You can't get any closer to the ocean! As you relax on our lanai, it's easy to feel like you're sitting on cruise ship balcony. When whales are migrating, you can spend hours watching the mothers teach their young to slap their tails and fins, or practice a breach, or spy hop. The surfers will amaze you. On windy days the para-sailors, wind-surfers, and kite-boarders are fun to watch. On calm days one of the best snorkeling on the island awaits you out front of our units. There is nothing better than falling asleep to the sound of the surf and sea-side living.

As you enter our home you will be amazed by open feel and panoramic ocean view. Our home is filled with Hawaiian decor, turtle art, and the feeling of a tropical home. Open the double sliding-glass doors to let in a warm tropical breeze or turn on the quiet central air-conditioning when the weather gets warm. For us, this is not just another condo. This is our home-away-from-home, we take excellent care of it, and we welcome you to share it with us.

We have all the comforts of a permanent home. Our kitchen is working kitchen. We have high-speed internet,Bluray DVD Player, DVR, games, and books... Our sofas are punees (convert to twin beds). They are incredibly comfortable, unlike a hide-a-bed. All our beds have new Tempur-pedic mattresses for added comfort.

It's our belief that when guest rent our condo they are looking for a fun and relaxing vacation. Another important assumption is that they want the best value for there dollar. That is why we keep our rates as low as possible, and offer the maximum amount of services. Based on comments from past guest we only charge for check out cleaning, rather than daily maid service. We still stock the condo with all supplies needed for there stay (towels, linens, paper products, shampoo, soaps, lotion, ect.) We still have daily, bi-weekly, or weekly maid service available should a guest request. We don't want anyone to fell obligated to straighten up the condo because a maid might come knocking on the door.

Stores, restaurants, and beaches are within walking-distance. There is a great new walking-path to Black Rock which makes for a great morning exercise along the beach without the sand.

This is the place to book to begin a trip you will treasure always and long to return to.

About Janet or John Goggins

We are John and Janet Goggins. We Were married in 1973 and we have been blessed with both a son and daughter. Our daughter has given us two beautiful granddaughters. Our son and his wonderful wife added three more beautiful grand daughters and one handsome grand son to our happy family so we are proud grandparents of six. Family is top priority to us and Maui Kai is a place we share often with them. We started our first Subway sandwich store 1986. We have enjoyed developing a number of shops. As we have semi-retired, our children stepped up and now they run our stores in Oregon. This gives us more time to travel. We loved our first two-week time share on Maui, but it was never enough. So we decided we needed a permanent home here. The minute we visited Maui Kai we knew we found it. It was love at first sight! We love to watch the whales, snorkel with the turtles, mingle by the pool, shop in Lahaina, try new restaurants, and catch the Saturday market. We have one the friendliest poolsides in town. (swim, Jacuzzi, bar-b-que and bask in the sun)

The rooms are open and the view... well there is nothing like it. Maui is the place to find peace and quiet, to share joys, to get away from the stress of work, to forget your cares, and to make new memories. Maui Kai and specifically our unit gives us these things and more.

What makes this condo unique

As you walk into our unit, you will be immediately drawn to the lanai where you will be in awe of the breath-taking view of both the ocean and two beautiful neighboring islands. You will not want to miss being ready for the nightly sunsets as they are some of the most spectacular in the world. Once you pull yourself away from the view, you will begin to appreciate the spacious floor plan. The table on the lanai allows for dining while you look for migrating whales or pods of frolicking dolphins (three varieties in the area). Everything is spacious and comfortable.
