About Erica K.

An entrepreneur by nature, I have enjoyed the freedom and flexibility that a self directed path can provide. I have loved to travel and annually embark upon both a beach vacation and an exotic destination in a far away continent - you will find exotic mementos from my travels adorn El Milagro and inspire the eclectic sampling of the world within. Growing up in Tucson and feeling a connection to this style of architecture/ property, I wanted to name my special Casa to honor my connection to the heritage of the house, hence the name El Milagro - which means The Miracle of the Neighborhood - a miracle to own a home, a miracle this place has stood 135 years - a miracle of light and laughter within---. While home in Tucson, I love to landscape, You will see me working on my properties tending to the mesquite trees, Peruvian apple cactus a native willow or assisting guests at El Milagro and other homes. I have always enjoyed cooking - entertaining friends and family and hosting many social events, and look forward to hosting you during your stay in Tucson!

cute, clean place

  • 5 of 5

Thank you to Erica for being such a gracious host!! Her response time was excellent, and she was SO welcoming. I have used VRBO 10 or more times and this was the best host from the moment I inquired to the moment we left. We were arriving a bit early and our flight out was at 7, so she told us to get in early if we needed and stay a few extra hours if we wanted to. what a nice thing to let us know that before we even landed. Well located, 5 minutes from U of A. Would stay there again if I return

Good Location close to town. Place have everything I need

  • 4 of 5

Thank you Erica for offering your nice comfortable place to us. I arrived at the place at around 1:30am early morning and I was so tired I couldn't find my information and how to open the place. I called Erica and she picked up the phone on the first ring. I like that quick service from the owner. The place was clean, comfortable and cool. The high light of this place to us was the private back yard that is so beautiful and very nature. Coming from Hawaii we still feel we were at home with the back yard setting. We have everything we need for cooking. We didn't have to run to the store. The place has everything you need if you like to cook. Thank you for the nice bottle of wine and lots of towels. My family really enjoyed your place. We liked to be on our own and don't like to be bother and we thank Erica for that. I know she was standing by in case we need anything just like how she answered my early morning phone call. Mahalo Nui Loa Erika. ALOHA!!!!

Adorable Adobe

  • 4 of 5

This was a fun little house for our family to hang out in during the UA graduation weekend. Not far from campus, enough room for each of us to spread out, and the backyard was perfect for morning coffee. Erica's attention to detail made it even more comfy. I do recommend your earplugs for the nearby train whistle!

Hidden Gem

  • 4 of 5

This house was so great and quaint. Overall, it was really a fantastic stay.

The only minor issue was the train passing. We went and got ourselves some earplugs and then it was a non- issue. Close to the freeway and many key spots. Thank you!

Amazingly Charmingly Wonderful!!!...

  • 5 of 5

Loved this charming adobe home! Loved everything about it! Great central, convenient location, no trouble finding the place because we had awesome directions from Erica. Parking no issue whatsoever!

The kitchen was so well equiped with everything anyone would need, that was great! Beds very comfy.

We relaxed and had coffee every morning in the lovely yard, also a barbecue for one supper. We took advantage of Erica's suggestions for Italian restaurants and were not disappointed. Many magazines available full of info.

There were lots of train whistles...did not bother any of us one bit!

How nice was it for the host to leave us a bottle of wine and chocolate? Pretty amazing!

Only regret is we did not stay longer! Would stay here again in a heartbeat....Already thinking of returning in the fall.

One other thing to mention how extra wonderful a host Erica is...my granddaughter left behind her precious little "Hatchimal" toy and Erica immediately took care of mailing of it to us!

Thankyou so much Erica for everything.
