About the property

2 Bedrooms, 1 Bathroom (Sleeps 7)

The cabin has two bedrooms with two queen size beds and an upstairs loft with three single beds. The cabin has one full bathroom. The kitchen stocked with essential cookware, utensils, microwave, electric stove/oven and refrigerator. The living room features 'This End Up' furniture and a 32' flat screen wall mounted TV with DVD player. The cabin is stocked with a variety of 25+ DVDs. Wifi connection is provided as well. The interior is beautiful hand cut hemlock wood.

We have a seasonal private dock for your boat or jet ski's. The boat launch is adjacent to the property and directly next to our dock. The property is in the serene Ironwood Cove on Lake Wallenpaupack, which has much less boat traffic then the main part of the lake.

The interior of the cabin is made of hand cut wood. Very nice and very clean. The cabin has an enclosed screened-in porch. The cabin has it's own deck with a picnic table on it, outdoor fireplace with four chairs, and a steel park style charcoal grill.

There is also a common area in the middle of the four cabins with a horse shoe pit, Can Jam and a Ladder Rack Toss.

We are DOG Friendly for a fee of $35 per dog.

We try to welcome guests when I can in person, but give our guests space to enjoy their stay. The rental is for the entire cabin, deck and property. We try to give our guests space, but are available by phone, text or email when needed.

You need a car to get around, it's the Poconos. There are restaurants, grocery stores, beer stores all within 15 minutes.

About Teresa O'Leary

This is a family owned property. Our son's Bill, Steve and grandchildren, Lliam and Aidan all love 'the cabins'. This property is close to our heart. We always try to meet our guests. We hope that they are enjoying themselves and will go out of our way to make sure this happens.

Why Teresa O'Leary chose Greentown

Purchased primarily because of the proximity to the lake and the beautiful cabin interior.

What makes this cabin unique

Swimming, boating, hiking, fishing, campfires, charcoal grill cooking, serenity, simplicity, downtime, alone time, hanging with family, close to good restaurants. Great weekend place for Tough Mudders, before and after the race.

This was a great experience!!

The picture don't show how close it is to the other properties, though at this time of year not many others are around. The lake is absolutely beautiful, and the cabin has wonderful character. Would definitely recommend!

Romantic Getaway AND Kid Friendly Adventure!

  • 5 of 5

Our family of four LOVED our stay in this cabin! Plenty of hiding spots for hide-and-seek, walking distance to a beautiful lake full of wildlife and adventures, wonderful fire pit outside for dinner and s'mores, and a romantic fireplace inside for scary movies and cuddling once the kids go to sleep :) Highly recommend!
