Spend your next vacation in our luxury two-story villa in the Mauna Lani Palm Villas. This new, 1,460 square foot unit has plenty of room for your whole family. The main level features a large living room, dining room, gourmet kitchen and two master suites, each with its own bath. Upstairs is a huge loft with two twin beds and lots of extra space.

Beautifully furnished in Hawaiian décor, the villa contains everything you need in your home away from home. The kitchen boasts granite countertops and top of the line appliances. We have everything you need to cook that special meal including pots, pans, dishes, spices and condiments. If you like to barbecue, we have a built in gas grill with wood cabinets, bar sink and granite countertops (a “summer kitchen”) on our lanai.

The Palm Villas is a private gated community nestled between a historic preservation area and the 18th fairway of the Francis H. Ii Brown North Course. The Palm Villas is small, cozy and inviting with only 9 buildings (44 units) spread over 6 acres. It is extremely private and quiet.

The Palm Villas features its own resort-style waterfall pool with oversized spa (hot tub) that seats eight. Adjacent to the pool is a barbecue area and private workout room. Our grounds are lush with tropical foliage and large coconut palm trees swaying in the breeze. The Palm Villas is a very special complex within a very special resort. Located in the heart of Mauna Lani, we are the only community within walking distance of all resort amenities.

Visitors come to Hawaii for the beach and ours don’t disappoint. The private Mauna Lani Beach Club features pure white sand shaded by beautiful coconut palm trees, gentle waves, resort style cabanas, and a restaurant that serves lunch, snacks, and drinks. The boathouse adjacent to the Beach Club offers services for snorkeling, scuba, sunset cruises, whale watching, kayaking, and surfing. In addition to the Beach Club, there are several other beaches on the resort property including a black sand beach. A short drive outside the resort takes you to Hapuna State Park, one of the top rated beaches in America. Hapuna is a great boogie boarding beach. Other beaches along the Kohala Coast provide excellent snorkeling and diving.

Golf is another reason why people visit Hawaii. The two championship courses at the Mauna Lani Resort feature challenging holes and fantastic ocean views. You will enjoy discounted golf rates on both the North and South courses. The famous 15th hole on the South Course is one of the most photographed holes in the sport. There is also a full service Pro Shop and Club House with a gourmet restaurant for your enjoyment. In addition to the two championship courses at Mauna Lani, there are 5 other championship courses within a 15 minute drive of the resort.

And there are even more activities….For walkers, joggers, and bikers, there are 15 acres of ancient Hawaiian fishponds surrounded by miles of walking/jogging paths. Tennis players enjoy the Mauna Lani Racquet Club which is located across the road from the Palm Villas front gate. There are 6 tennis courts, some lighted. A pro shop is also available.

It you want a good work out, The Mauna Lani Spa and Fitness Center offers a fully equipped gym including a weight room, sauna, steam room, and 25 meter lap pool. The Spa is famous for its open air “Fire and Ice” massage. It, too, is located just steps from our front gate.

For those who enjoy shopping and restaurants, there are 14 different restaurants located in the resort. The Shops at Mauna Lani include a Tommy Bahamas store and restaurant, Ruths Chris Steak House, a coffee shop, and a variety of smaller shops, restaurants, and galleries. The gourmet supermarket features Big Island grass-fed beef, fresh caught fish, and locally grown fruits and vegetables. There is also a large deli section with prepared foods for the days when you don’t feel like cooking and a good selection of wines and spirits.

The Mauna Lani Resort is one of the “world’s Top Earth-Friendly Getaways” It is the only beach resort in the U.S. to be included in this list. Mauna Lani Palm Villas - 2 bedroom + loft, EXCELLENT

We (4 adults) had a very comfortable enjoyable 5 nights stay in this lovely vacation unit. It was clean, well furnished with all the necessary dining/kitchen/bathroom essentials. The only problem was the entryway stairs that led straight up to the unit (2nd flr). This was a bit difficult for two seniors in our party. All communication was done by email or text only. We never had any face-to-face contact with anyone. We prefer to have someone meet us upon departure to see that all was in order to ensure a return of our "security deposit". (We were aware that another party moved in that afternoon for 3 weeks). Having our security deposit of $500 held for nearly two weeks+ after our departure is not good business practice. All other vacation rentals we had, do immediate security return.

Aside from that, I highly recommend this unit for vacationers. Great location and lovely gated community!

Excellent place to stay on the Kohala Coast

Stayed there with two adults and two kids aged 5 and 7. This was a GREAT place to stay on our trip to big island. Meticulously furnished and finished condominium with lots of room. Very quiet gated community. The proximity to the pool was fantastic. Most days we had the pool to ourselves, and it was perfect for our kids. Loved having convenient access to some great beaches, and the nice walk through the historic fishponds. Would definitely stay here again! Thank you for a great place to stay!

A fantastic getaway, Quiet

This condo is more than one could expect, quiet , priced right, lots of room, clean , swimming pool/hot tub just a few steps away , shopping and beach access just around the corner. better than the pictures

To be honest, we picked this condo mainly because of the price - it was the best priced unit we could find that was on the second floor (no footsteps above!). It turned out to be a fabulous choice- more stylish than pictured, with cathedral ceilings, two large bedrooms and a bonus loft. Cooking on the built in Thermador grill outside was a treat (even though the lanai does trap the heat somewhat); the pool area is absolutely stunning, and the beach a 12 minute walk (we timed it), down a nice path. We veered slightly towards the hotel at the end of the path and found a nice secluded cove that we had to ourselves most days. Priceless. This unit also has a local management presence, which is great- they are available for help if needed (like when you can't find the iron....). If I was to be picky, the only negative I would note is that the master bed is getting worn and starting to warp abit, and the walls are getting scuffed up and could use a fresh coat of paint in places. Still a great choice- If I can make it back that way I would stay again. Actually, I now dream of moving there!

Excellent Hawaii Condo!

My family of 4 enjoyed the amenities of the condo as well as the grounds of Palm Villas in Mauna Lani last week. First, the communication with Trude was excellent. She was very responsive and helpful. The instructions to access all the amenities were very detailed. I was pleasantly surprised with the physical unit as well. It is quite spacious, the pictures don't do it justice. The layout worked out well for my family, which includes a teenager, with 2 bedrooms on opposite corners and a loft in between upstairs. All three sleeping spaces were very private. We didn't not have any neighbors below or on either side of us, and it was quieter than my own home! The condo is spotless, with no clutter with nice native decor. The kitchen and bathrooms were well stocked, with stainless steel pots, suntan lotion, beach towels..everything we needed! I especially appreciated labels for the lights, fans, etc. Water equipment was also provided- fins, snorkels, boogie boards, chairs. Beds were clean and comfortable. Showers, washer/dryer/ dishwasher all worked well.

The condo complex was also impressive. Most days, we were the only ones at the pool, with a relaxing little waterfall and next to a small fitness center. Our unit backed into the lava park, so scenic. The grounds were kept well. This was the best VRBO rental I've experienced - I highly recommend Trude and Palm Villas for a family looking for a peaceful and relaxing setting without the tourist-y crowds.

Nicely equipped and great location

My husband and I spent 5 days at the Palm Villas in Mauna Lani for a relaxing get away. We highly recommend this condo for those who want a condo within a resort. The condo is a short walk to the Beach Club which is an amazing beach that offers calm water snorkeling and paddle boarding as well as lounge chairs and cabanas. We also enjoyed using the boogie boards, cooler and beach chairs (found in the garage) when visiting local beaches. The condo has a great kitchen with a grill on the deck. We ate on the deck most nights overlooking the lava fields. There is an excellent market within walking distance from the condo. We also enjoyed dinner at the Napua which is the restaurant located at the Beach Club. Dinner was a little pricey but well worth it as the food was excellent and you can't beat the ocean view. Highly recommend this condo.
