About Rebecca Clark
We are a family of four that fell in love with this property before it was finished (newly built in 2011/12). My husband, myself, and our two young boys now enjoy living here during the off-season and sailing in Muscongus Sound for our own 'time of wonder.'
Rebecca Clark purchased this House in 2010
Why Rebecca Clark chose Bremen
We fell in love with this property, first, because of its location on one of the prettiest little harbors in Maine. It comes with a deep water dock, a perfect launching point to explore the many islands and harbors nearby; secondly, the house itself lends itself perfectly for enjoying harbor and island views as well as hosting many guests or just relaxing on the sunny rocks like a seal.
What makes this House unique
Next door to Kayak rentals, small lobster wharf (to buy your own fresh caught lobster) and small marina for launching your own boat.

Amazing vacation home
Muscongus Landing is truly a special place. The setting is idyllic and restorative and the home is very well appointed with all the amenities. The owners are a class act and pleasure to communicate with. It is not a question of "if" but rather "when" I will return
Thank you so much! We are so glad you found Muscongus Landing and hope you and your family do return soon.
This is the best place we've ever stayed in Maine
If you are looking for a wonderful place to stay, this is it. The house is clean and big with lots of windows. The entire house is newly renovated and up to date. The bedding is very comfortable and stylish. The back porch is huge and looks out right onto the ocean. The dock is easy to access and super convenient for kayaking and swimming. There are books, games, and toys for entertainment. The washer has a 15 minute wash cycle making it easy to throw in a quick load of laundry. The kitchen is full of everything you might need to cook without being overly stocked, there is lots of room to store your groceries.
We have vacationed here with our two young boys and grandparents for the last three years, it's the perfect vacation for our family. We rent kayaks for the week from the kayak rental place next door and enjoy kayaking to shipwrecks, islands, and along the shore. We've seen seals, bald eagles, osprey, and porpoises while kayaking. We buy fresh lobster at a very reasonable price from the lobster boat that comes into the bay, just a three minute walk away. Pemaquid Lighthouse and Beach is nearby and Popham Beach as well as Reid State Park (where you can dig for clams) are each just an hour away. Amazing sailboat and lighthouse/lobster tours are offered in Boothbay Harbor, just 45 minutes away. There is so much to do, the adventures are endless.
If you are looking for a kid friendly, Maine vacation this is the place to be.
Dear Rick and Kara,
We are so glad you enjoy Muscongus Landing to its fullest. It's such a special place, and yet a hidden gem which few people find. We look forward to your return next summer!
Rebecca and family
Enjoyed a week is this beautiful home. Visited many Maine attractions all within an hours drive from this house. Viewed Eagles, Seals and amazing colors over this bay every evening from the deck. Home has everything you'll need to be comfortable and The Clarks are very accommodating. Would highly recommend this property for a relaxing, enjoyable vacation.
Joanne, Thank you so much for your lovely comments. We are so glad you enjoyed Muscongus Landing as much as we do. We hope you and your family do return!
The PERFECT coastal Maine vacation rental
This was a return to Muscongus Landing for our family. We loved everything about our stay. Our family of six had plenty of room indoors and out as we woke to the sunrise, explored the bay by kayak, and grilled dinner on the deck. The owners are a wonderful family and a delight to deal with. We look forward to going back next year!
Thank you so much! We look forward to having you and your family back this coming summer!!
Perfect vacation rental
Where to start? The house is beautiful, new, clean, and quiet. The owners are wonderful. The view is amazing. The area is fantastic.
We spent the week exploring the islands in Moscongus bay (on kayaks we rented next door) and sightseeing in the Pemaquid area. The harbor is perfect for novices since the water is very calm. The area is also extremely quiet. The other reviewers mentioned that you can buy lobsters next door which made us think it might be a busy harbor. It is not. There are only two lobster boats that dock in Moscongus Harbor and they are extremely friendly and sell their lobsters straight from the boats (at a deep discount).
We were there with two young kids and they loved it! The house has a wonderful collection of books and the area has much for kids to do (the beach, tidal pools, hikes, cycling, kayaking). We had a lovely time and hope to return soon.
Thank you so much for your lovely review! We are so very glad that you enjoyed Muscongus as much as we do. It was delightful to meet you all and truly hope to see you all again. Warmly, Rebecca and Mike and our boys
