Lakefront - Lake Granby - Spectacular Views - Very Private

Bedrooms 3
Property type cabin
Minimum Stay 3 nights

About the property

Cabin, 3 Bedrooms, 1 Bath, (Sleeps 8)

Spectacular lakefront location on a private peninsula of Lake Granby bordered by national forest on two sides. Lake Granby is the second largest lake in CO with a shoreline that is 45 miles around with plenty of private coves, islands and beaches to explore. The lake is great for water skiing, wake boarding, tubing, fishing in the summer and snowmobiling and ice fishing in the winter. The location faces south for all day sun and has some of the best lake/mountain views that you will ever see!

Property sleeps 10 in beds with 3 queens, 2 fulls and 4 twins. There are two family rooms, a ping pong table, great fire pit for roasting marshmallows under the stars and an excellent sledding hill in the winter. There is one full bath in the main cabin and a bath with a wash basin with fresh water and two portable toilets in the second cabin.

Perfect Lake House Retreat

  • 5 of 5

Stayed at the house with 1 toddler and 7 adults, and the place was great. We were able to load/unload our boat right on the beach, and also enjoy the great deck during the afternoon sunshine! I would recommend this place to anyone looking for an escape on Lake Granby.

Pretty views and spacious

  • 3 of 5

The property was great and had lots of room. The only draw backs were the lack of a second bathroom, a little bit of uncleanliness in the boat house and mosquitos. But I would go back with a smaller group.

Absolutely beautiful spot for a weekend trip

  • 5 of 5

The title for this property sets expectations high; the experience in person exceeds those expectations. The house and the "barn" are located on what feels like a peninsula at the edge of Lake Granby, with 360 degree views down toward the water and back up toward the hills. We spent much of our time outside, enjoying the lakefront, sitting on the porch, or playing horseshoes down by the Lake. Great location for a family retreat, and with bunk beds galore. Slept 10 grown men comfortably. It was a pleasure working with the owners.

Great Views

  • 4 of 5

Had a great time with a large group which included 4 small children, the two cabins "Barn" helped a lot with the ping pong table, TV and two bedrooms. This place has spectacular views of the lake. The owner Laura was great and responded quickly to questions we had. We were able to use the canoe which was an added bonus. The only complaint I would have if you have a large number there is only one full bath, the "Barn" has a "Camper like stool", which did help. We all had a wonderful time and enjoyed our trip.

Great Place!

  • 5 of 5

We rented this property just last week and what a wonderful stay we had! My husband and I have two little ones, ages 3 1/2 and 8 months, and we had a blast exploring Granby and Grand Lake. The property is within walking distance of a marina, where we rented a pontoon boat for the day. It is close to the town of Grand Lake as well with cute, little shops, and some good restaurants. This property is absolutely beautiful and you really cannot beat the views from the home. Both houses have windows everywhere that not only allow you to have a panoramic, gorgeous view every time you look out any window, but also allows for a cool breeze on a warm day, which cools both of the homes nicely. With it being only the four of us, we hardly used the "barn" other than to play ping pong a couple times. Both houses on this property are very clean, up to date, but at the same time create a rustic feel with the hardwood and log furniture. Laura, the owner, was nothing short of extremely pleasant to work with. She responded to my questions promptly, got in touch immediately when it was discovered I left one of my favorite shirts there, and returned our deposit in under a week of our departure.

In short, this was an amazing experience and I wouldn't think twice about staying here again!

Perfect family getaway

  • 5 of 5

What a wonderful place! We took a week long vacation to this cabin with 2 families and a total of 9 people. The "barn" was a great place for the kids to play and easily accommodated everyone for a good nights sleep. The view from the deck is amazing! Kitchen nicely stocked and the laundry facilities are great when you have a bunch of littles who like to get dirty. The owners were prompt in responding to my questions and accommodated my request to move our trip up one day. Very easy to work with. The town of Grand Lake was quaint and lake Grandby was great for boating and fishing. We will definitely be back!
