Cabin, Studio + Loft, 1 Bath, (Sleeps 2-4)
This charming studio guest cabin located in the heart of the Willamette Valley wine country offers stunning views of both the coastal mountains and the vineyard in which it is located. It is just minutes from historic downtown McMinnville with its outstanding restaurants, wine bars and unique shopping opportunities.
The cabin was lovingly constructed in 2008 using recycled/sustainable materials wherever possible. Hand hewn timbers from an 1840's Ohio barn span the vaulted ceiling while hardwood flooring from a Jim Beam distillery graces the floors. Antiques and art add warmth and beauty to this special getaway.
The kitchen is fully equipped with a two burner cooktop, micro/convection oven and dishwasher. French doors open to a very private deck where you can relax in Adirondack chairs after a day spent touring the surrounding area. Literally hundreds of wineries are available for touring and downtown Portland is an easy hour drive away as is the Pacific Ocean.

Wonderful, romantic studio at a Vineyard
We absolutely loved our stay here! I don't think the title of "cabin" begins to do the place justice as it implies it's much more rustic than it is. Every little detail has been considered in such a lovely way!
We originally planned to do some touring of wine country, but as we're from Portland we've done that lots of times. After reading the reviews about the studio, we decided to scrap plans of going anywhere else and just stayed at the studio the whole time.
We went walking at the nearby nature reserve (very nearby . . .the entrance to the park is a block up the street from the driveway) to get some exercise for the day. But, spent the rest of the time hanging out on the front deck to enjoy the view during the day and enjoying the fire pit in the back in the evening. We cooked our meals there and found everything we needed close at hand. We loved watching all the bird life in front of the studio - and listening to their calls throughout the day.
When we knew we wanted to use the fire pit and grill, I reached out to Jean before hand who assured me everything would be ready (I wasn't sure if we needed to bring items). He went above and beyond . . . the fire pit was carefully stacked with paper and kindling requiring us only to light the paper to get it going. Similarly, he had one of those charcoal chimney's set up with paper so I just had to add the charcoal.
If you're interested, I suggest you book quickly, as I've already shared the listing with 5 friends who are planning to book themselves!
Thanks for the wonderful stay!
Perfect stay with the perfect hosts
We can't say enough about the Oliver's! We loved the cabin, the small touches of coffee in room, wine upon arrival, and even amazing tunes. The views were spectacular but overall the two of them made the trip unforgettable. We truly hope to be back very soon!!
The property is amazing. Hosts, Jean and Don, are simply the best. We loved everything about our stay and can’t wait to come back!
Perfect romantic getaway!
The cabin is just perfect for anyone looking to get away for a bit and take in some breathtaking views and peaceful surroundings. We were no more than a 15-20 minute drive (on zero traffic roads) to any of the wonderful nearby wineries in McMinnville and Newburg. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a recharge!
Cabin in the vineyard
The spectacular reviews of the private vineyard cabin surely did not disappoint. Everything was great. Had all the ammenities you would expect and many more pleasant suprises you wouldn't ( i.e. binoculars, laundry detergent, and even a bottle of complimentary wine from their own vineyard that the cabin is situated on.) The owners are very friendly and truly want to make your stay fantastic. The view is amazing, a great place to relax, and only a short distance to town. Would highly recommend.
Beautiful cottage in the vineyard!
we absolutely loved staying here! It's a gem!
Just a short walk from the cabin is Miller Woods Conservation Area, 130 protected acres with miles of well maintained hiking trails.
