Why Jing Nolan chose Niagara Falls
The Hawley House as it is called, built in 1893 was owned by the same family until 1985 with largely no alterations leaving the valuable vintage woodwork intact. Since 2004, besides updating all wiring & plumbing, upstairs flooring and installed period (1920's style) crystal chandeliers in all rooms together with walls and ceilings to match.

The Copper Penny House was perfect for our family of eight. You could not ask for a better location.
Location location location. The Falls were about a mile to the right and to the left was the white water walk, butterfly conservatory, and many other activities. Cute back yard with many squirrels to see and mulberries to eat. I would definitely recommend this home for a fun stay at the falls.
The Copper Penny House
This home is absolutely charming! It is a short distance from many of the activities that Niagara Falls has to offer. The owners took care of things and were very pleasant and a pleasure to deal with. I would definitely return.
Wonderful Niagara Falls vacation home
My wife and I follow the anniversary gift chart and I decided to rent this place as a 7th copper anniversary gift since it is named the Copper Penny House. We stayed three nights and were very impressed with the property. All of the living areas and bedrooms were nice and cozy and the whole house had a charming appeal to it. Very close to the falls but far enough away to be away from all of the craziness down there. We stayed as a family of four plus two other friends and had lots of room for everyone. Owner was easy to work with and we had zero issues with the house. If we ever come back all the way up from Florida, I would definitely love to stay here again.
Close to all the action
This property is just as advertised. An old brick victirian home with lots of charm. It had lots of space for our family of 5. We were able to go to the grocery store (about 4 miles away) and stock up for the week. We made lots of meals at the house to save money but also ate out too. The house is 1 mile to the American falls and 2 miles to the horseshoe falls. So 20 to 40 minutes walk. It is only 6 minutes walk to the WEGO bus stop. The owners were really helpful and took care of all concerns promptly. Only issue for us is since its an old house the wood floors are creaky but I'm a light sleeper and this is to be expected in an older home. We enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend this property.
Great time at Niagara Falls!
From the amazingly clean house, spotless kitchen and bathrooms, to the convenience of location, everything about this place was very very good! We had an incredible experience and everyone enjoyed the vacation! The only problem was the WiFi, we we’re traveling with two kids and a teenager and at night it was difficult to get to use the internet, that being the only difficulty, I am more than happy with my time at this house! I’ll want to go again!
Great little house for a week long stay
Copper Penny house was perfect for our week long stay. The kitchen and bathrooms had everything we needed and the beds were comfortable. The location was quiet and safe. The owner/manager was very helpful and responsive to our questions.
