Landmark Lodge is a one-of-a-kind home on Lake Blackshear offered for rent year round. This home is the most recognizable house on the lake as it actually sits out over the water at the widest section of Lake Blackshear. Landmark Lodge has Wi/Fi and has the best views of any house on the lake. Enjoy spectacular 180 degree views of the lake and beautiful sunsets from the large decks and balconies or from the comfort of the spacious main living area. The decks and balconies are great for entertaining. Boating, skiing, fishing and swimming are great in this area because there are no cypress trees or stumps on this side of the lake or anywhere near the home. (Please note that due to continued abuse, boat and jet ski lifts are not available for use.)
Landmark Lodge has three master suites. The first master suite has a private balcony overlooking the lake and a large jetted bathtub. (There is not a shower in this bathroom.) Another suite enjoys tremendous views of the lake through large floor to ceiling windows. The main living area features three couches and a large flat screen TV. An additional sunken living area makes a great playroom for the kids with a TV. Two dining tables and a bar provide plenty of seating for meals. The kids will enjoy their very own bunk room with 3 twin beds. Everyone will enjoy the huge swimming platform.
Landmark Lodge is just down from Georgia Veterans State Park. Go by car or boat to enjoy all that the Park has to offer. You can even ride the SAM Shortline Railway to Plains, GA, home of former President Jimmy Carter. Georgia Veterans State Park also offers a beautiful 18 hole golf course, jet-ski rentals, boat rentals, sunset cruises and two restaurants.

This is a very nice property. We had a group of seven elderly men who went there for a three day fishing trip. We picked the wrong time as it was stormy each day with very high winds. It also turned pretty cold on day two. We did not do any fishing , but we had some wonderful fellowship. Would sure like to go back when the weather is good. The setup of the house could not have been better as the kitchen had everything you needed and the rest of the house was way above average. Samantha was very nice and quick to get whatever we needed. The house worked perfectly for our groups golf outing.
There was plenty of room to relax and more than enough supplies in the kitchen to take care of ten! Will definitely look to return next year.

Property was amazing, this property was everything we hoped it would be and more. Amazing location, lots of room and I must say the owner was very easy to work with always willing to answer any question and always made it easy for my family and I. Anything that needed to be fixed or repair at the property she had someone there to repair things before I had a chance to contact her. What an amazing Communication line she had with us as rentals . Will revisit this location for our upcoming and near future family events. AMAZING PROPERTY! Thanks for allowing my family and I to rent your lake house.👍�

The house is great. Location was perfect for wedding less than 1/2 mi away. Large house beautiful views. Lots of outdoor seating.

We came here with our family and three dogs to escape hurricane Irma. We felt like we were on a vacation. The view is absolutely beautiful and the accommodations were great! Lots of room and very homey. Very thankful for the owners hospitality-she was very pleasant to deal with as well.
If you rent this place you rent it as is
This place could be one of the best on the lake if only the property owners would listen to the people renting it. The people in charge of cleaning it are not doing their job. One of the beds was left with dirty sheets on it. So be prepared to change them. The outside windows had to be cleaned so you could see out of them. The master bedroom upstairs shower is broke and has been all summer and they don't care. The list goes on. I wrote a email to Samantha when I got back and got no response. Both boat lifts are broke and that whole area looks like it hasn't been cleaned all summer. The sad thing is if the owners would spend a few hundred and fix all this stuff they could get more a night.

Before your stay, our cleaner of many years sadly passed away, which resulted in several issues as we transitioned to her replacement. RENTAL AGREEMENT AND RULES & REGULATIONS Landmark Lodge 186 Scenic Route Cordele, GA 31015 LOCATED AT LAKE BLACKSHEAR 1. CHECK-IN TIME is 3:00 p.m. EST and CHECK-OUT is 10:00 a.m. 2. This is a NON-SMOKING home. 3. This home is pet-friendly. DOGS ONLY with a weight limit of 20 lbs. plus a pet fee of $50. Owners must be notified if a pet will be on the property. 4. CANCELLATIONS - A sixty (60) day notice is required for cancellation. Cancellations that are made more than sixty (60) days prior to the arrival date will incur no penalty. Cancellations or changes that result in a shortened stay, that are made within 60 days of the arrival date, forfeit the full damage/reservation deposit. Cancellations with 7 days of arrival or early departure do not warrant any refund of rent or deposit. 5. MAXIMUM OCCUPANCY - The maximum number of guests is limited to fourteen (14) persons. 6. NO DAILY MAID SERVICE - While linens and bath towels are included in the unit, daily maid service is not included in the rental rate. We suggest you bring beach towels. We do not permit towels or linens to be taken from the unit. 7. TRASH POLICY – Trash pickup is available at the house. Trash cans are located at the road for your convenience. All trash must be removed from the property upon departure. 8. FALSIFIED RESERVATIONS - Any reservation obtained under false pretense will be subject to forfeiture of advance payment, deposit and/or rental money, and the party will not be permitted to check-in. 9. WRITTEN EXCEPTIONS - Any exceptions to the above mentioned policies must be approved in writing in advance. 10. STORM POLICY - No refunds will be given unless the National Weather Service orders mandatory evacuation.
