About the property

House, 2 Bedrooms, 1 Bath, (Sleeps 4)

The 'Bisbee Adobe' is located a short walk from the historic mining town of Bisbee, AZ. With an Elevation of approximately 5300', this quaint little town has some of Arizona's best year round climate.

The 'Bisbee Adobe' was originally built as a rooming house for miners around 1898. The last known tenants were in 1947. The renovation of the building was painstakingly done by a local contractor who did an incredible job and was completed in Aug. 2008.

From the period antiques, reproduction stove and the private coziness the Adobe offers is a very unique experience. With the private porch nestled within the mature oak trees gives the feeling of being in a tree house. Enjoy dinner outside or have a relaxing cup of coffee in the morning. The 'Bisbee Adobe' is configured as a duplex. The lower level is a long term rental and the upstairs is the short term unit which is completely furnished as described. There are two bedrooms, one with a queen size bed and the other with a trundle bed (2 singles). The Bathroom is accessible from a common hallway.

Great remodel

We made this home base to explore Bisbee over New Years. We walked everywhere, including many of the towns 1000s of stairs. The front balcony is like an additional living room.

Wonderful, quite escape!

  • 5 of 5

Our experience with the owners was a wonderful introduction to our Bisbee visit. We have been to Bisbee many times, but this was our first VRBO experience in this amazing town. We had several communications with the owners before we arrived and were not at all disappointed in the property. It is an old adobe house as the name would suggest, with quite an interesting history and an even more impressive renovation. Really couldn't find a single issue with the place. We were especially impressed with the very tasteful attention to every detail of style and decor; a great deal of thought and money went into making it perfect...so nice to see old buildings not only saved, but improved. It is located a comfortable walk from downtown, but far enough away to be quiet and peaceful. The front porch is a great place to read, enjoy meals or a glass of wine in the evening. We cook and found everything we needed in the kitchen. Next time we are heading to Bisbee, we'll feel right at home in the Bisbee Adobe.

Quaint & Close

  • 5 of 5

We had a nice stay at the quaint Adobe. It was very clean and well appointed for a quick weekend getaway. Darlene and Steve were very responsive with the couple needs we did have. The little outdoor patio was great for relaxing and enjoying the weather. While it's a pretty small unit overall, there's plenty of space for a close group of 4. A quick 15 minute walk gets you into to the edge of town, it's a nice little trek and the townsfolk are quite friendly. Definitely a place we could stay again.

Very nice place, strongly recommended.

  • 5 of 5

This is an old house thoroughly renovated with historic decor, it has all mod cons with a feeling of Bisbee history. Nice neighborhood as ever in Bisbee. Downtown is about a 20 min walk away, giving you an opportunity to get some exercise and a feel for the place. Customer service from the owners was perfect - check in is easy and hassle free with a lock box, they left gift cards for local businesses, and did not put pressure on us with check out times or anything like that.

Great home away from home!

  • 5 of 5

The Bisbee Adobe is a very clean, beautifully decorated home away from home. It suited our needs just perfectly, close to downtown Old Bisbee, quiet and had everything we needed. We highly recommend this vacation property. The owners are very accommodating and they even welcomed our two mutts. It was perfect.

Amazing

  • 4 of 5

The stay was amazing, the Bisbee Adobe is adorable, clean, and so very comfortable. The environment is perfect for relaxing and having fun in the town. The decor in the Adobe is charming and rustic, with a lot of thought put into the overall feel. I highly recommend it.
