EMERALD BAY is a Sentinal, 40ft. Park Trailer completely remodeled; Two (2) Bedrooms, One (1) Full Bath, w/ Three Pullouts.
Queen Size Bed in the Master Bedroom with Second Queen Size Bed in Second Bedroom, with an additional fold out Full Size Couch in the Living Room.
The interior layout is a Split Floor Plan.
One (1) Television in the Living Room, with High Definition Satellite Link.
The unit also has a Clothes Washer & Dryer.
Color decor is tropical, and the theme is Nautical throughout.
Multiple outside seating areas.....
The property is on the water over 18Ft. of Floating Dock Space, which can accommodate up to a 25Ft. Boat, Great Fishing Dockside, Gas BBQ outside (we do not provide the gas), with Dockside sitting and adjoining lounge areas.
Excellent water views from the living areas!!!!. Living areas in this unit are in the center; Living Room, Dining Room, and Kitchen.
Outside seating area has chaise lounges to sit and relax, and catch the breezes, and a gas BBQ (we do not provide the gas), for those sunset dinners if you decide to cook.
Adjoining at the main entry there are secondary seating area outside......
While Parking is in front of the Property.
Parking for your Boat Trailer is provided for your Boat Trailer on the Public Swales, space being available.
There will be a one-time Fee you will need to pay the Dock-Master of $10.00, this is for Launching, and $10.00 for the Recovery of the Boat.
You Fish from the Dock, or enjoy swimming in the Community Pool which is on the adjacent Peninsula; 90 Sec. walking distance.
The experience with us is a bit more Personal and Service Oriented, we will meet you on the Property upon arrival and get you settled-in and show you how everything works, the HVAC, the Stereos, Satellite T.V., the BBQ, Stove, the Range, and in-turn answer any questions you may have.
While you are with us, should you need anything we are 45Min. away, or next door. The Property is extremely peaceful, and quiet, this is a Gated Community.
Along the Waterway you may even see some Manatees swimming by, lay in the Chaise Lounges, and hear the Coconut Palm frontons move in the breeze.
During the Day Ann and Her Husband, George, work their Crab Traps, they ride around on a 16Ft.. Skiff, you cannot miss them, their boat has large Registration Numbers on the side. If you like Crabs, call them over, they will sell to you either Blue Crabs or Stone Crabs. And do not worry if you do not know how to clean them, Ann will even show you how.
Otherwise you can ask Ann for one of her Freshly Cooked Crab Platters, she will deliver it by Boat and serve it Dockside.
Great Place also for Kayaks, to explore the shallow water inlets around or explore in the Sound. If you are interested in renting the Caribbean Club close-by offers Kayaks and Canoes for Rent and will bring them to the Property.
While in Downtown Key Largo, Boat Charters, and Fishing Trips are available.
Kayaks can be kept at the Property.
Markets and Shopping are less than 10Min. away, we provide Discount Cards for WINN-DIXIE one of the Local area Markets.
For Beaches, John Pennekamp a National Park, is 10 Min. away at MM 102, OCEAN SIDE (Left Side). Traveling South look for the Overhead Sign. Great Beaches, with snorkeling opportunities. there is also Group Fishing which is not expensive, or Snorkeling Trips to the Reefs a little off-shore.
There is also Harris Park at MM92.5. Here you have a Man-Made Lagoon with Beaches, and Playground, and Picnic areas. No admission is charged during the week.
Restaurants are within 7Min. Gilbert's and Buzzard's. And for Outdoor Entertainment at Gilbert's they have a Great Tikki Bar on the Water, with Music, daily.......
While Sundowner's is about 12Min. away, Great Outdoor Gourmet Dining with Excellent views of the Sunset. And Senor Frijoles is next door, with Outdoor Dining also, Tex-Mex Food and Excellent Margaritas...
And in Downtown Key Largo, Mrs. Mac's Kitchen is a favorite Breakfast spot.
There are many Brochures in the home which will guide you to other destinations.
Regarding Fishing Licenses, they can be bought here at any Bait & Tackle Shop. If you are going to be Fishing from the Property, they are not necessary.

Theater of the Sea, This is where you can have the opportunity to swim with the Dolphins or the Sea-Lions, this is a Theme Park, with shows with Dolphins and Sea-Lions, snorkeling trips, Glass Bottom Boat excursions etc.., etc......
Key Largo, Florida Chamber of Commerce, This is the Chamber of Commerce site, of which we are Member of and does offer a myriad of endless possibilities depending on your interests. Group Fishing, snorkeling, restaurants, and other destinations.
This is where we get the Brochures, we keep at the Property. We recommend you book in advance as for the destinations in the Keys, there are often discount offers for 'in-advance' reservations. And with items like swimming with the Dolphins or Sea-Lions at Theater of the Sea, they book quite in advance, due to the demand.

Small but clean
We knew that this is a travel trailer when we rented it so our review is based on that. The trailer is small but very clean. We didn't plan on spending much time in it so for the price it was a nice place to spend the night. Our only complaint would be the two beds. The two beds were not of much quality and were not very comfortable. Every time you moved the bed springs would squeak very loudly. Someone had put a piece of foam on the forward bed to make it a little more comfortable. It's a small gated trailer community and we felt safe staying there.
The views and location were perfect!
Ideal location to get away from it all
We were in town for a long weekend that included some relaxing as well the races. This location was ideal since there is nothing else around you. The night sky was gorgeous and the sunrises were stunning. I took my son fishing and we had the pleasure of meeting Nestor, he was very pleasant and friendly. There was some storm damage to nearby units and some of the facilities but ours was fine. Nestor got the cable fixed the same day and was very responsive. Parking was a little tight as its right in front of the trailer but wasn't horrible. There were a few loud parties on one of the nights that we could hear music inside. Nothing crazy but I'm a light sleeper so it kept me up a bit. The beds are a bit noisy too so I kept waking myself up when I rolled over at night. Short drive to Key Largo or Florida city for supplies but this place is great to just do nothing.
A great location and a comfortable place to stay. Peaceful sitting area outside and spacious inside. Washer and dryer a big plus!

Quiet place to relax
My husband and I enjoyed staying at this property. The area is gated and very quiet, not a lot of people around when we were there. It was very relaxing sitting on the dock, and the pool was great. This is really getting away from it all since it is more than a few miles away from the main part of Key Largo.
The inside of the property was very clean. Kitchen was fully stocked with any utensil and dishware you can think of. I enjoyed this, since I cooked a few times while we were there. The only issue with the inside I would mention is that it is VERY bright as soon as the sun rises in what I would consider to be the master bedroom in the trailer. Some curtains would come in handy, unless getting up at the crack of dawn is your thing.
Overall, we were thoroughly relaxed after our trip and would definitely would stay again.

Will note both bedrooms do have window treatments, and both have Queen Size beds.
However, the Master Bedroom does face East and the windows are rather large. Floor to Ceiling.
The Second Bedroom is darker in the mornings.
This Bedroom faces West and has less windows.
