Welcome to the Clearwater condominium in beautiful Gulf Shores, Al. This condominium is conveniently located close to restaurants, shops, fun kid activities and so much more. It is also only about 3 miles from a Wal-Mart.

My unit has just been completely remolded with an ALL NEW kitchen and bathroom including new cabinets, granite counter tops and new appliances . Fresh paint throughout and new tile in the Master Bedroom. This large one bedroom will sleep six comfortably with a King size mattress in the Master bedroom, a bunk area and the sleeper sofa. The pool is just below the balcony. This convenient first floor unit does sit up one floor because there is parking underneath the complex. The beach is a very short boardwalk away!

I know you will enjoy your stay in Unit 1B at the Clearwater!

Hi. My name is Leslie Ouellette and I live in Muscle Shoals, Al. with my husband Todd. We love the beach and try to get there as often as we can! We do own seven units in the Gulf Shores/Orange Beach area that I manage. You can visit to see all of my beachfront property.

Clearwater is a great complex. It is just a short walk to the sand and our unit sits right over the pool. The view is absolutely breathtaking!

Great Condo and Value!

My family had a great stay at Clearwater 1B in Gulf Shores! My husband, myself, and my 3 year old little boy stayed in this condo from Monday-Friday. We loved the fact that we were on the first floor so the stairs were quick and easy or we could take a short elevator ride. The beach chairs, cooler, umbrella, and beach buggy were amazing and saved us room in the car since we did not have to bring our own. We packed a picnic lunch for the beach each day and were able to fit all we needed for a day at the beach in the buggy. The condo was perfectly clean when we arrived and equipped with everything we needed for our stay. The balcony was perfect for us to look at the beautiful beach and enjoy a popsicle with my little boy. My favorite part about our stay was that the beach or pool was never crowded. My little boy found more shells than we could have ever imagined. Also, we were close to the pier and it was beautiful to look at. My husband ran to the pier and back early each morning. One afternoon we drove to the pier and had an amazing time. You can pay $3 a person to walk down the pier where we interacted with two pelicans, a blue heron, saw numerous fish being caught, and saw stingrays. I definitely recommend doing this! We ordered pizza the first night in the condo so we could enjoy the beach longer. The second night we used a service called Gulf To Go who delivered a Mexican Cantina to the condo and it was AMAZING! That night we were able to go find many crabs on the beach after eating and my little boy will be talking about this for a long time. Other restaurants we enjoyed were Tacky Jacks, LuLu's, and The Gulf. We had great ice cream right down the road on two different nights at Rita's (you will not be disappointed if you go here). The only negative thing I could say about our stay would be that the people above us were loud late at night and early in the morning but that is no reflection on the condo or the owners. That is just something you deal with on vacation and it was not anything major. We had a trip we will always remember and wished we would have stayed a day or two longer. We will definitely be using this condo again in the future and hopefully for a longer stay next time!

Great Value & Better Than Advertised

Our experience with Leslie's Condo at Clearwater Unit 1B was AWESOME. She is real folk. Throughout the booking process she was very knowledgeable and accommodating. This was our first time to Gulf Shores and we will definitely be back. Everything at the condo was as advertised and then some. Well appointed kitchen, nicely decorated living room and a million dollar view from the balcony. The added bonus of beach chairs, a cooler and beach buggy was icing on the cake. Very Smart. It exceeded our expectations.

This trip was going to be a quick get away to Gulf Shores. We had never been to this area. Mostly our experience with the Emerald Coast has been in Panama City, Destin and other small Beaches along the coast. This quick little get away has turned into a world of discovery for us. The beaches were clean and full of shells. We were able to take afternoon walks to the pier and Sea & Suds (casual dining) while witnessing some breath taking sunsets.

Restaurants:

Lulu's, Lamberts, Tacky Jacks, Cobalts, Live Music at Flora Bama were all tasty and each providing a unique dining experience. If you enjoy live music then Flora Bama is a must. We live in Nashville, TN where on a nightly basis one can hear music from some of the best music artist in the world. I'm here to tell you Flora Bama doesn't take a back seat to Nashville. Truly a unique experience.

Why we choose Leslie's Clearwater Condo Unit 1B.

I prefer to deal directly with the owner and forego all of the additional "ADD ON FEES" charged by rental companies. We saved around 40% dealing directly with Leslie. I will recommend her to all of my friends, family and anyone reading this review to give her a call and she will hook you up with an awesome beach experience.

wonderful vacation

We enjoyed our stay and very glad we rented the condo from Leslie. The condo was very nice and clean. It was everything we had hoped for according to Leslie's posting/pictures . Leslie was very easy to talk to and deal with. Thank you Leslie. The condo is in a great location, with beautiful views of the beach and a short walk to the beach , being over the pool is a plus we could watch the kids in the pool from our balcony, the beach chairs provided for use were very nice. We really enjoyed the location of the condo its in a prefect spot for being able to walk to the pier, shopping, activities, dinning out. The condo was very comfortable and had what we needed and then some to make our stay away from home very enjoyable. So glad we found this rental from Leslie it was great, we will definitely be contacting her a again for rental. I have nothing but good thoughts regarding the rental from Leslie. Thank you

DISAPPOINTED

We have been going to the beach for 18 years and have NEVER had as horrible of an experience as we encountered in this condo. From arrival it was one thing after another. Our first day we had the sliding glass doors that were jammed and the ice maker didn't work. We did contact Leslie and because it was a holiday weekend it wasn't likely these things would get fixed quickly. Which was fine, just very frustrating, my husband fixed both. You don't typically go on vacation to fix things. Then as he was sitting on the patio that night he is greeted by the biggest cock roach we had ever seen. Of all my years of going to the beach we have never had an experience of cock roaches. We let Leslie know and she was getting the pest control out there. Fine but still disgusting and not something you want to encounter on vacation . Then the garbage chute was backed up and was making the entire hallway smell horrendous. So, we again call Leslie and she has a maintenance man to come out only to come back to it still backed up and stinking. My husband goes to look and see what he can do and it was just not pushed down in the chute good. Leslie then stated she figures that was the reason for the cock roaches. I say cock roaches because day 3 my little boy hollers at me in the bathroom because of a big bug and low and behold it's another cock roach. I am totally disgusted and outdone at this point and don't want to even be in the condo. Then the beach buggy that is advertised to use had a broken wheel. We could still use it but obviously not a smooth journey in pulling it. I am so surprised at all the good reviews this unit got (the main reason we went with it). We can not be the only ones that had such a horrible experience. She even mentioned it seems everything was falling apart on us. And it was!!! I guess I am disappointed because I figured to make things right we would be refunded a little more than our security deposit - the one that is paid to make sure nothing is broken or needs repair from us. We felt my husband could have been on payroll for the first few days. Not a vacation spot I would EVER recommend or stay at again. First time we have ever had to contact an owner and make any kind of complaint. in 18 years - that says a lot.

Owner's Response: I am so sorry to know that you were this disappointed in your stay in my condo As I think I stated in some of our texts, phone calls or emails during your stay customer satisfaction is VERY IMPORTANT to me. I not only want all of my renters to enjoy their vacation, I want them to want to come back to my condo(s) and tell their friends and family. A little over a year ago I had this condo completely remodeled. The kitchen and bathroom cabinets were replaced, carpet in bedroom was replaced with tile, granite counter tops were installed, the whole condo got new paint, most furniture was replaced, a giant TV was added and all the appliances were replaced. I tried to have the bathtub replaced and was told that would be next to impossible. After you told me about the issue with the sliding glass door I had a repairman come out and he said it was coming off track because renters had been using a board to put in the gliding track to prevent the door from being opened from the outside. He repaired this and suggested I replace the handle/lock which I had him do. I hope this stops any future issues with the door. If I understood correctly, I was told by your husband that the ice maker had simply gotten moved to the off position and was not broken. I completely agree that you do not want to see any bugs while on vacation! I know that the management company has a pest control service in on the first of every month but I called my manager and had her come spray the unit and called the management company to try to get the pest control out a few days early. I also contacted the management company about the backed up trash chute and asked that y'all let me know if they did not come out. Seems like they did not get that handled properly. I believe they made an effort albeit not a very good one. I do supply a beach buggy and accessories for convenience to my renters but of course cannot guarantee that they will be taken care of and not be broken or missing with each renter. I do try to replace items when needed as soon as possible. I do believe that I get all the good reviews because renters are truly happy with their stay. The renter who check out after you called to say she couldn't wait to book for next year. I do not feel like everything in the condo is falling apart just that you had some bad luck and/or timing and had some problems that do not normally occur. Again, I am very sorry for any issues you had and tried my best to make things right.

Volleyball Fans

My husband and I rented this condo for the NCAA Volleyball tournament and it couldn't have worked out better. It was exactly as the pictures showed, very clean and quite. Everything went smoothly from using the door pass numbers to the parking passes being where they said they would be. Located very nicely to attractions/restaurants with easy access to major highways. It was so easy working with Leslie my questions were answered in a very timely manner. We will definitely recommend this to other friends. Thank You for sharing with us and making our first trip to Gulf Shores a GREAT memory

Great Vacation

Cancellation Policy:
If you cancel at least 30 days before arrival your deposit is refunded. No refunded deposit or payment if you cancel less than two weeks before arrival. I do not want to take your money if you are unable to stay so if I can get the unit rented with the short cancelation notice some refund would be available based on circumstances.

Refundable Security Deposit of $250. is due at the time of booking and is refunded if you cancel at least 30 days prior to arrival. Full Payment is due two weeks before arrival. Cleaning fee is left at the condo upon departure.
