This home is an Island signature property which is steeped in Nantucket history. Built in 1765, by Peter Folger (who's daughter Abiah grew up, married and gave birth to Ben Franklin), it was occupied by 5 generations of the Folger family from 1765 until 1955. It has been the subject of artists, photographers and historians because of its wonderful stye and it's unique design as a full 3 story residence.
It changed hands a number of times until it was purchased by the present owner and totally renovated in 1992. All of the elegance, style and character of the property was maintained while modernizing all 3 floors.
