Welcome to this beautiful 500 square foot 1 bedroom, 1 bathroom lock-off apartment attached to a house in the desirable Lake Dillon community. This home sleeps four, well-trained pets are allowed, and there is a fenced yard providing your furry friend with lots of safe play.

The living room features a gas stove, flat screen TV and a queen-sized sleeper sofa for additional sleeping arrangements. Extra sheets and blankets are in the closet. The full-sized kitchen is stocked with all the essential cookware and tableware to cook a meal away from home and the dining area comfortably seats four people.

The bedroom features a king-sized bed and a television. It has its own access to the full bathroom that features a pedestal sink and walk-in shower. The bathroom is stocked with towels and an initial supply of toiletries.

The location of this apartment can’t be beat. You will enjoy breathtaking views of the mountains from the living room windows and just outside the front door, plus you're conveniently located between Keystone, Copper Mountain, Breckenridge and Vail.

**Ultra-premium Linens and Ivory White Bedding** This property has been upgraded with ultra-premium linens and ivory white bedding. Our ultra-premium linens rival those of The Four Seasons featuring extra soft, oversized towels and high quality bed linens that have a subtle satin stripe pattern for a look of elegance. The ivory white bedding is modeled after high-end hotels and resorts. This bedding showcases a soft, white-striped duvet cover with a medium thick, high quality down alternative duvet. Featuring an uncompromising and industry leading standard of cleanliness, the duvet covers are laundered after each and every guest stay.

(For additional sleeping options, air mattresses are available upon request for a small fee.)

ENHANCED GUEST SERVICE: Rest assured that this home away from home is professionally managed. We provide cleaning services, regular maintenance, lock-out service and 24/7 emergency call service.

GUARANTEED BEST PRICE: If you find a better deal at the time of booking on a comparable property, then provide us with clear evidence and we will beat the deal by 10%.

DISCOUNTS YOU WILL USE: As a guest of Summit County Mountain Retreats, you can take advantage of discounts on an array of services including ski rentals, ground transportation, bike rentals, horseback riding and much more. Let us know during the booking process, and we'll make sure you have what you need.

WATCH OUT FOR GIMMICKS: Don’t be fooled when someone offers discounted lift tickets. Discounts on lift tickets are all the same as long as you do not buy at the ticket window. Buy your discounted lift tickets from the kiosk at the grocery store or online. Kids Ski Free is another gimmick designed to make guests believe they’re getting a deal when in reality they’re paying higher nightly rates and an “amenities fee.” When you do the math on total cost of stay it turns out it’s not a deal at all.

Guestbook comments from the manager

Great location for us to have one parent drop off the family to ski and get back to the big apartment and do some business work on the wireless internet provided. Also liked for a small fee we could bring our dog with us.

Reviewer Comments:

The size and location of the property are accurate and it is a great location due to it's vicinity to shopping, skiing and restaurants. I would say that it is a perfect space for 2-4 people. However, we did have a few problems with our stay. First, the pull out mattress of the sofa bed was terrible. The mattress is very thin and even after covering it with several available blankets, you could still feel the springs. The house was relatively clean, but there was still some issues with the house keeping that could have been improved. There were blankets in the closet available for our use, but covered with dog hair, and the bathroom also could have used a little more attention, we were left with no extra toilet paper and the entry from the driveway was very icy. Finally, I am not sure how this could have been prevented, but we were without hot water for 36 hours due to their hot system and the amount snow received. However, I will say that the management company, Summit County Mountain Retreats Management, was awesome. They went out of their way to make our stay comfortable while addressing the issues i mentioned above. They brought us a blow-up bed, extra T.P. , linens and sent a maintenance person to look at hot water issue first thing. With some hesitance, I would recommend the property because of the space, the location and the price.

Reviewer Comments:

This property was cleaned very well with the exception of the hide a bed comforters. We had to go through 3 of them to find one that wasn't covered in dog hair. They were folded in the closet so I think they were just overlooked by the cleaning service. Otherwise a solid 5.

Very Difficult Stay

Reviewer Comments:

I arrived at the property two weeks ago today, and had a very difficult stay. After check out, I contacted the property manager about my issues to see if they would help resolve them before I left a bad review. As of today, no contact or resolution has been made. I drive an SUV with brand new tires, and could not get up the driveway even after trying for over an hour. This meant I had to unload and carry everything up and down the treacherous drive. Their solution was to park 300 yards away at a business overnight. The drive was plowed in the morning, but still did not help the conditions. No salt or shovel were provided for clearing the path to the house either. The shower was tiny, and would not hold a hot or even warm water temperature beyond 90 seconds. The location was great, but I would have gladly driven further to stay in place with a hot shower and reasonable parking solutions. Before you arrive, the management company floods you with info. I appreciate being informed, but hyper saturation is not good. It took too long to find the wifi info, emergency contact info, etc.

Owner's Response: Humm. So it is our fault that apparently you have a 2 wheel drive, rear wheel drive vehicle without snow tires and you drove this into the mountains in the middle of winter and had trouble with and this is our fault! It is interesting that the family that lives in the same house that this lock off is attached to has no problems with the driveway. Then we are accused of giving "flooding" you with too much information, but yet you wanted more information about the Wifi, which was provided several times in the "flood" of information. Finally, you had a "very difficult stay", but yet did not bother contacting us about the "difficult" issues until after your stay.

My girlfriend and I (plus our furry companion) came up to stay here for 2 nights following Thanksgiving. It was a great spot to stay and the side yard was great for our pup. The fireplace is really nice and the furniture is comfy. This place is in the perfect location next to some of my favorite watering holes in Dillon and is right next to Dillon Dam which makes it easy to cut to Frisco/Breck. We would stay here again!

One of my favorite places to stay in Dillon !

  • 5 of 5

This is such a great location, easy to get all parts of the county, grocery store and restaurants. The unit is always in great shape, the management company is very responsive and helpful. I have stayed here several times and am heartbroken to see no more availability for the rest of the ski season ! Planned to book several days through March

Reviewer Comments:

This is our second time staying here, and once again we had a fantastic stay. The owners updated the carpet, which looks and feels so much better than the old carpet. There are tons of thoughtful touches throughout the home: a boot tray near the front door, board games, full sets of dishes and flatware, plenty of clean fluffy towels, 4 extra blankets in the bedroom closet, humidifier, and every kitchen appliance you could possibly need (seriously there is a slow cooker, blender, toaster oven...). With two dogs we love having the gated area next to the house - and the addition of a waste bin outside makes it easy to clean up after them. We love this rental! It's the perfect size for two people with two dogs, it has every amenity we could possibly ask for, and we love the gorgeous views of the mountains. We will definitely be back again next year!
