-side lawn area, and terrific restaurant and bar. There are fees charged by the Pacifico Management Association and Beach Club for using the Pacifico Beach Club, and access is based on availability and management discretion. It is a 3 to 5 minute drive or about a 20 minute walk from the condo to the Beach Club. There is usually a shuttle four times per day. The Playa del Coco beach is set in a beautiful, protected crescent bay. The water is clean, warm, child friendly, and inviting. The town and beach of Playa del Coco provide all manner of water sports, tours, and outdoor activities.

The town of Playa del Coco and nearby Ocotal have a wide variety of restaurants to choose from. It is an easy drive to other nearby beaches of Ocotal and Hermosa, a golf course, volcanoes, river tours, and surfing.

Playa del Coco feels close to everything, but is nicely secluded. For surfers it is recognized as the number one beach for launching day trips to Ollie's Point, Witches Rock, and some of the islands and beaches on the border between Nicaragua and Costa Rica. Or, you can make the easy drive to Playa Grande, Tamarindo, Avellanas, Playa Negra, and points further south.

Playa Conchal is a favorite beach to visit for people who want to see one of the few white sand beaches on the west coast. There are great restaurants and places to enjoy lazy afternoons.

Playa del Coco is a great spot to come for a quick get-away due to its accessibility to the Liberia airport. And it is a fantastic spot for those long stays due to its easy access to so many of Costa Rica's best known attractions.

PACIFICO BEACH CLUB ACCESS AND FEES

The Pacifico Beach Club Restaurant and Bar are open to guests and there are no access fees. The Pacifico Beach Club poolside and beachfront amenities may also be available to guests for a fee charged and collected by the club. There are occasional private events and capacity limits so daily access is also based on availability and management’s discretion concerning the capacity of the club’s facilities. During Holiday Weeks and High Season it is helpful to arrive early. If you would like to take advantage of this amenity, please visit the Beach Club during your stay and ask the front desk personnel to assist you.

Pacifico Beach Club Access Fees:

Guests must complete a registration form, attached a color copy of their ID or Passport and pay the applicable guest fees:

· Monthly Short-Term Renter Guest Fee = $200 per person (including Children 18 & older)

· Weekly Short-Term Renter Guest Fee - $70 per person (including Children 18 & older)

· Daily Short-Term Renter Guest Fee = $25 per person (including Children 18 & older).

Short-Term Guest fees will not be applied towards charges for food & beverages during the Short-Term Guest’s stay at the Beach Club.

The number of Short-Term Renter Guests of a Member will be restricted to a maximum number of 2 persons (including Children 18 & older) for a 1 bedroom residence. You can request exceptions to this rule at the Beach Club.

We love the climate in the Northwest part of the country, and the easy accessibility to the airport and to the many wonderful sights and activities. Pacifico is a great resort development with owners and residents from all over the world. The town of Playa del Coco had a terrific local, beach town feel. The development is excellent quality and the vibe is very relaxed and easy. We have a number of guests who have returned every year since we purchased the condo in 2009.

What makes this condo unique

The pace of life slows down. Pacifico has incredibly great access to a wide variety of attractions. The beach club offers a terrific experience and is a terrific place to spend the day. We love watching the sunset and enjoying the terrific restaurant and bar. Pacifico and Playa del Coco have a real Costa Rican feel without the heavy tourism of Tamarindo or Jaco. We like the feeling of seclusion without feeling isolated. If you want the nightlife and high-intensity of Tamarindo, it is only a 40 minute drive away.

Beautiful Condo

The condo is,clean and well furnished. The grounds are maintained well and absolutely beautiful! The condo is,centrally located to grocery stores, shops, and many beaches. Frazier, concierge, was more than helpful. This our 2nd time staying at this location and it did not disappoint.

Fantastic Area

The Condo and the Playa Del Coco area were amazing. The only reason I am giving 4 stars instead of 5 is because we were told that the Temperature of the house could not be lower than 80 during the day and 77 at night for mechanical reasons. Made for some uncomfortable sleeping

We usually ask guests to not set the thermostat below 72 degrees fahrenheit/22 degrees celsius as the air conditioning units tend to lock up if left running for long periods below these temps. Also, we ask guests to shut off the air conditioning when they leave the condo during the day to help save on electricity, but to leave the fans running. I have asked our property management team to adjust our check-in communications for our condo based on your feedback. Thanks again for choosing our condo for your visit.

Excellent Vacation Spot

The condo is located within the beautiful gated community of Pacifico, and it is the perfect vacation getaway. Everything is walking distance, from grocery stores, amazing restaurants in town, to the wonderful beach. The condo is very spacious, and allowed for a perfect stay. I highly recommend this condo and would stay here again in a heartbeat.

Excellent stay

The property is beautiful and well maintained. The pools are nice and there are several to choose from. There was noisy construction going on at one of the pools but it was easy to get away from it by moving to another pool. The unit was comfortable and spacious and it is nice being on the ground floor for easy access. My only comment is there wasn't enough kitchen amenities such as cleaning products or cooking items like oil, spices. It is too expensive to outfit a kitchen for one week so more stuff is needed. Our friends rented another unit and they had everything they needed. There are two grocery stores, one across the street from the Hard Rock Café and another one that the locals use in town. The local grocery store was more expensive for beer than the 'tourist' store.

We ate at Citron and it was far to expensive for the food we got. Congo restaurant was good and their milkshakes are a must. Our activities included diving with Rocket Frog Divers which I highly recommend. We zip-lined at Diamonte Nature Reserve and did the Palo Verde river tour, both worth the money. We booked through Sibu tours for everything and they were great to work with. Would we stay here again, you bet!.

Using PayPal:
There is a Cross Border fee of 3.9% plus $0.30 for each PayPal transaction from outside of Costa Rica.
There is a fee to send money as a personal payment using a debit card or credit card. The fee in the U.S. is 2.9% plus $0.30 USD of the amount you send. For example, if you send $100.00 USD by credit card, the fee would be $3.20 USD ($2.90 + $0.30).
For each deposit from PayPal Banco National charges a minimum service fee of $ 11. For transactions over $2,200 the charge would be 0.5% of the total amount (example: Deposit from PayPal of $2,500 = $12.50 service fee).
Payment by personal check cashed in the US - Bank transfer fees of up to $65.00 will apply to funds received in the US that are subsequently transferred to Costa Rica.

Owner's Cancellation Policy
