Little gasparilla is a bridgeless barrier island with seven miles of secluded white sand and shell laden-beaches only minutes from Marinas. It's geographically located on Florida's west coast forty miles north of Ft. Myer's and same distance south from Sarasota. This Gulf front two-story townhomes overlooks the Gulf of Mexico with multiple dockage on the Intracoastal waterway.

Our unit H-3 is well equipped with all the conveniences to make you feel at home. Watch sunsets from your front porch, enjoy the serenity of no traffic on the island, only means of transportation is by golf carts. The Hideaway Bay Beach Club on Little Gasparilla is accessible by the Hideaway's ferry service or your own boat. We have twenty-six free boat slips (21-1/2 feet max in length) on a first come, first served basis. Charter fishing is available at the Marinas nearby. Unit H-3 offers breath taking views of the Gulf of Mexico. Unwind on our beaches, get away from the fast paced 9 to 5 and discover serenity.

About Orlando Santana

My wife and I were looking to purchase a beach house and used the services of a local Realtor, one day I received a phone call and the lady Realtor started explaining about this island, that requires a ferry-boat service to get there, at first, it reminded me of a 'Gilligan's Island' type, not what we were looking for, but the explanations I was given caught my imagination and we agreed to visit, upon arriving on the ferry-boat, we both fell in love and purchased one unit, year and half later we purchased a second unit and we have been in love ever since with our little paradise getaway.

Dependable and Predictable

When you stay at Santana's Hideaway - there are no surprises.

It is as described and the Owner - Orlando is super punctual in returning calls and preparing your way for a relaxing time on the Island. Orlando checks in with his guests throughout the whole experience. This would especially be helpful to first time renters on L.G.I.

Now he has a New Golf Cart that can be optionally rented during your stay.

His Condo is clean, comfortable and adequately equipped. It's hard to say what's more impressive ? The Condo or Orlando ?

Came here in March of 2016 with my two young children and husband. The condo was wonderful- it was super clean and had everything we needed- it was great that we did not need to bring towels, beach toys, etc... The location cannot be beat. The H building is close to the gulf so it was an easy walk down to the beach every morning. We loved looking for shells and playing in the sand and surf. My kids enjoyed the pool and swam there every day too. The beach was great- not crowded at all and we saw dolphins swimming off the shore almost everyday at sunrise or sunset. We also spotted a ton of lizards, birds (there was an osprey nest right near the condo building) and even a tortoise. So amazing! On the mainland there is a Publix nearby and a several restaurants within driving distance. We had a great dinner at the Stump Pass Grill which is a tiki bar at the Stump Pass Marina. It was wonderful to eat casual food outside and enjoy the weather.

We would come here again in a heartbeat (and will definitely plan a return trip!). Orlando was great- he called to make sure we had everything and even helped us arrange for a ferry ride over to the mainland on the day we left when we needed to return before the condo ferry started running. Great place- we highly recommend it!!!!

We so enjoyed our first time stay on LGI!!! We will be back! Mr Santana was so easy to work with and very helpful with all our many questions! The property is a perfect location, so close to the beach. We even got to meet him and his lovely wife as they got off the ferry and we got on! He checked on us numerous times to make sure everything was fine and it was perfect. Renting the golf cart was a must for us and the outdoor sitting areas were so nice! Thanks so much for your hospitality!

The property overall if very nice and accommodates 4 people well.

Our overall experience was great. I would highly recommend going here. There is a brand new golf cart to use which was great. There is plenty of kitchen utensils, bedding and the beds were very nice. The unit was clean and Orlando is very helpful and thoughtful with his guests. The beach is great to sit and sun tan, fish or just visit with friends. He could put 2 more comfortable chairs in the first floor TV area. We can not wait to get back to the unit in 2017.

Owner's Response: Appreciate your comments Michael, however, where will I be able to fit two more chairs in the living room? You would be tripping over them if I were to add them. We are planning on changing the kitchen counter-top in order to eliminate the kitchen table and add a top that will expand to accommodate four persons thereby creating more living room space, thenn we can add more chairs!

Please include mailing address and phone number when inquiring on a rental. We automatically mail a two part parking ticket with our informational letter. Lock-boxes and parking lot gate codes will be included on this informational letter.
Rates are based on up to four persons, additional persons up to a maximum of six, will require a $5.00 per person per night. Please be advised that families from residing outside the US have a currency exchange specific to their countries rates will change based on their residency, please provide phone number at time of inquiry. If payment is made with a major credit card a 3% transaction fee will be charged, unfortunately this website has no field where these charges can be detailed.
